Great shop! Closer to home than my normal shop by work. Great selection and run by some friendly, knowledgeable dudes. Was educated on some new juices to try too. Will definitely be back soon!

Best vape shop I’ve been to in OC by miles. Sean is super friendly, helpful, and knows his stuff. Huge variety of quality juices. One-​stop-​shop for all vaping equipment, juice, coils, etc. and all are at great prices. Once you go to Balboa Vape you will never go anywhere else!

Well overdue review, Sean is the man at this shop, hands down best customer service from any shop I have been to in California. Always willing to take his time with customers no matter how long it takes. Goes above and beyond to help each and every customer to the point he will even re wrap your batteries for you. They have some of the best juices around that most shops don’t even carry. Definitely go to Balboa! Parking can be a pain so careful going on a Sunday and Newport gets a little to crazy for Sunday Funday. Overall A+ shop!

I ran out of juice while i was at a buddies bday party down in 6^th st at the end of the peninsula. Being That I was an 18 year smoker of ciggs, and have quit because of vaping, it was a priority to get more juice, i live in costa mesa where there are so many vape shops and for me to find out that there is only on vape shop on the peninsula i was shocked and knew I was going to get their juice regardless but expected a bad shop and bad service since they have a monopoly on the newport beach peninsula. But what I found was an amazing shop and an extremely helpful and friendly salesman. I forget his name because I was slightly inebriated due to my friends bday, but I think it may have been Brian (it could have been sean, there was a regular hanging out too that I met). He turned me on to a new tobacco flavored juice from Ripe vapes that was on the money! Thanks brother, I will be visiting again!!!

After calling numerous different shops in the area looking for a kanger subtank. These guys were the only place that had them in stock. I recently bought the Atlantis, liked it but blowing through coils every other day. Decided to try the kanger for the rebuild able option. Sean was more than helpful answering all my questions. Very knowledgable and helpful. Best customer service I’ve ever had!!! Will definitely be returning

Balboa Vape is second to none.
In the Rehab Center of the World, aka Newport Beach, ex-​drug addicts and alcoholics galore have replaced their needles with mechanical mods, and their bottles of booze with bottles of ejuice. This lot seem to all congregate at a certain pair of shops; one on the peninsula, and one off of the peninsula. Regulars and staff at this «place that shall not be named» awkwardly gawk at newcomers, borderline mean-​mugging. If not for their monopoly on certain ejuices, I would never set foot in either establishment, yet beggars can’t be choosers.
Enough ranting…
BALBOA VAPE ON THE OTHER HAND is host to the best vibes for vapers in Orange County. From the understated elegant exterior, to the modern yet warm interior, the Balboa Vape shop is almost as aesthetically pleasing as the staff and clientele.
Notice to any other vape shop’s staff: if I have never met you before, I shouldn’t be subject to sarcastic comments backhandedly insulting my lack of vape know-how…it’s rude and quite frankly, unbecoming.
The staff at Balboa Vape (Sean, Aaron, and Don) are all super cool dudes that know an insane amount about the industry. Their builds are always on point and their knowledge of their product, and all new/​upcoming vape products, is beyond helpful. Oh and they are always innovating the dopest shit with their MakerBot 3D printer. Love this place and will never go anywhere else.

This is one of the coolest vape shops I’ve ever been to! They have a wide variety of e-​cig juices from some brands I hadn’t previously heard of, and Sean was incredibly knowledgable and informative. Definitely one of the most laid back atmospheres I’ve found in a local shop, and a great location right between all the bars on the peninsula. Right prices, right feel, right place! A+
