We’ve eaten here quite a few times since it opened and love their pizza. Caesar salads add to the meal. They also carry Abide beer which is local. Definitely worth a try!!!

Have been to Maddios several times. Always great food and great service at a great price. Love their pizza and they have the best salads.

Came for a pie. Even after telling them we’d never been here it was evident the staff was either brand spanking new or just clueless. Also, so much noise coming from the ovens and the fans I could barely here them! Had to tell them like three times what my toppings were! Then move to the register. Guy wanted a number? What number? Want me to pick a number? Lol. No, «didn’t they give you a number?» Ahh, no? !! They’re saving sacrifice? The pizza was pretty good but the aggravation of ordering will put them out of business sooner than later! Jus sayin.

After waiting nearly an hour we were served my foldwich. It looked nothing like the photo. The«bread» was literally transparent and thin as paper. It was coated in grease. The manager said they were having trouble with their pans sticking. We also ordered a med pizza which we never got because it kept sticking and they kept having to start over, and after an hours wait we ran out of time. Our money for the pizza was refunded. In my opinion we should have been refunded for the greasy paper foldwich also, but it’s all good, I will just never go back…

We recently checked out Uncle Maddio’s. It’s a nice little pizza joint. I agree with JP about the ordering process. They take your order when you come in and then you move down the line a little to talk to another person and get your no#, then you move down the line again and then give them your drink order and pay. I really dont see the point of the middle/second person you go to. They should be in the front to take your order and then give u your no# and then you go and pay. She/he can then relay the order or the computer should print out your order to the food prepper. It was just a bit weird but whatever works for them. The food was delicious. We tried their Peachy Keen Pizza and on whole wheat crust(they also have gluten-free crust) and a caprese salad. It was delicious. Our boys got the kids pizza with pepperoni and those too were delicious. They also serve sandwiches and salad. I’ll definitely be back and create my own pizza. They have plenty of toppings to choose from.

I’m torn on this place. Loved the whole wheat crust, the pizza was really good. Their menu has got some great choices. For me that’s where the good stuff ends. The order taking process seemed all discombobulated. He seemed very confused and we ordered one of their actual menu pizzas. Then you slide down the rail to pay. I paid then sat at my table waiting. It’s very loud inside, lots of kids were running around. It wasn’t a cool, comfortable environment. When our pizza was ready some rude girl just walked out, put it on our table and walked away leaving me with an empty table other than the pizza. Nobody told me I had to get up and get our own plates, silverware and napkins. There was so little service given it made me regret giving a tip. In hind sight I’m actually aggravated that they ask for tips. They gave no more service than a fast food place. I’d sum it up by calling this the Golden Corral of pizza places. I’m sure I’ll be back for a good pizza but it’s going home with me, I won’t be a sit down customer and I darn sure wont leave a tip.

We didn’t know what to expect when we went to Maddio’s and the pizza makers seemed just as confused as we were. I think they had just had a rush and were trying to get back on their feet. I would definitely suggest they smile and make customers feel more welcome, as this is a new concept for most. The manager, Bo, was busting his tail to get things done and make sure customers were happy. The pizza was fresh and hot and came out pretty quick. It’s a new place so they are still learning and growing. We will definitely be back and definitely suggest this joint to others!

I really did not know what to expect and I was pleased to find a sit-down pizza place. I also think they need to work on their serving process but that will come in time. We found the food excellent, different and varied. Service was good — a bit like Moe’s and Newk’s. We had a Caprese salad and a Beef and Blue pizza. Both were delightful. Pizza crust was excellent and tasty. We will definitely go back and this joint may cause some problems for the other sit-down pizza places in the nearby area. Works for me!

Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint is a different kind of pizza joint in a town with a ton of pizza joints. One right next door in fact. If you are unaware it is a pizza place in the style of Moe’s, Qdoba, Chipotle, or any sub shop where you order at the front counter and they make it as you move down the line. It was our first experience here and it was a good one. We eat a lot of pizza and are very picky and must say that for us, it was great pizza. The crust was perfect with just enough crisp to hold it up. The topping tasted fresh, the cheese real, and the tomato sauce robust. We will definitely return. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I personally hate being bombarded with«Cao Maddio» by every employee when I walk in the door. But that’s just me.
