I payed almost $ 6 for a root beer float that was half full. I asked the kid behind the counter about it and he blew me off saying that’s how it’s served. Not true, I stop there at least a couple times a week for the same thing for a treat for my sick father. I won’t be returning…

Unilocal, please quit hidding my reviews! 31 flavors, what’s there not to like? It’s a clean location, I got served quickly and the staff is friendly. I like weird things, and they customized my smoothie for me using Rainbow Sherbert into it. lol Yum. :)

Went to the Lyons location. What can I say — its a BR31. Clean, product is as expected, and the service was DECENT. The employee turn-​over rate for this place is head-​spinning, but what do you expect from a bunch of teens? The boys that served us were surprisingly very helpful, polite, genuine and were the typical droneheads that look and treat you like they’d rather be anywhere but work.
We ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday on a Saturday. Good thing we called ahead — LOTS of bdays happen on a Saturday in the summer with Ice Cream cake as a bday wish!

Take the fro-​yo places out of the mix, and it really comes down to two Ice Cream chains in this valley, Baskin Robbins and Coldstone. Now, I am a fan of both, but both are really different. While Coldstone is customizable, BR is more affordable. Tuesdays are dollar scoop nights.
We have used BR for ice cream cakes as well. Yes, they still have the log cakes, but they have traditional ice cream cakes as well. You can have them made in any flavor you like.
There are several BR stores in this valley. I have gone to all at some point over the years. I have to give the title of the best BR location by far in this valley to the Lyons Avenue store.
First, they have always come through for me with last minute cake orders. Even with as little as 24 hours notice (before a holiday too), they have never refused my order.
We also go here once in a while for dollar scoop night. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The place is always clean too.
All the other locations in the scv are very inconsistent. If you are a Baskin Robbins fan, come here!
