Purchased a new phone on the 3rd of July through store manager, Viktor. Signed a contract stating I could return it within 15 days if I was not happy. I decided I was not happy because in the store, when I asked him what price the product was online I was lied to, and told that it was the same price, when it fact online it was $ 70 cheaper. Also, Viktor had lied to me about a reactivation fee that Verizon charges when purchasing a phone online, which doesn’t exist. Next day, when I went in to return my phone, Viktor was not there and I was told that I was unable to return my phone without the manager present. Because it is just a retailer, I could not return the phone anywhere else. This violates the return within 15 days contract. I was within 24 hours of my purchase, I should have been able to return my product without having an issue. When I expressed my concern, this retailer tried unsuccessfully to reach any manager, and I will now have to wait a week to return my phone because I was going out of town, which pushes me closer to my 15 day contract. My concern is that this could have easily happened on my 15th day, and I would be unable to get a refund because of the store’s incompetence. Also, on every single detail of this transaction, every employee seemed to have different information. This is a new branch only concerned with getting your money(obviously), and they really will resort to downright lying to you to make a sale. Also, every employee seems to just be completely incompetent, with the manager Viktor being the worst of them all.
