I know a lot of people have not had great experiences with Midas and I was one of them but when my muffler fell off after driving from NJ to KY for my son’s wedding, this shop was the only one who could put the car up on the lift immediately and take a look. The owner was so helpful. We explained our situation — we had 2 hours until the rehearsal dinner — and he quickly got the part and installed it. He didn’t try to sell us a new tail pipe or catalytic converter — which is often the case. He showed my husband what had happened to the muffler and said he could weld a new one on right away. I can’t thank him enough and if I lived locally I would bring all my car repair business to this shop. Trustworthy and honest.

Went in for an oil change, purposefully didn’t tell them that my car was overheating yesterday but they still found the problem.

I came to this location for an oil change since they were doing a great price promotion. I had an 8am appointment, and only one other customer was in the place. They got started on my car a little late. The manager said something about needing to call the mechanic to see «where he was already.» I thought that was a little unprofessional, but whatever. It’s an auto repair shop, not a board meeting.
It took a pretty long time to just get my oil changed. I brought work to do, but it was still annoying. Also, I asked if they would look at the tire pressure and fill up any that were low. They said they would do it for free. In the end, they didn’t do it at all and forgot.
Pros: Cheap oil change (call ahead), not too busy on a Saturday
Cons: Slow… physically and cognitively…
