Ordered delivery from here so that is the only thing I can comment on. First of all this place delivered super fast. I am not sure if they gave me a pizza that was cancelled and they redirected it to me because i ordered the same thing.
Let’s comment on the pizza. I got a grandma slice that was pretty good id say. The crust is thin but doughy. Sauce I thought was good. Cheese good. I ate half the pizza in one sitting.
I will probably order from here again. This area doesn’t have as good pizza as other neighborhoods so what you’re getting here is an above average pizza for the area.

Honestly the UES is terrible for pizza, but Zesty’s is pretty damn good. All there slices are very good, especially the buffalo chicken. Panini’s are also great. Chicken parm is very underwhelming though. There is no other pizza place I would recommend up here that I’ve been to.

The pizza is good, but don’t go more than two hours prior to closing. You may not get the best pickings of pizza. I arrived 10:20pm (they close at 12am) and I basically had to chose what was available. My suggestion is get there early if you are choosy about your toppings. The workers were ready to go, again it was an hour and a half before closing and I couldn’t enjoy the pizza because they started cleaning and the smell of the cleaning products was stifling.

So happy that they’re back! When Frank’s pizza place closed and Zesty’s closed around the same time about a year and half ago, I’d stopped eating pizza in the neighborhood. Now that Zesty’s is back, I’m glad there’s good pizza around again. Since they’ve been in their new spot, I haven’t tried any of their pasta dishes or sandwiches yet, but I’m sure they’re good.

Avoid the aggravation and do go or order from here! I used to love them at their old location. Don’t be fooled. This is not the same place. I ordered 3 chicken rolls for pickup. I got home with 2 chicken rolls and what appeared to be eggplant. I called and was told another would be sent. After an hour and a half and no delivery I called back. Three different people got on the phone. I got nothing but angry. Even the chicken rolls we did get were lousy.

Horrible neighbors. Ventilation system disturbs neighbors 24⁄7. Noise exceeds the legal limit. Boycott this place. They are rude and don’t give a damn about being a good neighbor.

I ordered delivery from Zesty the other day, and was pleasantly surprised. They are possibly the best classic NY pizza option in Yorkville (see also: newbie G&J, Italian Village, and Pizza Boss). I must do some more taste tests of course.
The crust itself is thin and soft, and the end crust is exceptionally large and puffy. I really liked the quality of the pepperoni, and how it crisped up nicely. Finally, Zesty was not overly greasy or salty, but instead relied on strong flavor to make their pizza sing. I’ll definitely order from here again soon.

The staff here are very friendly and remember who you are if you go there enough (guilty as charged).
I enjoy a slice of pizza here every other week or so. They make a mean slice of buffalo chicken (has ranch drizzles on top). The salad is also good, fresh, and grilled chicken (2 breasts) are placed right on top right off the grill.
They also offer hot food to an extent and pasta. The pasta will keep you for at least 2 meals.

Tried to order take-​out, guy behind counter had a hard time understanding English
After agreeing to wait for a fresh pizza, one came out, but was given to someone else. Meanwhile Our other slice got cold, and the guy that took our order just disappeared.
Asked to wAit again, but didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes, for another screwup,
so we left!

Can’t comment on food, since we never got it. But service was horrendous ! Will not return!

I used to go to Roma’s for my pizza. But after trying out this place, I’m pretty sure this is my new spot! I bought a pizza roll and grandma slice and I loved every bit of it. The pizza had the right amount of crispness and chewiness, definitely recommend!

I was just passing by on 3rd Av and decided to stop by for a slice of pepperoni pizza and i was not disappointed. Loved the pizza, the crust was perfectly done and the cheese was just the way i like it. Gonna keep coming back here, while i am in New York.

Just went to Zesty’s. Same staff. Great new location with tons of space, and a major redeisgn. Good for a late night pizza date, a group dinner, a morning breakfast sandwich and coffee or takeout.
We had two egg sandwiches and coffee and they were fresh and delish. We sat outside in the back. There Is only one table now but hoping they add more. Would be a relaxing place to read or study.

GREAT NEWS!!! Zesty’s is re-​opening at 1670 Third Avenue (between East 93rd St. and East 94th St.) — just one block south of it’s original location. I have been a customer of Zesty’s since they opened (over 30 years ago). A developer bought several of the buildings where Zesty previously was and demolished it! I am thrilled that Zesty is back in the neighborhood so I can enjoy their delicious food again! Sooo happy! Welcome back to the ‘hood. YAY! Hello great pizza again!
Nice new clean place. Pizza remains very good & other menu items with great selection. Very clean with reasonable prices. Adequate seating. Outside seating in warm weather in back area. Good neighborhood option.
