Love this place — not the cheapest, but totally worth every penny with the attention to detail they have.

I had to knock one star off because of just way too many bad experiences w/the assistants. I had to stop coming here because the risk of not getting the owner was too high, and my face just can’t any more of the bad times with the apprentices.

I love this threading joint. It’s tucked near Steinway St. Prices are about the same. This place charges tax and it annoys me because who wants to dig into their pockets for coins after a hair pulling session? Upper lip USED to be $ 3. They raised it to $ 5 now. Sometimes they do specials so call them or pass by just in case. They also do facials and other type of «spa-like» services. Pari accepts credit cards for a certain amount. When the owner is there, she will be more accommodating. The other lady isn’t so great w/her english so you may struggle trying to get through the barrier. If you need to call Pari, do not block your #, you won’t get through because they have caller ID. The hours are great for people getting off of work. They close roughly around 7:30pm. Walk-ins are accepted for threading services, but if you need to do a wax that requires more time, she will ask you to make an appt.

I went here today. I had my brows, chin, and upper lip done for a total cost of $ 14. It was my first time being threaded so I can’t really compare service. BUT, I felt the ladies knew what they were doing, were quick and affordable, and the owner checked my service when it was finished and touched it up to her liking. I will return to Pari.
