Econo Lodge

Too small, dated (needs total remodel), breakfast was coffee/​roll and must get there early or it was gone! Found it repulsive. Had to stay there because it was late. Considered the rate exceedingly high ($ 72) for this hotel. Should have been $ 44.00. If this is indicative of Econo Lodge locations, wont stay at one in the future

Horrible and disgusting. Moldly, smelly, toilet didn’t flush, bugs, carpet stains. Should not be open. Also, wifi didn’t work. Customer service really bad.

Nothing but a cheap place to sleep.
On a recent road trip from Virginia Beach to my home state of Michigan, I decided to stay over night at this location due to it being located directly of the interstate and i also didn’t feel like driving anymore as it was already 2am. I called ahead to see if they had any rooms and they did. Its in a really cute location/​setting and after showing up and checking into the motel; this place could use some fixing up a bit. It wasn’t as good as other Econo Lodges I’ve stayed in the past. there was spiders and cobwebs in the corners of the room, i couldn’t pick up the WiFi connection at all, the in-​room heater/​ac didn’t work. so all you could use was the fan. The bathroom also had its fair share of issues… Needless to say i was only at this hotel all of about 8hrs total.
**Overall its just a simple resting/​stop over place to lay your head at night. if you want a little more extravagant. look into the Holiday Inn just down the road.
