Edit: My phone complaint went to T mobile’s division manager. Customer reps on the phone are more helpful. Sending both phones back to t mobile via ups in the same box.
I’ve been a customer for 9 years. I came to this store Wed 2÷10÷16 to help me because my samsung note 4 order was modified 5 times in system. So since Sun 2÷7÷16 til Wed I have no phone. The charger is not charging and I just got phone in summer. The so called mgr or asst mgr took me. Tall skinny guy. He told me at least 3 times I came in Mon 2÷8÷16 at 2 or 230 pm I was in store to modify my order. That is a lie. He kept arguing with me. The computer is 3 hours behind. He said «you’re probably right.» What kind of answer is that? I work nearby and did not come to store until 530ish and his colleague confirmed it. His attitude was «he wont remember you anyway.» I demanded he ask his colleague I was here and colleague confirmed. Long story short UPS and he said I will get replacement phone Tues after holiday. I told this mgr if he dont help me I go to Sprint. He said go ahead. WOW! I go to 23 st Tmobile to get account # and they were upset why he as a mgr did not offer me a temporary phone. Same thing happen to my coworker. This store needs to train him better because HE HAS NO LEADERSHIP! I was told on phone my order be with me thurs, I got my order but this attitude problem with mgr at this union sq 14 st nyc store did not even apologize no sympathy and said wait til tues after holiday, and no customer appreciation. He is the worst. HE NEEDS A LOT OF COACHING. Now I am happy with Sprint with an Iphone. This useless tmobile mgr lost a customer. 8 st Tmobile nyc and 23 st Tmoble nyc rock. 14 st is a horror story. He is too arrogant. I work in customer service. if I acted how he treated me, I’d be on documentation. Have some respect instead of arguing with me. You lost me as a client but also, you lost a flood of people I work with who could have business with you. Not my loss. I love sprint already.

Tried to replicate a deal here that was valid at literally every other T-​Mobile owned store, but the ‘managers’ were terribly unhelpful and unnecessarily terse, especially considering they were in the wrong.
Unlike other T-​Mobile stores I’ve been to, this one had nobody to greet me.
I was ignored until I sought out help from the one person who was sitting at a computer playing with her phone, who turned out to be one of the managers (again, how did someone so unhelpful become manager?).
I informed them that I had used the same process at another store, and had no trouble paying $ 1 toward my future phone bill, but they insisted that I had to buy something expensive in order to get the promotion since buying airtime was not considered paying your bill (absolute bull). I asked to speak with the other manager that she had spoken to, and she just reiterated the same crap.
If you’re wrong, admit you’re wrong, but don’t screw me out of a legitimate deal because you’re trying to fluff up your poor sales, which I assume is a result of your shitty customer service.

In life when you fall down you stand up and stand stronger. Staying on track of life is hard as oppose to derailing off track is very easy. To help a friend I paid for his minutes of calls and texting. As we cogitate by the reception counter a sales associate immediately serve us but we were still conferring the details. We were greeted and acknowledged to be taken care of customer service. This location is prime commercial real estate as it sits in the vicinity of Union Square ideal to all points mass transit service.

I came here yesterday when my phone suddenly stopped working-wouldn’t turn on no matter what I tried (yes, I tried googling how to fix it). Nothing. So I’m freaking out and as soon as I’m finished at work I head to this location because it’s closet to my second job. Everyone seems friendly enough and I notice there’s a list. I give them my name and am told someone would be with me in a few minutes. 10 minutes go by and I ask when someone will be with me. They say just a few more minutes. After 30 minutes with no one helping me and still freaking out that my phone won’t work, scared I’ll have to buy a new phone when I don’t have much spare money, may lose all my information on my old phone, and am super later for my second job I decide I need to go to another T-​Mobile store. In that time I was waiting, I think there was a shift change (I went in around 6pm on a weekday). The store went form about 8 people to 4 people in half an hour. In that time, one employee Krystal disappeared in the backroom for about 10 minutes so there was only 3 people on the floor and one of those employees was only taking names down on the list (so essentially two people were working for 5 people). One woman, Angel, seemed to be busy helping two guys the entire time I was there with what seemed like a complicated issue leaving only 1 person to deal with someone wanting to pay a bill, someone needing a new charger, two people interested in buying new phone, and me with my broken phone. This location was so inefficient. The poor woman wanting to pay her bill was there for at least 20 minutes. When Krystal finally came out and helped the guy who needed a new charger, it took less than 5 minutes. A few people even came in and left when after a few minutes of waiting. I also don’t understand why it takes one person to write down names. It would have been more efficient for him to assist the customer needing to pay the bill and even order the guy a new charger. Overall, it was just a horrible frustrating experience and I would highly suggest not to go here. Even when I finally left after over 30 minutes of waiting, I still wasn’t next on the list. I went to 180 5^th Ave-​much better experience.

Alia was so very extremely helpful. I recommend. I know about customer service. And they are all about it. Thank god. The customer service rep Alia literally took care of me for almost two hours trying to figure out my switch and she did a wonderful job. Very much appreciated. Thank you

The customer service here matches this company’s rates, which is excellent! Upon walking in, i was greeted with smiles and all my concerns/​questions was answered in a timely fashion. This location is a prime spot and was easily accessible.
Everyone was very nice and the best part of the store was their charging station in the back. It was free, easy to use, and so convenient! Great plus especially when you are shopping in the area. Can drop it off, lock it and come back after your shopping is done!

I got great service here. They were super helpful and got me an excellent deal. Made starting a contract as painless as possible. You have to consider that this is right by Union Square, so they must have to deal with a LOT of BS. While we were seated being helped a man came in causing all kinds of ruckus. Clearly a little crazy or drugged or something. The manager (a young WOMAN) did a phenomenal job at handling the situation, getting him out, and apologizing to a customer who encountered him.
I only docked a star because the place is a bit empty and the baseboards, floor, etc, aren’t very nice for a place selling $ 600 phones. Corporate needs to get on that.

I have come to expect very little from T-​Mobile. their service is just really horrible, but I guess you get what you pay for? I just can’t stand that anytime you have an inquiry, you can ask 10 different staff members and get 10 completely different answers. It’s total BS!
I went in here after already spending hours on the phone with a tech support agent who after a month of complaining that my phone didn’t work, advised me to just go into the store and just do a jump upgrade.
I get to the store and a sales assistant «Eric» came to help me. Everything seemed to be going ok until he told me mid-​upgrade that all the T-​Mobile systems were shut down nationwide and that no one knew when they would be back up again. it could be weeks, he said. This made ABSOLUTELY no senses. I asked him how are you guys gona make money if everything is just shut down? He told me to call tmobile and do my upgrade over the phone — which YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR!!!
FAST FORWARD. when I called tmobile customer care to order my phone, they had absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE of this supposed «outage» and even called other stores in my area to confirm. –_​– what a waste of time.

So as I write this review I’m literally in the t-​mobile store trying to figure out why I’m supposed to argue with why my payment as been taken out my account twice.

And I will fully let you know I am not some rich girl. I’m in college and when you take more money than allotted out of my account, I’m going to be more than annoyed. I’m going to be lividly pissed.
Anyways. A older lady named Jenette? Charged my account twice and admited to my boyfriend that it was a mistake and she will let t-​mobile credit my account. Great, that’s taken care of as I would think.
Wrong. 4 days later. I’m here and I’m getting the «I didn’t do that crap»… As I walked in you could already tell she wasn’t happy to see my boyfriend. Blah blah blah. Basically instead of being like oh hey girl, I messed up. I’m getting the run around for your mistake.
I usually wouldn’t be so annoyed if the lady wasn’t so rude and defensive. The manager (pink shirt?) was really helpful and I actually feel a little bad for yelling at her also.
If a simple yea I messed up, I would’ve simply been like hey, you know what. Just keep the money on the account I pay a phone bill every month all the time.
As I’m here in the store you can most obviously tell most of the sales representatives do not really put most effort in anything that doesn’t give them some type of compensation.
The manager again, pretty efficient in trying to calm people down. If you can, however. Just pay your phone bill thorough the machines or online. And never let your boyfriend do it himself.
Oh! And I got a credit on my bill. With advice to call again to get another after I get my money back.
Which should take another 1 – 3 business days.

Echoing Jeff D, but just once, just for a second, just to see how it felt. The device roster at T-​Mobile is alright, but all their stores seem larger than necessary and are thus underpopulated with products and oversaturated with staff.

I often go there to check new phones :)
