We came here to eat dinner. I like that they had a buffet with a variety of vegetarian options. The place was clean and had a jovial energy. Staff was friendly and spoke to me in Portuguese. My partner who ate with me said the meat was very good!!!

Buffett style Brazilian food, I usally start with a large salad which takes up most of my plate, then I add some rice and a whole bunch of Brazilian side dishes, I have no idea what they are, but everything here is delicious. Even after normal lunch hours. However here is the tip, skip the buffet meats and go straight to the rotisserie BBQ at the end. Some short ribs and sirloin steak straight off the fire pit. You might feel like taking a siesta after such a meal, but better order a double espresso and keep it moving.

Excellent choice if you have a hankering for Brazilian rodizio, but don’t want to spend $ 50 pp or so at one of the more formal spots in Newark. You pay by the pound, so you are only paying for what you eat, and you order it right from the grill. The picanha is amazing, with a perfect crust. The sausages are also really good. The salad bar is nothing special, so save room for the meat.

If your funds are low and you want to eat well! This a brazilian style buffet. You can bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the picanha(top sirloin) the frango(chicken legs — incredible), the linguisa(sausage), costella(beef ribs), and Peru com bacon(turkey breast wrapped w bacon) along with there vast hot & cold salad bar for a small price! You can’t beat it! With $ 20.00 you’ll feel like you’re BALL’Nnnn!

On June 13th, 2011 I went to eat at CEQUISABE. I usually eat there but not anymore! My rating on this place isn’t about the food, its about its staff members. A very homophobic staff!!! While there I heard some of the most absurd homophobic comments towards gay people. I could barely finish my meal and when I did I spoke with the manager of the restaurant, she denied hearing anything, she there next to them, impossible for her not to hear anything. For the manager to deny what had just happened and for her to tell me that she«can’t control what comes out of her employee’s mouth» was the most absurd thing! It only confirmed to me that she was in accordance with all that was said by her staff. The thing that struck me as odd was that their entire conversation was out in the main dinning room area, I was the only customer in there at the time but still… as a patron I should not have to listen to crap as I’m trying to enjoy a meal that I paid for. Maybe this kind of behavior is normal in Brazil. I myself am Brazilian born and raised here in the States. I’ve learned to respect other people’s rights to be whom they are, I appreciate the freedom that this country gives us AND maybe these people should leave their shitty mentality behind, the moment they decided to immigrate here. If you are GAY. be aware!!! this place is not gay friendly and these people should not be allowed to provide any type of service in an open to the«public» place. Thank you.

Ce Qui Sabe is a buffet-style Brazilian restaurant for which you pay by the pound. We first went to this place on a friend’s recommendation and we have gone back a number of times since. The place is not much on presentation but the food is really good. The buffet includes a standard salad bar and some prepared dishes(quite a lot of them in fact), but the real highlight is at the end of the line with a full BBQ selection, fresh off the grill. While there are a number of places in the Ironbound where you can get great Brazilian/Portuguese food on the cheap, this restaurant is a particular standout. It’s not quite at the Iberia or Forno’s level, but it’s pretty close and for about half the price of those higher-end places.
