I was thrown out of Puck Fair tonight after a physical altercation with their bouncers. The bouncers decided they should drag me and my wife out of the bar after another patron punched me in the throat for verbally confronting the fact that they were rude to me and my wife — and if you’d like to review your security footage look at the basement bar where she threw a beer at us. I will continue to post this review throughout the day from multiple accounts, regardless of whether Unilocal pulls the post.

I come with co workers a lot after work. This spot is just around the corner from our office. The bar has a front and rear entrance and three floors. The upstairs and downstairs are full floors but still cool areas. The downstairs has a short bar. The staff here are normally friendly laughing and smiling. They usually are able to give us a table or we just make our own space. The prices are fair /average for the area. I have never complained of a water downed drink either. I have tried most of there snack menu. Great nachos with chicken or beef. I can’t remember much else we get there to eat but I do remover there being a good variety. The coloring of the interior is brown and just dark enough. A lot of wood and very comfortable space. As I said I come here a lot and with my five star review I definitely like this place. Great for after work shindigs but if your gonna have a group call ahead and ask to reserve space.

Dim lit, dainty little pub that makes you feel like you are on a mountain/in London. Didn’t get any food, but saw some come out and it looked good. «Kings may come… And kings may go… But king puck goes on forever»

Ah, Puck Fair. A fine Irish pub ye are. A rather humble spot in… Nolita?! Aye! The pub is cozy, with warm woods from the floor to the old wood beams on the ceiling. Fancy a proper pint? They serve the black stuff up right, in imperial glasses. Puck Fair manages to be a popular and humble neighborhood haunt. They serve up full Irish breakfasts, fish & chips, oysters on the half shell, curry fries, and really decent burgers. Oh, and some salads for good measure. A great place for post-work pints, lazy Sunday brunches, or pints and good craic with friends until 4am. 4am! Sláinte!

This place has the best Shepard’s pie and nachos in Soho. What more can you ask for? Beer, Shepard’s pie and nachos!!! The shepard’s pie is huuuugeeee and the balance of the potato and the beef is perfect. Nachos are seriously fully loaded nachos. The plate is stacked high and everything is fresh. Nachos are never soggy, beef is never questionable, cheese is piping hot, and who can forget the jalapenos and ample amount of sour cream on the side. Staff here is straight chill too.

Quaint little bar in NYC. Probably a little biased cause this the bar we went into right after I proposed to my wife. We visit NYC every year and will make it in to Puck Fair everytime.

Cool looking interior. We sat at a private bar section. Ordered the nachos. I believe these were the best I’ve ever had.

A great place for some drinks and food. Being so close to NYU, I feel there’s a good mix of people, between young and old. The bar itself has a great rustic vibe with tables available for eating. The bartender Dave is amazing! He provided great service, so attentive in getting drink orders and food came right away when my friends and I sat at the bar and had some drunk munchies. This place has a great assortment of beer and the bar is nice and long so it doesn’t give off that tight compact feel other bars in the area give. I want to point out that their nachos are quite impressive. I ordered the beef nachos and it was really delicious. I usually never expect much at places like this but I was blown away. The portion was great for sharing and there was so much cheese and beef chili. I believe there were two types of cheese, one yellow and one white(not sure what they were specifically but one was probably cheddar), topped with jalapenos, tomato salsa, cilantro and a great portion of super savory, tender beef chili. The chips were still crunchy when it came out and there were so much delicious toppings all over the plate. It was a great dish and I would definitely order it again. I have never been disappointed coming here over the years and hope to never get disappointed. Definitely a great bar.

Always a good time here! Yes, it’s crowded, but somehow magically my friends and I manage to get a seat somewhere. Love the pew style booths. The music is always changing so it keeps you on your toes. They have a large selection of beers that are tasty, but last night I had a cocktail, a Templeton Sour. It really hit the spot. Their burger and fries were delish. Served on an English muffin. The only thing I would change is that I think the English muffin should be toasted. Our server was super sweet and even gave us separate checks no problem. I will be back, just don’t know when. Wanna go?

Stopped in for drinks. Great location right off the train. Its darkly lit old bar with so much charm. Lots of intimate seating, and a great beer selection as so many others would say. It was no packed on a Monday night around 7pm which was great for us. Enjoyed a few beers in this great spot. Surly will be back.

Delightfully authentic Itish pub w/delightfully authentic food. My Irish wife is addicted to Irish brown bread & swears this is the real deal. Delish Buffalo chicken sliders for me, washed down with a nice selection of tap beers.

Full bar with a cool vibe and many beer and cocktails options. Did not try any of the food but enjoyed the drinks while we waited a rain storm out.

I only have good things to say about Puck Fair. I used to work a couple blocks away, and this was a reliable haven for an after work beer/burger/shot/whatever. they are open late, their excellent kitchen is open late, the bartenders and table servers are exemplary, and they have good drinks.

Stopped in for a quick beer while waiting for my wife to get out of work. It Prices were good for a SoHo bar. Nice old rustic NY bar feel. Bartenders were friendly and open to placate my need to gab. :). Menu was small but looked good. Wife said it’s pretty good. I’d go back. Have fun

Was here for about 3.3 seconds. Enough time to determine that this place is far too crowded for no apparent reason, that the downstairs is so dungeonous and made of rock that it’s impossible to have a conversation with someone directly across from you without screaming, that we ordered a drink and a beer and the bartender charged my fiancé’s credit card $ 69 and took FOREVER to right this wrong.

Really enjoyed this place. The bartender with the good hair was really nice and had a kickass music selection(CCR, and the like) and the drinks were good. The wall art was really cool also. I would definitely come here if I lived nearby.

Here’s the thing… the US and Canada have different rules governing the creation of Guinness than in Europe or(oddly) Jamaica. And Guinness in the US is worse for it. Compared to a pint in Ireland, the typical US brew is watery and bitter. So getting a truly memorable pint of Guinness usually involves ‘crossing the pond’. But there is hope in the form of Puck Fair — an Irish pub that’s nestled in SoHo, conveniently around the corner from the Broadway-Lafayette subway station(B, D, F, and M lines) and the 6 train, courtesy of the link to the Bleecker street station. Thanks to their high-end Kilkenny cooling system(one of maybe three or four in all of NYC) and their well-trained barmen, Puck Fair delivers a pint of Guinness that is almost as good as what you’ll get in Dublin. And that’s a hell of a compliment. If you love Guinness or want to try it as it should be served(including a wry barman named Shane with an Irish lilt) — come to Puck Fair. But they aren’t a Guinness one-trick pony. We decided to try out their traditional Irish stew. To my lament, they were sold out. So we opted to try their Guinness-battered Fish & Chips, Mini-burgers, and Curry Fries. The Fish & Chips were quite good — the batter was light and flavorful. The chips(aka fries) were cut from real potatoes and cooked just enough to make them crispy but not leave them greasy. Very nice. My wife enjoyed the Mini-burgers… and then we fought over her Curry Fries. Holy Crap! Go to Puck Fair for Guinness and Curry Fries! Those little suckers are addicting. Somehow curry is just a perfect ‘condiment’ for fries. I can’t explain it. Needless to say, we’ll be going back to enjoy a pint, more Curry Fries and finally get a bowl of their Irish Stew. Given how good the rest of the food was, I have to believe the Stew won’t disappoint.

A pretty decent beer selection and fairly large for what it looks like on the outside. We popped in for a drink or 2 after running some errands. It was about 5pm on a Friday, no happy hour specials at all. Every other bar around did and we stumbled into the one that didn’t. Whomp Whomp. The beers are normal priced, and most come in 20oz glasses, but they label which ones don’t. Service was decent, the crowd is a bit after work and a bit touristy at the same time. Not a bad crowd at all. Overall, a-ok.

Came here for a little shopping break drink and to use the bathroom. It’s got great ambiance and the bartenders are friendly(though service is slow). Great selection of beers though seating is hard to come by. I gave it 3 stars because there really wasn’t anything that jumped out at me about this place. Fairly run of the mill Irish bar in NYC. Good place to keep in mind next time I’m in Nolita shopping!

GREAT***NOLITA***AFTER***WORK***HANGOUT Yes great Nolita bar mostly filled with locals and peeps having a drink with their colleques after work. The mellow slightly toned down lights create a relaxing atmosphere, which enhances chilling out with work buddies, friend(s) or dates. If you fancy lounging at the bar or having your own table, there is plenty of it. I love the high ceiling and the wall paper behind the bar. Service is attentive and the food is yummy. When you order cocktails mention NO well alcohol you want the good stuff for example Goose vodka or Patron, Don Julio tequila, otherwise you cannot taste the drink it will be too diluted and big bad headache the next day. Yeah great hangout… Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!
