I ordered take out from chopsticks and was very disappointed with the food. The Singapore rice noodles were not like anything I have had elsewhere– in a bad way. It had a very bland taste and tasted more like lomein. The egg drop soup had a burnt taste. The other dishes were ok at best. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Used to be great back in the day when it was where Subway is now. Been going to this place for years… Tonight will be my last time. Over priced garbage. Chicken and broccoli? More like a bowl of broccoli in grease. Plus for added fun when they tell you 30 minutes they really mean closer to an hour. Went in to pick up food once and was told a few minutes more. 35 minutes later it came out. Clearly they had just made it and lied to me. Left it on the counter and walked out. Later Chopstix. You suck!

Chopsticks has been around for years and it continues to be the best takeout place in Newburgh. The chicken and broccoli is amazing. Nothing like the other Chinese food places. Must try!

This place recently raised their prices that are absolutely unreasonable. $ 12 for sesame chicken and white rice and they charge extra for every little thing. They use to be a decent restaurant I don’t know what happens to them, but I’ll never order from here again.

Excellent Chinese takeout. I ordered from here for the first time and had it delivered. Prompt delivery. The quality of the food I feel was above the average Chinese takeout places. In our area, the top three places are as follows: 1– Daxxon 2– Chopstix 3– Everyone else I got one dinner combination each of General Tso’s chicken and Pork Lo Mein. The chicken was fresh, and the batter and sauce were phenomenal. The pork was sliced very thin and cooked to perfection. Loved the brown fried rice as well. The portions are a little deceiving because they use plastic containers with individual compartments, so you won’t get quite as much food here as you would at another lower quality establishment. But the quality here makes up for the portion size. Still enough food to fill you up so that’s all that really matters. I would definitely eat there again. Recommended.

Chopsticks is ok for a Chinese food place. Nothing special. They have all the American style Chinese dishes. I ordered from chopsticks about 6 months ago on the way back from a night partying and after I ate the food I got super sick. I started puking non stop about 30 after I ate the food. I ordered from them again and the food was ok. I have had way better Chinese in LA and NYC. The food here is super cheap. I did not get sick this time. The reason I ordered here was the other place in Newburgh told me they don’t deliver. The receptionist spoke perfect English and was accommodating. I don’t know if I would order from here again. My food i had tonight was super spicy. Like to the point I was coughing. It was hotter that a habanero pepper hot. That’s not what I ordered. But the food didn’t make me sick this time. The best thing is there soup. PROS: –cheap –the soup CONS: –made me sick –food was way hotter than advertised

In our search for decent Chinese food here in Newburgh, we’ve ordered from this place a bunch of times, mainly because it’s close to our house and they take credit/debit cards, which is great when you don’t have cash on hand(most Chinese take out restaurants are cash only). Problem is, the food at Chopstix is generic and unmemorable. In fact, I sometimes wonder how well the cooks know Chinese cuisine(the main part of the restaurant is Red GInger, a Japanese restaurant), as many of the dishes we’ve had just don’t look or taste like they do at other places. Way too much soy sauce is used in almost all the dishes, so everything is overly salty as well as oily, the soups are bland, and things like dumplings & egg rolls are small and flavorless. Service is always pleasant though, and the prices are decent, but after a really bad meal there recently(was probably the 8th time we have ordered there) I think it’s safe to say we are done and won’t be back. Still have to wonder if the sushi in their Japanese restaurant is any good?

When I moved to the area, we were trying to find a Chinese place nearby. We tried this place, and it was NOT good. I don’t usually like to leave negative feedback on places, but I don’t have anything good to say about the place. We ordered our food to go & while we waited, we both noted how the place looked like a small business office that they turned into a chinese food waiting room. The food was very disappointing & took a long time to actually get. I’ve never gone back.
