I used to go to the Subway on Jarvis because I used to think that Subway was closest to my work. But I realized THIS location is closer and better. Everybody here is so nice! I’ve become a regular here because I stop by at least once a week and I order like the same thing every single time I come here lol. So much so that the lady Veronica remembers my order! I LOVE when places I eat at remember me and remembers what I usually order. It just makes it seem like they care about their customers. Veronica remembered I always order a 6 inch sub(usually between 3 sandwiches) and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup(yum!). I really like her service a lot, mostly because she interacts with the people that come in and always sounds happy. That’s a good quality to have in customer service and she’s done a wonderful job each time! I will always go to this location for lunch since they are so familiar with me now than the other one. And the other one never remembered who I was even though I came in ALL the time. But this one does!

I came here today on my lunch break and I had a coupon that stated«any footlong subs are $ 6» that was printed onto my receipt. So when I walked in, I asked him, «How does this coupon works? Can I pick any subs on the menu since it says I can?» He replied back me to saying, «Yes, you can pick any one.» I told him that I wanted the turkey bacon and avocados footlong sandwich. He told me that«that’s extras.» i said, «what’s extras?» He replied back«the bacon and avocados are extras.» I’m staying there and looking confused. Then, he pointed out at the extra menu and said, «see, those are extras.» I told him, «how is that extras? If it comes with the sandwich?» So i used an example«So, if I ordered the BLT(Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomatoes) the bacon will be extra since it’s already come with the sandwich! He kept replying back«that is exta.» So in my head I was really said«fuck this and I’m going to order another sandwich, since I didn’t want to deal with this bullshit. I paid for my last sandwich and I’m never going back there again because of this bullshit!

Always good, fresh veggies and fresh bread. Friendly service. The lady who is there in the morning is so sweet, and always smiling. This is probably the best Subway I have been to. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years, and never experienced an issue.

This place is cuh-rappy! Here’s my experience: I went to this subway shop and waited for 5+ minutes to be helped; the funny thing is that there were three employees there and only one guy in front of me. Finally, this girl comes over to help me and I order a 6″ roasted chicken on wheat. She asks and puts everything on it per my request… then come the condiments. I tell her mayo and mustard– then watch her put light mayonnaise and mustard on my sandwich. I’m a little perturbed, but not enough to cause a scene, even though I think light mayonnaise tastes awful. So I pay and sit down to eat my sandwich. As I’m eating my sandwich, I look at the advertisement on the table where I’m sitting and see that they have a daily deal for foot-long sandwiches for six dollars. I browse through the list and Son of a biscuit, it’s Wednesday and the deal is for a roasted chicken sandwich. Perhaps I overreacted by being angry, but I was seriously pissed off. Went up to the counter pointed out to the manager what an idiot she was and that I thought it was wrong. They continued to converse back-and-forth in some other language and the sandwich maker had the most ridiculously stupid look on her face… I could’ve smacked her. Now, I’m sorry I didn’t take the necessary 12 minutes to read the entire freaking menu so that I could realize the sandwich I was ordering– could’ve been doubled for $.45…but– Maybe that’s why she deserves to sit in a seven dollar an hour position… Because she can’t freaking engage her brain enough to let somebody know something so simple. There’s another subway less than a mile from here; therefor, I will never be back to this location.

Sandwich wasn’t created well, I opened it up and all ends of it were cut open, so I had a bun with pastrami and cheese, the other part was just veggies. It’s like one of those old microwaveable pizzas… Next subway I anticipate will properly fold my sammich

Thorton Ave. and Cedar Blvd. Brand new! Clean! Bright! The woman at the counter was friendly, conscientious and courteous. Definitely will go back.

They put meat on your sandwich then take 1 slice off. Cheap owners!!! I would not recommend this place. Go elsewhere!

This subway is literally right around the corner from my house yet it wasn’t til recently that i’ve started to come in for their sandwiches. It is definitely nicer and friendlier than I thought. On cold rainy days it’s nice and warm and when it’s a bit warmer outside it is nice and cool. The restaurant is relatively clean and so are their restrooms. The majority of the time I’ve been helped by an adult indian female but I have also seen an gentlemen and a young hispanic young lady; all very nice. Their bread is always fresh and so are their veggies and meats, their chips are always well stocked and their soda fountain always working properly. Wish they had coke zero as an option on their fountain but diet coke is just as good. One thing that sorta sucks is that there’s always only just one person on duty and if you get there when there’s a few people ahead of you, you are looking at having to wait a while before getting your sandwich. I suppose that location doesn’t get as much traffic to afford a second person but that’s the only con that i’ve experienced so far.

I work near this location and I have to say they know my order when I walk in. They are clean and friendly! I get a tuna salad and they aren’t shy with the veggies. They now do a chopped salad and it’s the greatest!!! These ladies rock!

So I read the few reviews before placing my order. It was a little annoying that I couldn’t order the turkey as my $ 5 foot long. so I minimized my meal for the trouble(wasn’t too hungry anyway). Anywho, I order my meal and the lady who took my order was super nice! She prepared my meal with no attitude and no hesitation and even had good conversation to share while completing my order. Yeah, it does suck that I couldn’t get my $ 5 foot long as I had originally wanted but the fact that the server was extremely nice and talkative made up for that. Customer service and a smile(a real smile) goes a long way when it comes to me and the places I shop/dine at. I wouldn’t mind coming back again. even though they only have 5 choices of the $ 5 foot long(hahahahaha that was my only complaint-hella greedy!).

I walk into subway to purchase the advertised $ 5 footlong, to find out they only sell 8 sandwiches for $ 5, which doesn’t include turkey or roast beef? I purchase a ham sandwich for my daughter and the owners son charges me an extra $.25 because I requested the sandwich toasted??? I said I’ve never been charged before and no other subway charges to get it toasted, he said it was for tax purposes and if I knew anything about the law they have to charge to toast the sandwich. I then informed the little fellow that I not only knew about taxed and untaxed items because of my job, but that would be the last sandwich I would be purchasing from that store! A few days later I went to the Subway on Jarvis and they had all $ 5 footlongs available and they didn’t charge to toast the sandwich!

I used to live in Newark, and this was one of the places I could walk to for a quick and healthy meal. The people who owned it then were friendly and courteous. I moved to Fremont, and just last week stopped by to have my usual. I pointed out that the pastrami was listed with the $ 5 footlongs, but could not get the«owner/manager» to understand that if he didn’t want to sell it as a $ 5 footlong, he should remove it from that list and just have it on the ‘specialty’ sandwich board as it was there also. He began yelling at me! I won’t be going back. I have another Subway I can walk to from my new place, they are way friendlier.
