Ordered Steel-to-Wood Adapters specifying that I need 4 ends; two for left side, two for right side. They notified me in an email that they only sell one«end» bracket and you only need to flip it over. Fine. They didn’t bother to mention that there’s only one lip on it, so the lip for the 2×4 is on the top when it’s flipped over. 2×4 doesn’t get any support when it’s hanging from the lip. They wouldn’t even pay shipping to return.

I ordered 6 heavy duty panels for a dog kennel with one panel having a gate. Pros: — Assistance in ordering correct parts for somewhat unusual set up. — Panels arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Cons: — Expensive to deliver and additional expense to have order removed from truck. If you don’t opt for additional charge, you will be stuck having to remove impossibly heavy delivery from the delivery truck yourself. — Gated panel was defective. I did not unpack and install the fence until 10 days past the time limit to claim damage and notified them 14 total days past. The panel was still usable, but the heavy duty chain link was badly damaged. The chain link is stretched which tells me that this could not have happened during shipping, however Hoover Fence is blaming the shipping company rather than accept responsibility. They will replace the chain link, not the panel. I do not have the necessary tools or skills required to do this so I’m stuck with a defective panel. During correspondence regarding the defective panel, they first blamed the problem on the shipping company and then later said the chain link was bent from sliding the privacy slats throughout it which is ridiculous, because it is impossible to bend galvanized steel simply by sliding PVC slats through. The links were stretched as well as bent which could only have occurred during manufacturing. They will not replace it since it is 14 days past their claims time line. Hoover Fence does not put their customer’s first and does not stand behind their products. I plan on using a different company next year when I add two more kennels.

I just spoke with the owner of this business. He was courteous and took the time to understand my concerns. The return process may not be such a burden after all. I’ll update once this matter is resolved completely. i UPDATE– Chad and Michelle heard me and made it right. Thank you.

I went from literally knowing nothing about fences to talking about rail end caps and tension bands. Nick was very helpful in explaining things and adjusting my quote for a custom fence about ten times, where I had to re-use leftover fence parts from the previous owner of our house to construct a new deer fence. Highly satisfied with the service I received. Would definitely recommend. Now let’s see how it ships and arrives :)

Their customer service is terrible. And their return process is a nightmare. You have to pay for the return shipping, and if there is one scratch, or a missing paper, or any reason they cannot sell things as BRANDNEW then they will just keep your merchandise, not send you any fractional refund and just not respond(hoping you will forget). Months later I called them back and asked why I didn’t even get a notification and they had nothing to say. They told me if I payed for shipping again they would send me my items back. Just go to your local store if you need any hardware, at least they will treat you like a human being.

Just had my aluminum privacy slats that I ordered online installed. I LOVE them! I didn’t measure my fence — either way, but I guessed and was correct in my order. I ordered 2 sets of 10′ slats in Chocolate. It covered a 14′ high fence that was 30′ long(est). I only did a single pass through, and it was enough to cover what was needed. My shipment came on time and was exactly what I ordered — thank you!!!

I still have that Pro Dasher in the garage. People usually use it to make lanes for track races but I needed it to construct a sand maze. This is also known as Hoover Enterprises, Inc or White Line Equipment Co. The packing slip came with instructions in the event of damaged goods. They shipped me a white line marker from the Jasper Warehouse within three days of my order.
