Petit déjeuner typiquement américain œuf bacon pancakes. Très très correct. Bön service. Café à volonté.

I recommend paying in cash here because I paid with a credit card and my 2 dollar tip turned into a 4 dollar tip per my bank statement!

We had a very pleasant experience here. The menu had everything, including breakfast, lunch and fabulous liquor drinks. The diner was clean and the wait staff was very friendly. The food came very quick and it was delicious. Will definitely go again

Quick, efficient service, great prices given the location, and super food. The hash and eggs were delish. Potatoes a bit bland but easily fixed with provided condiments. Will return.

wandering around hells kitchen looking for a late night brenner to satisfy my sweet tooth, i stumbled on this diner. off the bat, lighting, upholstery and cleanliness are stand out over other diners in hells. and theres a good mox of people of all ages and walks of life — group project meetings, seniors, cop and late night Unilocalers like me. i think that not being 24⁄7 is better for diners in the city. people get tired and dgaf late in the city, they need to go home and sleep. it isnt a diner culture like jersey, so theres no larger reason to try. ordered french toast with vanilla ice cream. bread was light thick and fluffy. a little light on salt but thats ok. ice cream was sweet but too creamy, nice. and a clean presentation. IG worthy. but not 5 stars, because true diner greatness is about that nomtastic satisfaction. a late night craving that makes you happy. the ending to a story about a great night out. this place is worthy, but it leaves something to be desired.

When you want to have cawffee talk with your friends but everyone comes from different parts of the city, it’s good to find a mid point where it’ll be convenient for everyone. This is the place for us. We’ve came here a few times to eat and drink coffee. The coffee is so so. It can improve just a bit. The menu is very extensive. I usually order the turkey burger deluxe. It comes with fries but one time I was able to switched it up and get the onion rings instead. I usually stick with savory items but their sweet breakfast items look good too… I’m talking about you, waffle. Maybe next time. I like to call out meetings the«Weekly/Bi-weekly/Month Emotional Support Group Meeting.» It’s great to have friends where you can just sit and talk with.

It’s a typical diner. I would have given it 4 stars, but the servers are a bit aloof and it contributes to a «meh» experience when the food is already unexciting. I did order an omelet that mysteriously had stuff I didn’t order in it though, caveat emptor.

Very clean ! Spotless in fact. Normal diner food — very good ! Friendly and prompt. Close to the tourist action but still good. Great food.

Great place, massive menu! Friends recommended his and we found it by chance, busy place with a mix of people, nice servers and smart appearance. We had a lunch, burger with Greek salad and french toast with bacon. Food arrived quickly and refill sodas were as they should be. We both had a dessert, cheesecake and tiramisu and these were both really good. They have their pies/cakes on display and I happy with our choice.

Busy diner but good food and they get the line moving quick. I don’t like these 50 line reviews. So it’s a basic city diner w good food and attentive staff.

Since market diner closed I have been on the hunt for a new one. I’ve been to Westway many times however Market was always the go to. Tonight I ordered delivery. Everything was perfect and packaged nicely. Delivery came quickly, about 30 minutes. One item which I noticed on the menu and we ordered was the French dip sandwich. Most diners do not have this so it was a treat to see! It was also very tasty! I got breakfast for dinner, eggs were cooked perfect(medium) and the special instructions that I noted for crispy bacon were followed. One thing, I wish the bread pudding was warm. I walk by this place daily and it’s always packed. Over the summer they spent a lot of money redecorating/updating, I will say it looks very nice. I have zero complaints and will definitely be ordering again soon.

Came here for Thanksgiving lunch, they were very crowded but we were seated pretty quickly. Food was hot and delicious with huge portions. My roasted chicken was a little dry but good the same, sides were great. Got apple crumb pie for dessert which I thought would be warm or at least not cold. It was still good! Servers were in a hurry and brisque but I prefer that sometimes!

A great place, with super-reasonable prices, delicious food and even CHOCOLATEPUDDING — an item that used to be forever part of every NYC diner’s menu — until it totally disappeared from every place but THIS one — please please do not discontinue it, and keep it on the menu eternally! Love the Westway Diner!!! Best eatery in town!!! Number One!!!

This does exactly what it says on the tin. The menu is huge and bursting with variety. Staff are really friendly and service time is good. Reasonably priced and so close to Time Square. May even go back today!

I love Westway so much. I think it is something about being Jewish and diners being basically a part of the religion. The food is diner fare but it is much more than that. Everything is great and the ambiance is definitely nostalgic. This diner has everything you could want from burgers to milkshakes to Greek food, Mexican food and some Italian specialties. I can get something different everytime I get here, and each time it is great. The thing is that the wait staff is hit or miss. I asked to make a change on an appetizer and the waiter was kind of rude when he told me it couldn’t be done. My parents love to take me here almost everytime they are in the city. I love their tuna melts and the Chicken twister wrap more than anything but everything is great. The stuffed tomato or stuffed avocado is always a delicious option too! The only complaint is that the waiters don’t really… care, I guess? They don’t make a connection, they don’t introduce themselves. But I guess that is to be expected from a diner? I don’t know. We have a favorite waitress at Market Diner because she is so personable and maybe that spoiled me for all other diners.

This place is cool. It’s not the best food in the city to choose from, but for what it is, it’s pretty good. Being on 9th Ave, this place can get a weird crowd, but if you’re ready for a laugh, this is your place.

CLASSICAMERICANDINER! Coming here not knowing anything of the place turned into a very good start of the day. The place is great, could not find anything bad to say. Let me start by saying that even though the place was packed the service was super fast, my order arrived in under 5 min. and my bloody Mary arrived in 90 seconds flat. As for my order. .I got the challah bread french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage(like I said, 5 min delivery in packed place… impressive). Everything tasted like good diner food and without the drink would have only been 11bucks which is very impressive for Manhattan. Aside from that… the waitress was very friendly and the place was clean. Better than expected!

According to , «The self-proclaimed number one diner in Manhattan and birthplace of the popular television sitcom Seinfeld, this place offers the entire spectrum of diner grub – milkshakes, hamburgers, deli sandwiches, French fries, simply the works. Certain to please the most finicky of kids!» Oh my, I don’t know where to start. Everything here was on point! Just off the bat, they’re outdoor seating area was fantastic and a great option! We sat inside however, in their 50s style booth. My coworker mentioned how comfy they were. Ambience for sure is nostalgic to diner feel, but yet very upgraded and very modern. It was also very clean. It was just so nice inside. Our waitress, man. she was AWESOME! She reminded me of my «Yeta» when I was a kid. She could read me like a book. I ordered Challah French Toast and while I couldn’t make a decision whether to order bacon or their homemade sausage, she said, «Bacon,» but later gave me both. She said, «I knew you wanted both!» Man… was that cool or what? My coworker had his California omelet which he even said, «Man… this was the best breakfast I’ve had in years and service is on point!!» And believe me, he’s from Florida! Hahaha… If you’re looking for a SOLIDAMERICANDINER, you have to come Westway Diner. They have EXCELLENT food, and EXCELLENT customer service! Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

An old friend and I visited Westway Diner for breakfast this Tuesday. We both had the Challah French Toast.(I had mine with a sliced banana on top.) It was quite good. Tiny suggestion: it was served with individual packets of syrup and little butter packets. The management should consider stepping this aspect up a notch.

This place has great diner food and, no, that’s not an oxymoron. Great diners are really few and far between but this place is terrific. Nope, it ain’t haute cuisine, but if you want the basics: BLT, Club, Eggs and Bacon, wide variety of salads, etc., etc. this is the place for you — just discovered this eatery and I’ve had three straight lunches here, each better than one before! With fast, friendly service and reasonable prices look no further than Westway — and judging from how packed it’s been every visit apparently the secret is out!!!

Canned or frozen spinach on Eggs Florentine? Hollandaise sauce that probably came out of a tube? Gross! Coffee is decent. Service is mediocre. Ambiance is acceptable diner, not grimy or dirty, clean and acceptable. Probably won’t be back intentionally but if I was stuck in a pinch for a quick bite I would *maybe* return. But with lots of other good options in the neighborhood it is unlikely.

After our long trip to New York all we wanted to do was eat. We checked in to our hotel about 7 in the morning and the front desk recommended this place. It was a couple block from where we were at so we have it a shot. It was a little dinner that I thought was going to be cool and delicious but I was wrong. The service was ok, no one really came by to check on us. The food was just ok as well. Nothing blew my mind nor my wife’s and there was really nothing we had that would make us want to go back. I had the eggs, sausage and pancakes. My wife had a ham and egg«wrap» also known as a burrito. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, who knows oh and what I didn’t like is when you get your pancakes they give you packaged syrup it should have been like all other dinners in a glass container.

The Westway Diner has undergone a renovation since I was here the last time. The set up is basically the same but everything has been refurbished. I was to meet a friend there but she never showed-it was early on a Sunday morning. I got eggs with bacon, toast and this comes with a small juice and hash browns. The waiter’s name was Spiro and he wss very accommodating. I would recommend and return.

Guter, solider, klassischer Diner ohne viel Schnickschnack. Ganz nett.
