I stayed here on a bus tour so I didn’t really have a choice. If I did, I would’ve went to another hotel. Be warned: THEREARENOELEVATORS!!! Yes, in 2015, this 3 story hotel has no elevators. Plenty of creepy stair cases, but no elevators. You’d think with the lack of elevators they’d maybe have bell hops or someone there to help people get there bags upstairs. Nope. After a long day of traveling, it really was a disappointment to have to lug all my bags to the second floor. Once inside the room: 1. the AC unit is a window unit(the kind that is situated halfway outside and the other half inside) 2. the sheets are the poorest quality of cotton. I’m not real fancy either, I bough the cheapest pilow case at Walmart and the material is significantly better than what they had on the beds. 3. the finish on the bath tub faucet was pealing off 4. the bottom of the tub looked like it was damaged and then resealed with a cheaper substance and is pealing. Instead of being white it was brownish gray(I had to buy some cheap flip flops to wear in the shower). It may have been my imagination, but I swear I saw the bacteria trying to escape from the abyss at the bottom of the tub… 5. everything just felt grimy, even after I wiped everything down with Lysol wipes 6. visible dirt and grime in the corners and between tiles in the bathroom floor 7. pillows are well worn out While it does have the new furniture and décor from the trip advisor website, it’s old and not well maintained.(ex: those pretty black headboards in the pictured now have scratches, dents, mystery smudges, and finger prints on them) Ok, I do hate to be a negative Nancy so hear are some positives: 1. fridge with freezer and microwave in the room 2. granite counter tops on everything 3. very small view of the mountains from my window facing the the street 4. free wifi 5. free continental breakfast 6. close to highway, a Target, Walmart, and other shops(walking distance but I suggest a cab since there aren’t any sidewalks or cross walks. 7. the flatscreen tv was pretty big and had good resolution There you have it. Cheap hotel. Poor quality. Stay at your own risk!
