Waited over an hour after they told me it would be 15 minutes. Won’t be coming back. Very disorganized.

It was not great but not bad either, I wished I knew about the discount before I paid for it. Remember to show them the discount on Unilocal. Also you can get a free slice when you get text from them. The workers were very nice but I wished I could have gotten the discount;(

Pizza is okay. Frustrated that 50% of the time either the crust is burned, or they got it wrong(toppings). Don’t get the pasta. I’m pretty sure it’s pre-made, and microwaved to serve. How do I know? Well if the top is sorta warm, but the middle scorches your tongue… You know it’s microwaved. So if you aren’t picky and really hungry, this place is for you. I’ve given them several tries, hoping it was just my imagination, but nope.

My favorite pizza place on the peninsula! Great gluten free crust option is available for medium sized pizzas, it’s perfect!

Delicious! I’ve tried quite a few places around the area for pizza while I’ve been out here and this is by far the best I’ve had. They definitely do not skimp on the ingredients, the crust it tasty, and it’s a good value for the size. I thought I preferred the thin crust but the 2nd time I got the regular crust and it was equally delicious and doubly filling! I also recently tried the bean and artichoke dip and it is a must do!

This seemed a lot like a Pizza Hut pizza but for twice the price. Very disappointed. Not cheap and hardly weighed anything. Maybe a bad night for them but I won’t be going back.

To start off, the pizza has always been cooked to perfection, the service has been beyond kind and accommodating, the prices are fair, and the environment is very welcoming. However, it’s the food that stands out above all else. Before Gina’s, my favorite pizza place was The Pizza Bakery(also in Newport). And while I still love The Pizza Bakery, Gina’s has proven itself a notch above the rest. I can’t express how perfectly balanced and perfectly cooked their pizzas are. Whether you order by the slice or by the pie(FYI, the«Bigga Slice» is the way to go if you’re eating for one), you won’t be disappointed with the attention to detail in preparation, cooking, and delivery that Gina’s offers. I’ve had pizza all over the country and the world, from New York style pizza in Manhattan to Chicago’s deep dish pizza to the Neapolitan recreations of Italy, and Gina’s definitely holds its place among the best of the best, and surprisingly making its home here in SoCal! I should also note that in the two years and 21 reviews I’ve written, this place is only the second restaurant in Newport Beach that I’ve rated a perfect five stars. That alone should say something.

The cheese pizza is amazing. The customer service is also exceptional! They even checked back with us after dropping off our food to see how everything was. A special thanks to Scott for making our pizza outing even more enjoyable.

We come to Ginas every time when we first get into town for vacation. This time we arrived later than usual. We got to Gina’s at 9pm. The closing time is 10pm on Saturday night(when we visited). They had already started their closing process. They were putting up chairs and mopping. There were a couple guys who walked in after us and had to confirm the closing time because everything(at this point) has basically been picked up. It’s just not an inviting atmosphere to eat where someone is doing their clean up work to leave for the night. My daughter even said ‚“it feels like they’re closing.” She’s 5. It was disappointing.

Location specific review: Not a huge fan of this location and I don’t know why. Staff isn’t always the friendliest and the pizza just doesn’t seem to make my tastebuds dance like the CDM location. But still I have to give a good review because I have the utmost respect for Gina’s pizza. General overview: I have always enjoyed Gina’s pizza. Their pizza is always made fresh and their specialty pizzas are pretty good. I would consider it one of the best chain pizza restaurants out there. Suggestions: In terms of salad, look no further than the rasta salad and antipasto salad. Best ones on the menu by far. Best pizzas are definitely Bianca, BBQ chicken, and house special. Don’t try to branch out with anything else. Don’t do it. I’m serious. Don’t. Just don’t Bön appetito

The kids that work here are so high all the time. My order is never right and they always wind up giving my pizza to someone else, and I have to wait. And the wait is typically long anyway. The pizza is average, but I can see how know-nothing OC-ers and peninsula burnouts whom have never gone east of the 405, it is probably the«best pizza they have ever had» Ecch. Boring

Stopped by since I’m in Newport for the week and this place is within walking distance. A friend tried the normal crust pizza the day before and said it was too doughy, so I went with the thin crust pizza. There were four of us there, and we ordered a medium pizza(half Pesto half BBQ chicken) and a Piccolo(this is the individual size) seasonal vegetable pizza. We got them both thin crust, thank goodness. Thin crust felt like a normal, perfect crust rather than an actual thin crust, so I’d recommend that over the too doughy/thick normal crust, unless crust is your thing. Pizzas came in a reasonable time and toppings were outstanding. Fresh and plentiful. I’d say medium is the perfect size if you have a group of three and I don’t think the Piccolo is a good idea unless you have a friend with completely different tastes(my friend who got that would have preferred getting a slice or us getting a large and her sharing with us). I don’t know about the Biggaslice but it looked cool and we saw a guy at the table next to us get one. He ended up eating about 2⁄3 of it before throwing it out(yes, throwing it out and wasting it), so let that be a warning to those brave souls getting one(at least box up the rest please).

Awesome freshly made pizza. We didn’t know what to expect when we first came into gina’s. We had heard that the pizza was great but we always like to try places out and judge for ourselves and this was the perfect time. We came here for our Ducati Owners Club Meetup and I have to say I’m a huge fan now that I’ve tried their pizza. This was our first meet up here but it refinery winter be the last. Also the forge draft they have is super delicious and its brewed locally so I’d say that’s a must try as well.

Wishing there was a Gina’s pizza closer to our area in Lakewood/Carson but we don’t mind the drive and the beautiful view in Newport. I can’t imagine eating three slices of pizza but scarfing down a giant slice from here seems like nothing. My boyfriend and I always get the Godfather and the margerhrita(probably spelt that wrong)! More beers wouldn’t be a bad idea! Keep up the amazing pizza work !

GREAT thin crust pizza. Get the biggaslice! Delicious! Really cool speciality pizzas that are mmmm mmmmm good. Don’t get the thick crust. Not so delicious, too doughy. Chicken wings are pretty good, I like to mix the BBQ and spicy flavor. The sandwiches are really good too… I like the chicken pesto one. Only reason for the decrease in stars is the price. I think it’s too pricey for a pizza place. Maybe it’s better that way… id be fat if it was cheaper and I went there more often: D

We stumbled on this place since it was located next to the Acai café we planned on visiting. The kids wanted pizza so this was convenient and I like that you can order a slice made-to-order. It was a nice day so the outdoor patio seating was appreciated. Bonus? Free drink with Unilocal check in. Pizza was yummy. We ordered individual slices. A pepperoni, Margherita, and a cheese slice and everything was brought out separately which was not optimal. Crust was a bit thick for my liking and Margherita pizza was very good but not traditional. Service was a bit stoic but overall the pizza was hot crispy and full of flavor. I did see some customers drinking beer so looks like they serve alcohol here too.
