I’ve had a pizza-pie in New York before but nothing tops the homestyle slices that I had the pleasure of «nomming» on at St. Marks Pizza. Went to see a show at Webster Hall and found this gem right around the corner. Was told by a few of the locals to try Ray’s pizza, which was literally two buildings down but St. Marks won out when they had indoor seating. It’s December, of course I’m sitting inside! Ordered a slice of their mozarella, tomato pizza and a Buffalo Chicken slice. I am always concerned when I order anything that is Buffalo Chicken, because you always get that weird orange oil that drips all over the place. I swear, you gain five pounds just by looking at it. Went on the whim and got it anyway, I was not disappointed! It was just right, dry cheese but with moist chicken and a giant burst of flavor. All the pizza was fresh and flavorful, so much that after I left the club at 2 in the morning, I came back for another slice. Plus, you can never go wrong when they run a special:(2) slices of cheese and a 20oz soda for $ 5… Pretty much rules. Will most def be back in the near future.

Dropped in at some ridiculous hour in the morning after a Thursday night of partying. Grabbed a pepperoni slice and it was pretty delicious. The combination of hunger and being impaired somewhat led to me burning my tongue but it was well worth it. Definitely worth spending the extra bucks for a good slice and unless I’m on a budget I’d definitely go here over 2 Bros Pizza. They are open until 5am or something cause I went there pretty late. That was definitely clutch.
