My favorite coffee place on Main Street. The staff is always nice and they have a large variety of options as far as coffee goes. They serve food as well, I had one of the sandwiches and thought it was just okay. Coffee is always great.

Sometime in the late summer, Brew Ha Ha began using their own beans for cappuccino, Café Americano etc, and it really went downhill for me. Their house bean has an unsophisticated chicory aftertaste that’s like Dunkin, and I miss their previous beans. They still have great salads and sandwiches, but given their name, I’d say there are better cups of Joe to be had(not many in Newark, DE though).

Great pastries, good coffee but specialty/espresso drinks are very inconsistent. I’ve had my best and worst cappuccino here. There’s only one guy who knows how to make a proper micro foam. I don’t mind paying a little extra for a properly made cappuccino, but what I received looked more like soap suds than an enticing espresso. I hope things change.

Great nonfat latte. Dark, complex, and strong(only 2 shots come in a large but that’s enough). Milk steamed to the right amount. Drink came out very fast. Hard to find the place(upstairs in the market building away from Main Street towards the back. I wanted to go back for a second cup three hours later but they were closed by then.

Great place, super sandwiches(my fav is the meadowood) hands down. The espresso is very nice every time and the baristas are super friendly. Best coffee on Main Street for sure.

I love Brew HaHa maybe as much as I love puppies. Fabulously delicious coffee, AMAZING and cozy atmosphere, a constant variety of specials and new flavor combinations of lattes to try, pretty great food and bagel sandwiches, and an all around great vibe. I’m also a huge sucker for coffee houses that give you REALDISHES and real silverware and mugs that make you feel like you’re at home, it is just the best touch and nothing is better than sitting in front of a fire with a mug full of your favorite latte talking to friends about life etc. Also I’m from Maryland– meaning I am intimately familiar with baller Maryland crab soup, and am hesitant to order this is any state other than my beautiful beautiful home state. Even though it’s just over the line into Delaware, I was still nervous to try it here– and I was pleasantly surprised! A coffee shop with great soup– all they need is wine and it will be a place full of my three favorite things

The food, coffee, and atmosphere are really nice in this place. Definitely a great place to get a coffee and study. I’ve gotten food only a few times here, but I’m starting to get it more often. A friend suggested the Florentine, and I must say, it makes my penis the opposite of soft. I personally get it on the red pepper, cheddar, and scallion biscuit(that alone sounds baller), but I also get it with chorizo sausage. It’s more of a breakfast sandwich but they serve it til 2ish. It has a jam on it that is pretty solid. I’ve devoured the turkey sandwich once. Didn’t regret it. The coffee there is good too. I normally get a brewski(red eye) or an americano with salted caramel flavoring. Shit’s decent. My only beef with this place is the lack of outlets. They have a bar area with a large surge protector but the chairs are bar stools with no backs. Other than that, there is only like two other tables with an outlet nearby. Busch league.

I think this place provides a great space for college students to either do some light studying or to hang out with buddies. However, I thought their beverage was on the expensive side. Also, my café au lait was so bland that it almost tasted like regular coffee.

Coffee for people who like coffee, and«coffee» for people who don’t like coffee. Sandwiches, smoothies, pastries, etc are fresh and delicious. Great study environment, or just a good place to hang out.

Went here for a coffee and to study. I was looking forward to a better view other than the back of a parking lot, but it was still a cool atmosphere. I got the American Cappuccino and my fiancé got the chai tea. My cappuccino was alright, but his chai was pretty good. If I come back again I will order the chai. I took off one point for my meh cappuccino, and I took off a point because the couch smelled like a sweaty armpit, and another because there were these two creepy homeless people lurking around behind us, and giving me some thirsty looks,(who both smelled awful… similarly to the couch). Once I put two and two together I got pretty annoyed. Then they both«went in the bathroom together.» There was some other sweaty dude on the couch across from us. He didn’t even buy a coffee, tea, or desert. Is this a homeless shelter, a holiday inn? Come on, that is disgusting. As an owner of a business why would you let unpaid customers sully the experience of paying ones, come on; and if your customers happen to smell awful, LYSOLTHEDAMNFURNITURE. I will definitely be going to another location of Brew-Haha to get a cup of their chai, or I am going to go to another coffee and tea place. But in this case, I will pass on going back here and risk getting a MRSA infection.

I’m not a big fan of this Coffee shop. Nothing about it is terribly objectionable but it’s not very interesting either. It is on the second-floor, very near to the U. Delaware campus. There is a patio but it overlooks a parking lot and isn’t particularly pleasant. The inside is nice, nicer than some places, but it is still rather sterile. The baked goods are not that exciting either. This is the sort of place where people go to get a cup of coffee and sit and be by themselves; not really my kind of place. It’s not really a center or hub for any interesting social activity, the way I think coffee shops should be. It’s a little less pretentious and more laid-back than Starbucks, but it’s not in a fundamentally different category or anything. Bottom line: this place is right across the street from Central Perk, which is my favorite coffee shop in Newark. Central Perk has better drinks, much better baked goods, more food and more variety, and a better view of the street, and the atmosphere is similar – if anything, a bit less sterile. I see no reason to go to this place when such an awesome place is right across the street.
