Dr. Lumiere was kind enough and professional, but his office staff really dropped the ball and I’ll never go back. First off, they never called me with my tests results. Perhaps I was spoiled with my previous OBGYN(who was amazing and moved out of the area) but I was expecting a call with results from my pap, normal or irregular, but NOTHING. That I could get past, but when I received a $ 500 bill from the labs I was shocked and justifiably upset. Turns out the office had been careless when transcribing my information, incorrectly input my birth date and therefore my insurance was denied. Such a careless mistake is really unacceptable. My father was a surgeon and ran 8 offices and would never put up with such careless staff. I called the office to talk about their mistake, no apology, nothing except«Oh, I guess it just happened.» No longer my doctor, that’s for sure.

Dr. Lumiere is a kind person, and it seems to me he wants to help. Unfortunately, I am here to give him a negative review because he botched up my diagnosis twice. I hate to write a negative review for someone I think is a good guy, but gynecological health is just too important. My GP who originally recommended him years ago, was shocked when I told him about the repeated(mis)diagnosis. I am told by doctor friends that it is very unusual for a doctor to tell you not to see another doctor. His mistake(2x!) could have been very harmful to me. I don’t think Unilocal existed when I first saw him, but I am writing this to give the next woman information I wish I had about Dr. Lumiere’s competence a long time ago.

Okay, firstly, this is the wrong address listed. This is the old address, the new one is 210 Central Park South. I’ve gone to Dr. Lumiere for about two years now and all I can say is Great Great Great. Very respectable office, super professional and he’s really personable.
