This is my favorite Mexican place on the UES. The waiters are very sweet and attentive, the prices are decent, and the owner even gave us a free shot at the end of our meal(pineapple vodka shot — highly recommend). I got cheese quesadilla with guac, which both were amazing, as I am a vegetarian. I highly recommend this place. Only downside is they charge for their spicy sauces. Overall a must see for Mexican food.

This place is really good! Not GREAT, but… just really good. The drinks are 10000% on-point and I reallllly recommend getting one — I got the(flaming!) Happy Birthday Margarita, and my friend got a Passion Fruit Mojito. For $ 12, you get a HUGE, delicious, and very strong drink. You can’t go wrong. The food, however, was very standard… They were accommodating enough to make me flautas without any meat, but the flavor was just OK. There was no spice whatsoever, and I was charged $ 2 for a side of hot sauce(that wasn’t even particularly hot.) Portions are decently sized, though, and the service is good. Overall: a great place for drinks, but don’t expect the food to blow you away.

I’ve ordered delivery from here so I cannot comment on the dining in part. It did get delivered pretty quickly. Tacos de magaritas Got some shrimp tacos. Clean and flavorful. Would get again or with different meat. Freshly made guac I asked for it to be spicy and they delivered with lots of jalapenos inside. But very good guac. Chicken fajitas Loved these as well. They came hot which I liked and I’m sure they were sizzling if you order them in the restaurant. I didn’t read the menu that closely so it came with a bunch of chips and two orders of rice and beans. We were able to eat everything but I was so full afterwards I had to take a nap to recover.

Just reiterating all the good things people are saying here… Noche is my new favorite place in the Upper East Side! The service is so exceptional, the food tastes great, and don’t get me started on how incredible the pina coladas are. Their flaming margaritas are also on point! The warm tortilla chips and the guac are just amazing. Someone makes the guac right in front of you and we were able to choose how spicy we wanted it. Everything tasted great, the restaurant has a cute romantic look, everyone was nice, and the prices were appropriate given the entire experience. Do yourself and try this place out when you can!!!

Went to Noche De Margaritas for my birthday dinner on a Thursday evening and absolutely loved it! Definitely a gem in the UES. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the friendly man saying«hola» to go along with the whole Mexican theme of the restaurant. The whole staff was super friendly and very attentive even offering advice on what drinks to order. What I really loved about this place was the complimentary nacho basket with the red sauce(not even sure what it was — maybe pico de gallo? Doesn’t even matter — it tasted good!). As for the food/drink I ordered the Margarita Tacos with the Happy Birthday Margarita. The soft tacos were delicious accompanied by the spicy green sauce + black beans and rice — overall I devoured the whole thing in seconds! Oh and yeah, they have great tasting flaming Margaritas(picture attached to this review)! Definitely recommend you guys to check this place out!

Loved our dinner here. The food was excellent as described in many of the reviews, the drinks were indeed on fire, the guacamole was made in front of you, and the staff were extremely friendly and generous. Thank god fantastic neighborhood places like this still exist!

Five stars for this authentic family owned establishment. Service was genuinely great — owner & staff just appeared to care about customers. Drinks were fun — with a fire lit lime, very strong and tasty. Food was delicious, full of flavor and plentiful. This is a must try! Definitely a hidden gem :)

This place is so good that I came here twice after work with some friends for happy hour! Although this place is small, it really is a gem. Their flaming drinks are so cool! I had the rainbow and passion fruit margaritas! They were great! The waiters were very attentive and friendly. They even made some recommendations. The pricing was decent. Chips and salsa were complimentary, but we ordered guac. They make the guac right in front of you, which is something you hardly see these days in restaurants. The quesadillas were also delicious and I highly recommend that! The flautas were great, as well! I will definitely come back in the future!

Way overpriced for the quality of the food. First we ordered fish and shrimp tacos. The waiter took our orders and then repeated them back to us perfectly to make sure he got it right since we’d changed our minds a couple of times we all ordered tacos. When they brought out the food they brought burritos. We were stunned as we had seen him writing everything down. No clue how that happened but oh well. When they brought out the correct order it was appalling The tacos were grey sad looking like they needed to be on Zoloft. I mean Mexican is supposed to be exciting food. The food looked depressed. The fish taco was«sautéed»(yeah I know) my pescatarian friend asked me to taste it because it looked grey and tasted like chicken to her. The margaritas were sweet and came from a mix. I was really surprised at how awful the experience was as the reviews here were good. I’ll add that I had ordered from the restaurant a while ago when it had just opened and the food was bad so I hadn’t tried it again but that was a year ago and I figured after seeing the reviews that they had hit their stride. Big mistake on my part. This has the quality far below a crappy taco stand with the prices of a mid-priced restaurant. In fact most food trucks I have eaten at have much better quality. Ugh. Just unacceptable.

This place was really good! My favorite part though… the margaritas. The chips and salsa were great to start off with, I ordered the three tacos that had rice and beans as well and they were awesome! They tasted very authentic and delicious. Moving on to the margaritas. I got the rainbow margarita which was awesome and my sister got the traditional one and really liked it! Of the three favors, my favorite was definitely the strawberry, so I highly recommend getting the strawberry if you don’t get the rainbow. Also, my favorite part is that they come on fire!(Make sure you make a wish before you put it out). Super fancy! At the end we were given a free pineapple tequila shot, which was delicious! Service was also great here, and the atmosphere was great as well, great for a cute date!

I had an amazing dinner experience at Noche De Margaritas! The service was amazing, delicious food with huge portions and a beautiful ambiance. I’m Mexican and it’s extremely hard to impress me with the execution of Mexican cuisine especially in the city but it was authentic and satisfying. Bravo! Oh an the margaritas ! Happy hour, can’t beat $ 6 for deliciously strong margaritas, tasted top shelf.

Ventured up to this place with my cousin for a late lunch/early dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the fantastic service, intimate ambiance and extensive selection of margaritas! If you are not a fan of Mexican food(if that’s even possible), then you must at least come for the margaritas. They have unique flavors from Kiwi to Passionfruit to Pineapple. Our waiter was the sweetest man and gave us each a margarita on the house after paying our bill. This is a great place to visit for a nice, intimate dinner with friends or family. I’ll definitely be back to support this business again.

I ended up here based on my location and Unilocal reviews. This small restaurant is seriously a gem, I wouldn’t call it a hole in the wall because you can surprisingly hold a group of 5 – 6 people at 1 table and still manage to be comfortable. The service was top notch. Every waitress and waiter smiled, the owner came to each table and asked if we were enjoying dinner. I really loved the attention and at the same time it was not overbearing. The prices are very affordable based on ten other restaurants in the area. The main attraction of the restaurant just so happens to be flaming margaritas. They have a speciality«happy birthday» flaming margarita but I was told you could could any of the margaritas(on ice or frozen) on fire. I was intrigued and had to get one. I opted for the flaming«Rainbow Margarita» which contained mango, coconut, pineapple and I believe raspberry. I have to say this was a pretty good frozen margarita. It was not over saturated with tequila and it was not super sweet. And the good thing is I did not wake up with a headache. I’ve gone to other restaurants and the margaritas leave me the next day regretting life. That was not the case here. I have to talk about the hand made guacamole. I’ve had some great Guac and the Guac here is on the top of my list of places to get Guac, the spice level was just right and there were plenty of onions just the way I like it. I strangely craved a bit more garlic but that’s just me. Also, the home made chips were not salty, warm and contained the perfect crunch. For entrees I tried the Shrimp in Mango sauce. Holy cow! The explosion of flavors in my mouth when I dipped my rice in the sauce. I’m thinking about this right now and my mouth is watering. It reminded me of St Lucia’s famous banana ketchup but a bit sweeter. But I highly recommend this dish if you are adventurous and looking for something outside of the standard Mexican American dish(burritos, tacos, etc). The 2nd entrée I tried was the sizzling chicken fajita. I have to admit the plate was not sizzling the way I’ve had it at other locations but the chicken was juicer than any other Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in the city. The chicken was well season but it was a tad bit overcooked. Im not sure if it was because it was end of the night but I was still pleasantly surprised the chicken was not dry. I’d mentioned the happy birthday margarita to the waitress but I did not get it, once dinner was done, she came out with happy birthday tequila shots for myself and my mate. I was honestly very surprised and pleased. I definitely plan on bringing friends here for drinks! One more note: I took a slice of tres leches to go, I ate it at home and fell in love. It had a homemade taste which I have been craving.

This is always the first place I think of when I want to go out for Mexican food. All of the food is fresh and delicious. The service might be the best in the neighborhood. One of my favorite restaurants.

Overall, it is a great spot for Mexican cuisine in the UES! I came here this past weekend with a couple of friends for dinner. It felt authentic from the moment we walked in the door given the restaurant’s décor, music, and menus. The staff was extremely friendly and provided a comfortable atmosphere for newcomers like ourselves. We started with some margaritas and guacamole. The presentation for the drinks was cool considering they were on fire! The ratio of alcohol to margarita mix was good, making for an enjoyable beverage. They made the guacamole at the table, and we appreciated their timeliness of providing more chips as we devoured this appetizer. The entrees were also very good. I went with the pollo chipotle, which came with refried beans and guacamole, while others at our table ordered the pollo con mole poblano and fajitas. We concurred that all of our meals were delicious and filling. I especially liked the sauce on my chicken. The price to portion was reasonable — chicken dishes were $ 15 and the fajitas ranged from $ 17 to $ 21. Our group was very pleased with the service and quality of food at this restaurant. I will definitely be coming back!

Went here after having a craving for margaritas and unfortunately their margaritas and food were mediocre and pretty bland. For a small restaurant that wasn’t even full, service was lacking. Their margaritas were nothing special and not very strong for $ 12. I ordered the chips and gauc which was again kind of bland. We ordered it spicy, it wasn’t; there is usually additional veggies(onions, tomatoes), there wasn’t. I also had the chicken quesadilla, which was small and the chicken tasted a little funny. There wasn’t enough sour cream and cheese in my opinion. Overall not a very noteworthy experience and will not be returning.

Fixed to order, tasty, Mexican food with a modern flair. Allergies are taken serious. Food preferences are creatively combined with the standard menu items. There is an «A» in the window and the restaurant is clean. Bright colors and decorated luxuriously with traditional Mexico. This is a family owned business and you get that feel. We were seated right away on a Saturday afternoon lunchtime For starters complimentary fresh made chips and salsa came to the table right away. My daughter gave her vote of approval on the salsa and chips! Me too on just the chips! The Margarita’s Quesadilla’s were excellent. I had mine plain. My daughter had hers as is on the menu. They looked like just enough too eat. After two pieces you realized how filling they are. Delicious taste. Guacamole and sour cream on the side. I cleaned the plate. My daughter took half of hers home! The service was right on time. Our server Marleni was sweet. She made me feel welcome. The music was very good. The sound level just right for the small space. A nice mix of Mexican and American sounds. We really enjoyed our lunch. I plan to return for the Burro.

I ordered take out from Noche through Seamless = the three enchiladas and pollo with mole poblano. Both entrees came with generous side portions of beans and rice. The Pollo was very overcooked. Almost inedible. I was thinking two stars at this point. However, the three enchiladas(cheese, chicken, and beef) was above average and prepared well. I would never eat the Pollo con Mole Poblano again but maybe go back to try other items.

Absolute best kept secret on the UES! I have been here so many times and it’s one of the only places I can say has NEVER let me down. The service is always on point and the food is always perfect. It is a cute little Mexican place, very casual. The servers make you feel like you are at an expensive restaurant. Eddie is amazing! I recommend this place to anyone who wants good food with great service at a low cost!
