Small place with few patrons. Excellent Thai food. I hope they survive, but wonder how they will with so few tables filled. We enjoyed the serious variety of Thai spices in the food, which many suburban Thai restaurants do not have. So we’ll be back — if they’re still around.

I love the pad Thai and the curry here — thanks for making my curry seafood free! A little stingy with refills here — you will be nickel and dimed for everything. And service can be wanting. But I come back for the delicious food

Great little place. Service can be a little slow, but they are very accommodating, especially on vegan /vegetarian requests, and have an awesome yellow curry… What more could you ask for!

The food is ok but the wait is forever. I came for lunch but by the time I got the food, it’s time for me to go back go work so I had to pack it to go

Chicken pad Thai so sweet I could barely eat it. First time there so definitely not a great first impression.

Good food. Service was very slow even with a mostly empty place but the food came fairly quickly after ordering. There was an odd smell of smoke inside so we sat outside, unfortunately in like with the bar next door. Will go back when in the area again and either get a to-go order or try inside again. Portions were surprisingly generous.

Came here with a friend and had a very pleasant experience. Got the hot and sour noodle soup and it was quite delicious. Taste very authentic and was very comforting. My friend got the beef phở and she said it was very good as well. I really like how they start true to the Thai taste palate and don’t over adjust to the sweetness or plainness that you would get from other Thai places. Also, if you are looking for that Thai spicy, this place indefinitely has it!

Yellow curry sweet, red curry savory. Average Thai food, value prices. Simple deco, useful stop for quick dinner.

I always order Penang curry from Thai restaurants. Exotic flame has very tasty and just right degree is spice The portion appeared large but was actually very limited amount of chicken and veggies in the curry… a bit disappointed.

Great food, very affordable and the lunch special is just out of this world. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I’m a fried rice lover and their rice has always been dry… Great flavor but it’s like chewing on sand lol Also the Tom Ka Gui*** is just yum

We went for lunch and it is perfect for that. Small restaurant with great food and really good service. Pad Thai was my choice and it was perfect! Yellow curry was great too. Soup or salad + main course and a roll for $ 7.5!

After getting out of LA traffic, we found Exotic Flame. The service was wonderful. The restaurant was easy to access(we live out of town). Great food! Better than other Thai restaurants in the Newbury Park area we’ve tried.

Small, intimate restaurant with great personal service and amazing food. Dinner with the family, us and the three kids, proved to be a treat. Highly recommended.

Another opportunity to eat here. My wife and I are huge Thai lovers. Wait for it. This is the best Thai food in our area(Westlake/Thousand Oaks). Every single plate I’ve eaten here is just amazing. The fresh rolls, pad Thai, and curries are kinda my go to. Look at the pictures, super fresh high-quality ingredients!

We ordered takeout to feed 6 people last night. It cost $ 57, and everyone ate until they were full, and we had leftovers. The food is fresh and flavorful. I got the spicy basil with chicken and it was amazing. We will definitely be eating here again.

Great lunch specials and top notch service! Lilly is as great as it gets when it comes to service! Everything is made fresh and authentic. I’m going to be addicted to this place. Check the chalkboard for daily specials — they are always fantastic! Request your order is made«authentic style» to get more heat and flavor.

Quaint little place. Nice and clean though. Service was pretty good and my Panang Curry was good! I asked for mild, but it came out pretty spicy, so be careful! This place seems more like pan-asian rather than Asian fusion though. Certainly worth a try if you’re in the area and feel like Asian.

Okay I’m addicted… it was all good. We had chunks of Eggplant with tender pieces of meat and I loved that the eggplant was still whole and not cooked to mush. Also had the Drunken noodles… with shrimp– very tasty but I think I will stick with their red meat or chicken on this dish. Also had their Ginger Fish and that was perfectly steamed in foil with veggies– so healthy and so yummy. I ordered for my little ones the Glass Noodle Chicken Phở and it was perfect they devoured it. If you want your food spicy you will need to say how spicy you like it so they can suit your needs. I forgot to mention it so it wasn’t spicy but I loved that I was able to taste all of the flavors too. Coconut Ice Cream was insane… good ;p Major plus that they serve Phở here and at decent prices.

Pad Thai and Papaya Salad. It was a drive by for quick lunch for us. Heading to Santa Barbara from Orange County. Papaya Salad with Shrimp was good. Very Spicy. So if u get this dish… might wanna ask them to lower the spicy a bit. Flavorful. Shreded papaya topped with peanuts, green beans, bean sprouts, and 3 large cold shirmp… with the side of carrots and grape tomatoes. PADTHAI… my husband got this. I tried it, but noodles only. He told me after we left that his chicken was cold… oh shoot! It wasnt cooked to order then. That must of been left over chicken!!! His noodles were hot. The eggroll was tasty. The soup that came with this lunch special was a miso soup. It wasnt hot. Tasted instant. It was luke warm. The service… They were friendly, but the guy that served us spilled the papaya salad dressing onto our table… im glad he didnt spill it on me… im on my way to a wedding!!! he didnt notice it. It will be a concern if it was hot soup! I think this place would be better if it focused on «thai food«and had less items on the menu. They are trying this«Asian Fusion.» But miso soup and the thai food good I got was not a good combination. I associate miso soup with Japanese Food. So it looks like they merge Chinese Food and Vietnamese Food in their«Thai Restaurant.» Orange Chicken and Phở were also choices…
