Newington – Planet Self Storage

Great location and great staff. Very professional and friendly from start to finish. I’d use them again and definitely recommend PSS to anyone!

We used Planet Self Storage for a year and 5 months. We needed to store some stuff when my husband started working from home and he made our second bedroom (which had been a guest room) his office. From start to finish, we did not have a problem. It was right around the corner from where we live in New Britain, so that was easy. They offer climate controlled, but we opted for a non-​climate controlled unit.
The nice thing about Planet Self Storage versus the competition is that they had the right sized unit for us. Many places had units that were larger than we wanted. We rented a 5′ X 5′ for 30 something a month, but that was a special. I’m assuming they have them frequently like many self storage places as getting something for a unit that would be otherwise sitting empty is more appealing if you have several vacant units.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely use them again. We never had any issues.
Best of all, they only require a 10 day notice when moving out of your unit. We just bought a place and completely forgot to let them know before we started to move so we were able to give 10 days notice and not have to pay for another whole month.
