There are several stations with different cuisines. They have breakfast in the morning and they offer Peet’s coffee which is nice. Even though they have a good variety of food, I never find anything I really want. The food is pretty bland and mass produced, but it’s fine if you’re left with no other alternative. The lines around lunch time are pretty bad. Everything just moves very slowly.

It’s always a treat whenever I have breakfast or lunch at this fabulous place. I love their food! It’s always fresh. Their pizzas are the best I ever tasted — it’s made to order and to perfection! The Café is very clean. The workers are very friendly and on top of their game. It’s a five star place for me!

I work in the complex. I’ve gotten sick from eating there not once, but twice! And I’m talking explosive diarrhea within the hour when I was perfectly healthy. Sorry for the TMI, but you should know. In addition to that, I choked on a wire twist-tie in my salad once too. Never again. Many who work with me have seen workers handling raw chicken, then serving food with the same hands.

Bland cafeteria food. Expensive. Small portions. So yeah, basically the worst option possible.

So I work near this hidden jewel. So many great options; some items are made fresh to order but over all the service and quality are great. My only issue is the coffee in the Peets coffee area isn’t what you would get at Peets.

It’s the corporate café for my company so I can here for convenience. And really for convenience only. The food is ok, but I’ve begun to get bored of it in the past few months and have found myself driving to nearby restaurants for lunch instead. Despite the constantly changing menu, the food always tastes the same. Eventually, the taste buds grow tiresome and the eyes begin wandering for new lunch venues to calm that afternoon hunger. The breakfast food is pretty good though. I love the breakfast burritos. And apparently they offer dinner now, though I have yet to try.

From all the«corporate“cafes I’ve been able to eat at in my career, I would rank Gateway café amongst the better ones. The price is fair, and they do have a great variety of food every week. A dish rarely repeats every week. My favorite so far is the Vietnamese beef stew with brown rice. The salad bar also has a great selection of items. From roasted vegetables, side salads to cage free eggs, there are many things that can put you over $ 10 mark once you weigh the sucker. One of the best things I had from the grill was the turkey burger with brie. That was great! The fresh made pizzas are also yummy. The variety they offer and decent prices prevents me from leaving work. I do thitnk the soups are on the pricier side though, at $ 2.75 for a small. Then again, I got used to my last corporate café offering soup for $ 1, so my vision of price may be distorted,

I like the Gateway café because it’s very convenient, the food is good and the price is cheaper than most places in the area. I feel like Dave(the manager) is doing a great job making sure the weekly menu is rotated and gets creative with the exhibition cooking and guest chefs. I don’t believe I have ever had the same item twice here. There’s definitely a variety of food for everyone. We have catered breakfasts and lunches at the café every month. They serve really good food here and it’s great if you’re in a hurry. The closest restaurant or strip mall is at least a 5 – 10 minute drive away and that’s if you own a car. Many people that work here do not. They recently upgraded their wifi in the south building. Free wifi is another great perk here.

Great place for breakfast or lunch, whether you are getting a tasty pre-made sandwich, having a daily special like a huge chicken burritto, or enjoying a Peet’s coffee at the coffee bar. Plenty of outdoor seating in a beautiful location and free WiFi make this an excellent location. Located in the Pacific Research Center office campus. Food service by Guckenheimer.
