Let’s start out by recognizing that this is an all-you-can-eat buffet with Chinese food next to sushi next to American pizza and fried chicken. Manage your expectations. For $ 12.00, you get to eat everything there, but there isn’t much in terms of flavors. The sushi was all bland. They had a wide variety of rolls that tasted exactly the same. The sesame chicken didn’t taste like much, let alone sesame chicken. The hibachi grill was fun in that you got to pick all of your ingredients and hand it to the chef. It was then that I realized the food is only going to taste like the condiments you eat it with. My friends liked the doughnuts and ice cream, which they put into the center of the doughnuts. The sesame balls were actually pretty good as well. Main Point: Go here for copious amounts of cheap food. If you want good sushi or Chinese food, you’re going to have to go somewhere else and pay regular prices.

Just tried the Flamingo Grill & Buffet on rt 300 in Newburgh and I was very impressed. I am a Sushi lover and it was very fresh here. The surprising part was how affordable it was. I highly reccomend eating here!!!

Good value. Variety. Not much else to say. Everything is edible but nothing is memorable.

What a great buffet! I came here on a Sunday when they have the all day deal for $ 11.99. The food was tasty and had not been sitting out all day. They had a great variety of food and you never had to wait long for a food tray to be replenished. On the day of my visit they even had sushi as a part of the buffet deal! There was also a hibachi line separate from the buffet. It appears as though the waiting staff there did not speak much English but it did not really affect the service since you serve yourself.

I have eaten here four times and it has been fairly ok! I am a long haul trucker and I eat this kind of buffet all over the county and this is smack dab fair to midland! A-yup I say it is good for the price. The sushi is not worth eating but the rest is pretty dam ok.

This restaurant is a buffet restaurant. The food was mediocre quality, and the selection is pretty good. HOwever there’s no crab legs. Instead, they have some lobster parts which were chopped up and in flour and sauce. These are not good at all. Don’t take them. The lobster meat inside are not good for consumption. I guess they just bought some cheap stale dead lobster really cheap and cooked them up. The meat was stale and overcooked. What I dislike most, is that it’s way way way too crowded. There are so many people eating there it’s like a giant dinning hall, with all sorts of noises and you can barely hear yourself if you don’t speak up. This takes away all the pleasure of eating out. Maybe I’m too picky for a buffet place where people should behave like hungry pigs.

I love this place. There is a great selection of food for a really good price. One time, some lady was so excited to get the Italian shrimp that was she was sweating. Other than that, it’s pretty awesome.

I’ve been here several times and my girlfriend and I loved it. The past 2 experiences especially tonight’s in particular will ensure that I or ANYONE I know will know not too waste their hard earned money on the food after 7:30pm. I am a chef and I understand buffet services, but tonight’s food was disgusting. They close @ 9:30 but nearly all the food trays we’re completely empty, cold and not eye appealing! We got sat in a section by ourselves where all the employees were eating their meals that were piping hot and extremely fresh and beautifully plated up. Service was horrible and it took ten minutes to get refills on our drinks when there was literally 10 staff members sitting in our section eating, talking or playing on their phone’s. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. Sorry flaming grill you’re about to lose a lot of great customers all from the SERVICEINDUSTRY!

The four of us had the typical buffet they have a great selection of hot and cold items which to choose from. They cleaned the dishes in a timely manner. My grand daughter seem to be happy with the different types of items that they offer. She is 14 months old. the sushi bar seemed to be well stocked. Try it with a coupon.

Second time here all the food is very fresh And they have an over 250 choices to choose from, in addition they can cook to order on the Habachi grill. From meat to fish to poultry with all the fixings and choice of sauces and oriental vegetables. As always the food tastes best when just off the grill. You can’t go wrong. In addition if you download their app, you can get upto 15% off you Bill!

Traveling down the state and passed by Newburgh. It was dinner time and got my fiancé’s cousin with us, a hungry teenager. We looked at the mixed review and hopes for the best. And surprise! It was very good for the price! They indeed have a great selection of food, American, Chinese, Mongolian grill, self-curving station, and a make-right-there sushi section. They also have a great selection of seafood, including raw oyster and cherry clams, crab, fried lobster, baked salmon, and even clayfish. Certainly worth waking around once before digging in, and remember to check out the Mongolian grill in the back! The food quality is good. Less of gourmet but quite acceptable and fresh. The staff is helpful and respectful, and even have the crab cracking tool on hand for the crab. They don’t have a soft-served ice cream machine but I am satisfied with their cream puffs and fruits. Again, pretty good for a buffet with an affordable price!

When we arrived we had no clue what kind of buffet it was… had no idea it was an Asian/american cuisine. The inside was very clean, spacious as well as having a wide variety of food to choose from. However, upon entering we were greeted by the hostess who was chewing food, with her mouth open as well as speaking to us while she was chewing. If that wasn’t enough, the music that was playing was rap music, complete with an abundance of curse words. Thankfully my children were not present. The food was decent, and our waitress was so sweet and very clean. As far as the hostess and the music, it was highly unprofessional.

I have come here many times since it opened but it is becoming increasingly harder to justify coming back. Too many of the premium entrees(lobster, crab, etc) are unavailable for long stretches of time. Even when they finally bring these items out, it is in smaller amounts and disappear immediately. This problem seems to be more prevalent now then when they opened. Also too many dishes are overcooked and dry.

A $ 12 all you can eat buffet? My expectations were really low but I was pretty happy with the selection. I liked the Mongolian BBQ and the ample supply of shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised I was even able to get some lobster tails. I easily ate my money’s worth of lobster and shrimp. I can happily report I’ve had no stomach issues since eating here. The sushi wasn’t impressive by any means. The fish looked like it was farm raised, previously frozen. The salmon was pale. However, there were no indications it was spoiled so at least it has that going for it. I didn’t expect decent sushi at a $ 12 buffet. Check your circular for coupons.

As buffets go, I give this 4 stars. The atmosphere is very bright, pretty, and clean. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. The food selection is the best I’ve seen at an Asian buffet. They have a wide variety of meat and seafood dishes at dinner time(I’ve yet to visit during lunch). They have a very fresh sushi bar, hibachi bar, and dessert bar. I was particularly impressed with the dessert, which featured a chocolate fondue fountain, a freezer full of different Hershey ice cream bars, and lots of fruits and cakes. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the buffet areas, and the freshness of the food. The counters were clean and the food was never sitting out for very long. The staff was constantly swapping out trays, even before they were empty. The only reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is because some of the dishes were disappointing. I was overall satisfied, but a few of the dishes simply lacked flavor. However, I would not want this to dissuade anyone from trying this place out. There are so many dishes to offer, that it still was a great dining experience. We will definitely be going back. Side note — but important to me — bathrooms were clean and well maintained(and the place was packed too). It might seem a silly comment, but I really appreciate a place that can a clean bathroom during rush hour.

We couldn’t wait to try this new Chinese buffet especially since I’m boycotting the other one for profiling.(read my review on the newburgh buffet) There were 3 of us at dinner so I will be the voice for all of us. My husband’s main goal is to have crab legs at the buffet. So, needless to say he was floored when he found out they don’t, and will not be, serving crab legs. He even went so far as to find the manager and ask him. SMH My sister had the stir fry and when she came and sat down I just stared at it. It looked burnt. and dried out. She said it wasn’t that good. Oh well like I said I don’t really do the stir fry. I will say this this place is huge. We didn’t have to wait long on a Friday night. It’s a very pretty place with 2 party rooms. But here’s the kicker guess who was there! The owner of the Newburgh Buffet was there as a customer. Checking out everything. So now for my comparison of the 2 buffet based on the foods I had. IF you like Sushi you will be pleased. They have a huge sushi station. When you think of Chinese food you think of fried rice. Their fried rice was terrible. There was no meat in it at all very boring. The newburgh buffet has much better rice. The stuffed shrimp here was very good. nice and moist. They also had a steamed whitefish that was cooked to perfection. The NB shrimp is always dry. I like having a little dessert. The NB has apple pie and soft serve ice cream which I love. The FG has an ice cream freezer with assorted ice cream for you to choose from as well as those assorted cakes that look pretty but taste terrible. I passed on the ice cream. All in all we like this place. The food at the NB is a little better. The FG does have a lot to choose from and I didn’t get to try it all. I will go back but there in no rush.

Went on a busy Sunday, there was a bit of a wait but we were seated placed our drink order and then the madness ensued. I took a trip over to the sushi bar, a decent variety it tasted fresh, the side bar with the kimchi and such was messy, and lots of sushi was missing labels or it was the wrong label. The flavor was on point, and I went back for more. The table was a shorter than most which was strange having to hunch over food almost but the staff was quick to clean plates and keep cups of soda/water full. The rest of buffet was your standard Chinese buffet we have all visited while on vacation. The overall flavor of the food was good but I must say my overall complaint was the food was constantly mislabeled, the salad dressing were mislabeled(my sister took buffalo sauce instead French dressing) it would say chicken and have beef in front. The hibachi station was ok but the chicken looked like it had been sitting exposed all day. Dessert was Hersey brand and assortments of fruits, pudding and cakes. Again literally the same you have tried and eaten anywhere else. I cannot think of any single feature that makes flaming grill stand out but if your hungry and in the mode of a mass amounts of food for not that much $$ enjoy.
