THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT THE CORNER…
My partner and I relocated to NYC from London in July 2013. We literally went in every luxury building in Manhattan! As we were newbies we wanted an amenities building to make the transition easier for us. We viewed a studio at the Corner which was more than we wanted to pay but the finish & appliances were top notch (BOSCH W/​D) so we thought it was worth it.
8 months in, due to me also finding employment, we decided we would like to upgrade to a 1 bedroom. We did our due diligence and looked around for a better deal. We knew that we wanted to stay in the neighborhood so contacted a couple of brokers who showed us some newly built/​renovated buildings. In total we looked at 8 other rental buildings and none could offer us anything better than what we had. Plus it’s not just about the amenities, apartment or location… there really is a unique vibe to this building. One we didn’t feel anywhere else.
SO we move to a 1 bedroom apartment on the floor below in a couple of weeks and we couldn’t be happier. The management and staff are ridiculously helpful, you feel like you are in a 5* hotel. Many of our friends have celebrated their Birthday’s here on the rooftop because its so good.
If you can afford it then you wont find anything better on the UWS, I promise you!

I can’t believe I’m reviewing an apartment building but I am! I was visiting NYC for a few days and stayed at the Corner, where a family member lives. Each time I left or returned, they made me feel so special. They asked my name the first time I entered, and each time I would enter or leave they would greet me with my name.
The building was immaculately clean, well maintained, and the correct temperature. The location couldn’t be better — right across the street from a subway stop; right next door to multiple grocery stores, drug stores, and restaurants; and the amenities included were very special for New York. They offer washer/​dryer in the units, breakfast served each morning, a well stocked exercise room, a beautiful roof top terrace, and more.
I’m very glad my relatives chose to live at The Corner. It’s a wonderful place.
