Sitting out front looking at Catalina Island and off in the distance San Clemente Island. It’s like being on vacation.

I’ve been sitting here for about an hour and a half now and it’s great! This is like Starbucks of the future. They have wireless charging with free charging rings, and beautiful outdoor seating. Everyone is pretty nice and conversational here. I only come around this area for Javier’s, but if I’m here again, I know where I’m getting coffee!

Seriously the friendliest baristas! So kind and welcoming which is hard to come by here in the Newport Coast. Never have had a problem with my drink orders ever!

They were not taking names and it was crowded, so everyone was getting their drinks mixed up. A little more organization would benefit this store.

Went to this Starbucks and used the restroom and might I say, I was shocked. This is one of the filthiest restrooms I have ever been in. The ground was completely black and there was pee all around the top of the toilet. The toilet paper was completely damp and wet too. So disgusting.

This is the better Starbucks I’ve visited… Nice outdoors patio benches, positive service. Only downside is why they have to keep it sooo cold. Maybe bcuz of the many cold-blooded patrons. But over all like any Starbucks offering.

The one thing I love about this location is the fact that they where the first location in So Ca to offer the Clover.

Every Starbucks is awesome! I always get the dark drip WITH a shot of espresso. Like adding Gasoline to my fire! Go baby go!

Just great. Love this store. Mellow ambiance at night. Leather chairs. Soft, non-annoying jazz music. They even had a cool gift card that has Korean language(Hangul) on it.(Thank you). Totally nice store. I enjoyed my Passion Iced Tea and they made it easy on the ice, no sweetener. What I wanted when I needed it…

For the last couple of years, I’ve stopped by Starbucks in Crystle Cove, on a daily basis and order a tall soy latte with one pump chai. I look forward to this treat before I start my day. This is my favorite Starbucks location. The staff is Fantastic and makes this stop worth it. They work great as a team, and are ready to skate when necessary. Melvin, Dawn, and Marco always get my drink right to perfection. Elizabeth is always friendly and strikes up conversation while I wait. «Never a dull moment.» Bea is spunky and super friendly. Jessica and scarlet are very sweet and friendly. My wait time is always minimal. Zoom Zoom I’m out the door. Way to go team! You guys rock!

This specific locations offers an ocean view if you eat outside as well as nice trees for shade. It offers nothing unique from other Starbucks, although we have seen someone walk out with something green that didn’t seem to be on the menu. The customer service here is excellent. They are very nice and were nice enough to show the ingredients of a drink and replace it when one of us seemed to be allergic to it with no hassle. The only thing that seems to be lacking here is that they could use more condiments. Some other Starbucks offer more, like chocolate powder. But one of the fun things they have is neon green straws as opposed to those plain green straws we always see.

New guy named Tyler. He should try smiling. Every week he looks like he hates his job. I miss the old baristas here.

I personally don’t like coffee so I stick with Hot Chocolate, Fraps, etc. which taste amazing.(I love the Tall Mocha(Cookie Crumble) Frap w/Whip Cream, Cream-based(meaning no coffee). Drinks are always made quickly and most of the time, accurately. The few times that are have been mistakes(probably because of my lack of ability to enunciate properly), they apologized profusely and redid the drink giving me a free drink card to go with it. The employees including the manager are great and a few even remember the regulars’ names/favorite drinks. My personal favorites are Elizabeth and Morgan, they are awesome and always very cheerful. The seating inside is pretty good with a couch, bar seats, and just regular tables and chairs. There’s outlets for your charger by some of the tables if you brought your laptop. There is also free wifi. The courtyard outside the Starbucks is generally pretty empty in the mornings but gets more crowded throughout the day especially afternoon. If you live in Crystal Cove like myself, there’s even a staircase across the street from the courtyard that leads into the community(if you have the key fob).

Great Starbucks! Across the street is the ocean, which is nice. Plenty of parking, although this popular Crystal Cove Promenade can get rather crowded. Nestled among all the other restaurants, this is one has a nice patio area with a glass wall to keep the wind out. Nice, expensive houses are on one end. The service is friendly. Nice salty air, relaxing tidal sounds, nice view, and pretty good coffee. Not a bad combo. This is not a big Starbucks – it’s small to regular-sized – but most of the seating is outside.

It’s a little weird giving Starbucks four stars, but here’s why: — There are outlets near most of the tables and chairs. — There is an extensive outdoor seating area. No umbrellas, but there are some trees to provide a little shade cover. — Not super busy, but plenty of people passing through, picking up drinks, caffienating their children, having coffee dates, or chilling with laptops. — There is sufficient parking. — A nice view of the ocean out the front window. — Spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of someone else’s conversation. — Tables are big enough for a laptop and books. Would I prefer to support a local business? Of course. But in a pinch, this is a great place to camp out and catch up on your Unilocal reviews.

It’s just your average Starbucks however a few things make it great: 1.) Wifi — the promenade gets poor reception so it’s good to hang out here and mooch off the connection 2.) the patio — it’s spacious and nice. You can sip your coffee and check out the ocean, people watch, or whatever you please 3.) friendly, fast service: no fuss, no muss. It was easy dealing with these people Inside, it’s a bit small. Not much room to park yourself but I think that’s because the view and appeal is really outdoors. They didn’t need to make this place any bigger. I ordered a caffe misto. It wasn’t all that great but I needed some coffee and this worked out well.
