Newport Aromatherapy

A women’s social group that I am a part of hosted a private event here and it was so much fun. The atmosphere was warm, and Cynthia welcomed us in right away. We were able to set up small snacks and wine, and walk about the store leisurely and ask questions about anything we stumbled upon. Cynthia was a wealth of knowledge on quiet the variety of subjects. She had set up almost every sample of scents she could for us to smell and ask questions about what would mix to make the scent we were looking for. She was helpful in suggestions and any «idea» we had, she was able to put into action and make the most beautiful scents. I walked in only expecting to get a small vial and ended up walking out with two in addition to some supplements I’m excited to try for muscle recovery. At no point did I feel like she was «just trying to sell». Cynthia was very warm, helpful, and almost just a part of our group last night. I’ll definitely be back in the future!

Cynthia is always extremely friendly when ever I stop in her store for some teas over the years. I’ve tried just about all of them, or close to it. The stomatic tea is delicious for after dinner and the flu shot tea really helps! My favorite tea and the most useful for me because I smoke is the Lung Tea. The lung tea with some honey in it is certainly my favorite tea that I drink. I just picked some up today so I was thinking I should send a review. The teas are amazing and the quality of the herbs are always top notch. She can provide bulk herbs as well which is great, and recently was treated to seeing some nice superfoods on display in her store which is a great addition considering the type of store.
The only reason why this doesn’t have 5 stars is because there’s no ingredients listed on her teas. When I messaged her years ago about this, asking for the ingredients of the Lung Tea to ensure I wasn’t possibly allergic to anything, I was told it’s an «alfalfa blend» and that shes a master herbalist and she wouldn’t put anything in it that would possibly cause any allergic reaction. I’m still curious what it has in it so I can know for myself in case the shop closes and I can’t purchase the tea anymore. Every time I leave the shop I’m wondering, and hoping this store stays open forever so I can continue getting the tea! :)

Cynthia is great — assisted with chronic sinus pressure relief. Her herbs provide me a means to keep my head pressure free on the cold weather. I also got some eucalyptus oil for the steam room therapy — much relief !!
