Delaware has become the symbol of mediocrity when it comes to finding good Indian food. This restaurant adds to the mediocrity. Tried Pakoda and was stale and overcooked

They are new, their food is delicious, very friendly hospitable guys, gonna be my favorite for long time to come now… one request to tavva… take it easy on the salt on chicken fried rice, eveything else is great and spicy!

Cons: Rice and naan were inedible. Saag panner looked and tasted like spinach placed in a blender with cheese cubes added. Chicken korma tasted frozen and reheated via microwave. Pros: The only thing edible was a veggie somosa we got as an appetizer.

I needed to grab something quick to eat in my car, so I opted for the chicken kati roll. It was super portable – basically an indian burrito. It came with a cilantro sauce, which was pretty delicious. The guy working was friendly. If you’re on Main Street and craving indian food, it’s a much better choice than the other place.

The food was delicious, service was very personal and helpful, but not too invasive. I have had Indian cuisine at many different restaurants in the past, and this is easily the best. The biggest difference here is not only the quality of the food but the fact that the food is made to order and with a high amount of personalization available; ask for something and they will make it happen. Everything here is amazing, and you are cheating yourself out of a fantastic meal and experience by not choosing to go to this delicious hole in the wall.

Good food for this incredibly sparse dive. Appetizers are worth the visit, but the MSG in the curries was too much for me to handle. Dive is probably a bit of a stretch, its more of a «vacancy». As you walk past, you see just a few cheap tables all usually empty(well, its new. right!?). It’s clean at least. We ended up here when the Korean place filled up, and didn’t want to fight for pub fare on a Friday night. The tables rocked back and forth, and the chairs were even worse as the padding did not protect from the metal frame. We quickly ordered Samosa and Onion Pakora, as we were starving. Bomb. Bomb. Both were incredibly good, which caused us to order a Samosa Chat and a chicken kati roll. Bomb. Bomb. We fought over the last of the Samosa Chat when it arrived, strongly recommend, and divvied up the Kati roll democratically. Then even more food arrived(we must have been hungry when we ordered). Dal curry, very good. Kadai chicken curry(ordered hot), really good and really hot. But caution, this has a very strong spice mixture. Gobi Manchuria, ordered wet. There was debate on this one, but I completely approve. The cauliflower is deep fried in batter, like Chinese sweet and sour chicken, then topped with a sweet and sour and hot curry sauce. All dishes came with really nice cumin infused basmati rice, also very well prepared. Finally, I had no idea we ordered so much food, there was also a paratha. It was a large skillet sized pancake with potato inside. This was really really good. When we got home, the MSG hit like a ton of bricks. It must have been laden with it. I confirmed with the leftovers the next day, serious mind cloud. I’m north barely, this is a serious roadblock for my return Downsides: Only veggies and chicken on the menu. No beer. Dining in is weird. Afterwards, we were hit with MSG sluggishness and such. I recommend picking up a six-pack and ordering take-out, sticking with the appetizers. You easily fill up on a samosa and kati roll and be satisfied for $ 10.

Good: — Chicken biryani. By mistake it came out«spicy» instead of «medium». It was still great, though, and if this were the only dish I tried I’d raise my rating to 4 stars. — Mango lassi. A bit pricey for the portion but tangy, sweet, and mango-ey. Mediocre: — Channa masala. By mistake it came out«medium»(see above). Flavorless compared to the chicken dish. Heat-wise, I doubt this would be considered even«mild» in India. — Chai. It’s clearly authentic(very different from a «chai latte» you’d order at an American coffee shop) but seemed thin and watery. Disappointing after drinking strong, creamy chai on the street in Malaysia — admittedly it could just be a different style. Bad: — Naan. Easily the worst I’ve had: chewy and stale, without any crispiness on the outside. It blows my mind that real Indians are serving this. If you want authentic food, I’d recommend ordering at least«spicy» — or, you could even ask for«authentically spicy», which the waiter said they could do although it’s not presented as a normal option. The service was a little slow. We showed up 8 minutes after the opening time and there was still a «closed» sign up. Had to knock to get in, and even though we were the only customers, the food still took 20 minutes. So come when you’re not in a hurry!

They’re brand new so the place looks a little empty, but the service was great and the food was really tasty! Definitely recommend getting a mango lassi; it helps with the spice level which was a little high.
