I love how clean my clothes are now. Perfect smell, or should I say lack of it! Have tried a few other Wash and Fold places in the city, but these guys really take care of my clothes the right way. Afraid to try anywhere else now.

Mr. Joseph and his establishment are the second best. To Madame Paulette. Since I moved to the village I have been using them they are exceptional truly professional and great customer service. A bit pricey. But it’s worth it for the value of my garments

My clothes came back smelling horribly of BO, and not even mine. It smelled like instead of cleaning them, they had their staff eat a bunch of garlic and then hit the gym donning my clothes. To add insult to injury, the place is more than twice as expensive as the others I’ve tried in the village. $ 15 for a short, cotton, casual dress? $ 30 for a cotton dress that had a few sequin embellishments? I have always been FINE paying a little extra for good dry cleaning, but these guys are just out of control with the pricing for an au-de-locker room final product. Never again.

It’s one of the most conveniently located cleaners in the Village after a string of recent closures nearby. They guy working the counter is friendly, but the prices are pretty unpredictable. Nothing out of the ordinary for basics like sweaters and scarves. However, it’s a very fine line for what they deem a «short» coat versus a «long» one. Once you fall on the wrong side of that line, your wallet is going to be very sad indeed. They also have a tailor on-site who’s good and reasonably priced for small things like buttons — but have yet to deal with anything more«major.»

3.5 stars I can only comment on the wash and fold service. Positives: –Convenient location –Efficient –Friendly Worth mentioning: –A little pricey, but for the sake of convenience, it’s a wash. –Good folding. Not the best, but good enough. –Separate your light/dark colors to avoid an extra $ 2.65 charge, which applies even if you don’t ask for it, apparently. Room for improvement: –Shop has an unpleasant dry cleaner smell to it. I feel like a jerk for pointing out something that(a.) seems unreasonable and(b.) no one else has mentioned… but other shops seem to avoid this odor somehow, so I know it can be done. I just couldn’t wait to get out of there, because of the smell. For what it’s worth, my clothes smell fine, but the shop doesn’t. To sum it up, I’m not completely awestruck, but I’ll be back, because they did a good job and the location is convenient.

I have had some tailoring done here and was very happy with the service, the results and the reasonable prices. The tailor really took time to pin everything and to make sure it was pinned exactly how I wanted it and my clothes come back exactly this way. I also really appreciated that they asked whether I wanted the clothes drycleaned, but said that they thought it wasn’t necessary at this point.

I don’t know why I didn’t review sooner, I’ve been in the neighborhood forever and Joseph, the owner has been doing my dry cleaning for years… He does an excellent job and takes pride in his work. Yeah its a little pricier, but, the quality of service is top notch. Very reliable service. And the tailoring is good too. I’ve had them redesign a shirt for me once– replacing sleeves on a shirt to a different fabric. Good for basic alterations too. I highly recommend their service.

I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I’ve been coming here for six months, and have always enjoyed the excellent service. From the little plastic clips to prevent the sleeves from creasing on the hanger to the extra plastic sheets when it rains, this shop is bar-none perfect.

Definitely the best cleaner in the area — i’ve tried a few since moving to this neighbourhood, but these guys are a top notch. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it if you want your clothes to be looked after well.

Look, I ain’t gonna lie. I don’t know a thing about dry cleaning. My conversations with the dry cleaner usually go like this: Dry Cleaner: «Starch collars?» Me: «Sure.» Dry Cleaner: «Dry cleaning or press?» Me: «You pick.» Dry Cleaner: «Wash and fold?» Me: «Yeah, it’s sunny outside. Why not. Can I have a side of spinach?» What I do know is that Joseph is a legend, his Tibetan assistant is a genuinely lovely dude, and the clothes are always impeccably cleaned, steamed, deep fried or whatever else it is that they do to them. I had a couple of things fixed, including a beautiful Armani cashmere coat. Joseph fixed the lining and cleaned it for me. Fantastically done. Not to get all sentimental, but… this place is what makes the Village the Village. Characters. Photos on the wall. Impenetrable accents. Smiles. Frowns. Honest opinions. Jokes about current affairs. I often hear big statements about how«New York ain’t what it used to be»… but I think it’s like an itinerary that you have to put together yourself. For me it’s Tatyana, the Moroccan wine store down the road, the Stulman crowd, the Sicilian restaurant in Brooklyn that only speaks Sicilian, 8th street wine cellar, the Vanguard… Point being: it’s there. You just have to look for it. New York ain’t dead, it’s just hiding under the sheets playing peek-a-boo.

i can’t believe no one’s reviewed this place! it’s amazing. a little expensive, but i’m always willing to pay more money if they don’t mess up my clothes. i actually find my clothes look better than they did when i first bought them when i pick them up. it’s a dry cleaning miracle. they got gross gum out of a pink wool jacket and restored a cream silk dress that was worn in a downpour.
