I took my 14month old son here for his first pair of glasses after being highly recommended to us by his eye doctor at Cornell. I have twins so it was a bit of a trying day for me. The entire staff was friendly(especially with the kids) and took extra time near closing to get my order placed ASAP. They rushed my order and were able to get the glasses to me in 2days(it was an urgent need as told by the doctor.) About a week after our son had his new glasses we received a phone call and they told us they had not been happy having to rush them and had produced new lenses for us and if we could come back they would like to switch them for the new lenses free of charge! My husband had recently had lenses done somewhere else and was not happy so we dropped off both pairs and they were able to have them both ready at the same time so I could pick them up in one trip instead of two. After all of that we received a hand written thank you card from the staff. These people are incredible, they made this transition so easy for me, I don’t have glasses and feel confident I have provided my little guy with the absolute BEST product possible. Amazing customer service! Came in off the street with a pair of my own glasses(not purchased at Leonard) which needed new nose pads. The store was quiet on a Thursday morning and the saleswoman graciously offered to replace the pads while we waited. Five minutes later, a new pair of nose pads on the old frames and I was on my way. No fuss, no muss… wishing the Starbucks line worked as efficiently. Can’t speak to the variety of glasses or any other services but they did have a nice assortment of magazines to browse while waiting…
