Side Walk

Ok… I rarely ever write a bad review and never leave less than 20% tip, but that all changes today. Wow. We ordered a sampling of meze including fried calamari, chicken flat bread. Chicken skewers, shrimp skewers and fried cauliflower. The food was all quite good. The service, however, was atrocious. So… We were seated and about 10 minutes later the waitress approached to get our order. We ordered and she repeated it back. (Dark hair, mid-30’s). Another waitress brought our drinks over. (Mid-20’s, pink hair, dressed like she was homeless). 30 minutes later we still didn’t have any food or even another drink. I flagged the waitress that took our order and requested another round. She then explained that she wasn’t our waitress but that she’d get it for us. Really? If you have a problem with your coworker bring it up with her or your boss, not with me. Needless to say she brought over our drinks and the only other time we saw her was to bring the check when she was all friendly.
A group of 6 walked in as they were changing over the kitchen. Instead of seating them and giving them bread and a drink to start they actually convinced the group to leave by whining that the kitchen wouldn’t be open for 20 minutes. This place was established in 1985 but it’s really hard to believe they’ve been able to stay in business as long as they have because of the service.
BTW… The restaurant was empty and only a couple of tables seated outside. They were far from being overwhelmed.
