This place is understaffed and needs a review in customer service. Drive-thru is slow as hell, and the people that work there could care less about you. Average wait time in the drive-thru is 5 minutes or more. Per car.

The food here is usually excellent but today the large female taking my order in the drive thru was extremely rude. She handed me my Coke and it was leaking all over the side and after careful inspection of my burger there appeared to be a large Booger on the meat. This place needs to be inspected and shut down

I ordered a Chicken Club and they put ketchup on it. like drenched it in ketchup. The guy bringing the food to the table went around the entire restaurant and then took it back to the counter like he was giving up on trying to bring us our food. I even held my number up to him and he saw it. I didn’t want my food to get cold so I went up and got it myself.

I’m at the one in the John Wayne Airport, so I’m not sure this is the correct location… The service was really good for an airport, and their staff was friendly. The dining area wasn’t super clean, but that wasn’t a huge surprise.
They were fast getting my food out and it was pretty decent for Carl’s Jr. I had a Jalapeño burger and some fries. If I had another layover at this airport I would probably stop by here again.

Ordered the 2 sandwiches off there window display «Any two of these sandwiches 2 for $ 5.55»… Get to the window and it’s about $ 2.00 more … Asked drive through guy about the math at this place… He responded… «Oh you didn’t mention the 2 for $ 5.55 special so I charged you for each sandwich separately»
Ok. What!!! So. People… If you don’t mention the special then you automatically pay more– Even though it’s advertised on a huge poster all over their window !!!

My burger was soggy. My buns were soggy. They probably had their lettuce in water and made everything soggy. The was ketchup and mayo smeared on The outside of the burger wrapper. Just biting into the burger made me gag.

Everytime I order to go at this place, they mess up my order. I ordered a protein style chicken sandwich. I get back to my office, and open the box and got a Diablo Burger. this happened to more SEVERAL times. Very frustrating that they can’t even get things right here

The service was Excellent! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I came during lunch hour and my food came out fast and warm! An employee even came around to all the tables to ensure that everyone’s food was up to par. Another employee came around with samples of the new barbacoa burrito. Definitely a great fast food experience! I would return just for the fantastic service!!!

Being a burger afficionado, my curiosity got the better of me and I had to try the recently hyped Carl’s Jr. all natural burger which is touted as a burger that has no antiobitics, no steroids, no added hormones from grass fed, free range cattle which beef is imported from Australia. With all of that, you would think that I would be in store for a pretty good burger. Such was not the case.
All I can say is: don’t waste your money or time. Yes, the beef patty is supposedly a very healthy patty. However, the burger patty was tasteless, somewhat dry, and had no real beef flavor or char flavor. Moreover, the burger patty was overpowered with what I guess is their secret sauce which tastes like thousand island dressing. Overall, it was a bland and boring burger.

Came here around 5pm and it’s like a ghost town. I guess it’s typical for a business zone restaurant.
The order took forever. I know they’re bragging about this made from fresh campaign, but you can tell the staff shut all machines down after lunch rush hour and just waiting to go home.
After taking my order, all staff switched to Spanish. I know they’re saying something about me.

There is really nothing deserved to complain about. The staff at this location is very nice and friendly. They deliver the food to your table. They even ask you for any extra sauce. So when the dude came to me with the sauces, he even asked me if I wanted more. How sweet :)
Cons? When you walk in, be expected to be greeted with a smile on the faces!!! Kind of a downer, isn’t it? Every time when you thank them, they will say it’s their pleasure. Geez! Makes me want to come back again!!!

Gosh this place was a huge let down. After seeing the raunchy commercials I expected something of a fireworks going off. Not so much.
Their burgers are quite comparable to BK but on the weaker end. Terrible presentation. Their fries are by far the worst of any fast food place I have been too. Chicken sandwich was inedible (I ordered it just in case the burger wasn’t good). Too bad nothing was good except the staff. Very friendly and quick — They bring your food to your table which is a cool idea for lazy people. Place was super busybut the food came out pretty quick. Cheap prices but you will get very cheap food. Pass this place up.

On a recent trip to Newport Beach, we stayed around the corner at the Westin. Kiddo and I decided to walk around to find a fast food joint to grab lunch one day and found this place.
I ordered:
Big Carl Burger Combo, $ 5
Western Bacon Cheesburger, $ 3.49
The food was very tasty and fresh! The Lettuce in the Big Carl was crispy. The Western Bacon Cheeseburger also tasted fresh.
This location has it together. The restaurant was clean and employees were friendly. Will drop by if we’re back in the area.
