Went here to get a shawl for my wedding dress on a Tuesday at 1in the afternoon and no one was there and no one answered the phone. I drove up here from Santa Clara and I M very disappointed.

Lolita is super nice! She helped me as soon as I walked in. I needed to get fitted for a tux for a wedding and it was quick and easy.
April Rose is a great place for tux rentals. They have a good selection and even have designer tuxes. So if you tryin to ball out, definitely come here.

Today we went to April Rose gowns and tuxedos. Absolutely LOVE this store. Lolita is awesome. She has great customer service. The store is fully stocked with great selection of gowns. Her prices are hard to beat!!! She has something for every budget. Would highly recommend them for your next formal event

Just picked up my prom dress from April Rose! I was very picky with what I wanted, but Lolita allowed me to look through the catalogs to find the dress I was looking for! I was very doubtful since fuchsia is a difficult color, but I found the perfect dress in the catalog! Lolita ordered the dress and it shipped in within the same week! I tried on the dress and it fit like a glove. It was quick and easy and inexpensive. I’m very pleased with my purchase and I’m considering going back to order a dress for my 18th birthday!

I have a wedding coming up fairly soon, and my friend and I came all the way from San Francisco to look for a wedding dress here at April Rose in Newark, CA!
The store owner Lolita is the sweetest! The moment you walk in the store, you are welcomed by her beautiful face and personality!
Best believe I found my wedding dress here at April Rose. Now, it’s not just any wedding dress, but my DREAM dress — Alfred Angelo’s Disney Collection’s Snow White! It has been my dream dress for years and without even mentioning it to Lolita, that was the first (and only) dress she picked out for me from the bountiful racks of dresses. The dress was meant to be, as was April Rose!
Thank you Lolita for your superstar customer service and good taste. I will definitely be returning for future occasions and recommend April Rose to anyone and everyone! :)

The store owner Lolita is the sweetest! I love coming here because Lolita is so friendly. She takes the time to help you find your perfect dress. She also gives her honest opinion which is so helpful when shopping alone. I was looking for two prom dresses and Lolita let me order straight from the prom catalog so even if she doesn’t have a dress in the store, she can help you get it. My order came in only two days! She made sure that no one else from my school ordered the same dress. The dresses I bought were $ 200-​$ 250 but it’s worth the price for the customer service and quality. I was so stressed about prom dresses but Lolita helped me a ton and buying from her was a breeze! I’m so satisfied with my dresses and I’ll definitely be back!

I love Lolita!!! I purchased 5 bridesmaids dresses from her. Although I couldn’t see the actual color but I was able to see what the dress looked like in a different color. The dresses were beautiful and they were extremely affordable. Lolita ordered the dresses and I was able to get the dresses within the week.
I came back today to purchase a secondary dress for my first dance and I’m very satisfied with her selection. She is very honest in her opinion and was not pushy unlike some stores that I have been too. Thanks Lolita!!! I will definitely come back again.

Just went to this place to help my neice find her dress for Junior prom. We came in 10 minutes to 5pm (her closing time) and she still allowed us in. Lolita was very helpful and gave her honest opinion on the dresses my neice wanted to try on. She actively looked around her store to help find selections she thought would best work for my neices body type. Lolita is funny and made us feel welcomed.
There is a huge selection of samples in her store compared to the others in the area and it’s way more spacious which provides a comfortable shopping experience. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because this place only takes cash (for now). We left very satisfied with our purchase. THANK YOU LOLITA

The dresses are beautiful. The store has a different array of colors and styles. After looking for weeks for a dress I stopped by in here just to look around and in less than half an hour, I had found my dress. I love it and can’t wait for Prom to wear it.
