OK, first of all you all know it’s the Walmart for«Newton» shoppers, with that said there should be no further discussion. Come on we’re not talking rocket scientist here. Beautiful town and county but dealing with the folks here can cause loss of brain cells.

The Dunkin donuts in here gave me food poisoning. The younger guy who does your secret shopping to catch thieves downright harasses people and has gotten way to close for comfort. Not to mention he is terrible at his job because we can always pick him out when we see him. He acts extremely inappropriate and when I was unaware that he worked there(no uniform) I though he was a child abductor or something horrible by the way he was creepily stalking my family and I through the store. Won’t be long until someone punches that guy square in the nose for the way he acts. I’ll never go back. I don’t steal and I don’t need to be stalked by some loser on a power trip.

Pharmacy dept. Is a complete sh*t show! The«equal opportunity employment» pharmacists are complete IDIOTS! I had 3 epidural shots done in my spine in the last month. The first one I had done, got a prescription from my doc for pain medication, went to Walmart and was told in very broken English the pharmacist feels I’ve had too many pills and won’t fill my scrip for another week! Apparently in India pharmacists know better than the doctors. So I had to walk out the door with my cane in tow and with no scrip Cuz she wouldn’t return the paper from my doctor! So a pain filled week later, I had dropped off another prescription from my doctor after an appointment I had that day and again was told it would not be filled Cuz my last refill shouldn’t have ran out yet, my doc upped my dosage during the week and my pills ran out twice as quick. I am taking a medication that if stopped abruptly can cause severe seizures, that didn’t matter to the pharmacist I had to call my doc and have him straighten her out. So again in pain and with cane, wife and newborn baby in tow we head to Walmart. My wife calls ahead to make sure it’s ready for pick up, and was told it would be 20 mins so it’s a 30 min trip from my house, no problem, right? WRONG! We get there and are told they can’t fill it Cuz they don’t have enough pills, to remind you«severe seizures» if stopped, so after a waste of a trip I tell them that this is no good and I need the meds. so I get a two day supply and have to limp in two days later to deal with the human trash behind the counter for the last time ever! F Walmart of newton pharmacy!

I once had some Sacagawea dollar coins from when I had to use a $ 20 bill to get a ticket at the NJ/NYC path system and tried to use four of them for a very small purchase at the Newton Walmart. The girl at the checkout looked at me like I had just handed her some seashells and responded«I don’t know if we take these?» and made a huge scene and called over a manger or front end person to help who then in turn had to go and find the manager of the store to verify that I in fact had American currency. Absolute morons. I think the Walton family should give all Walmart workers a pay decrease for their unadulterated stupidity.

I get that Walmart is equal opportunity. However, perhaps you should at least invest in higher IQ management? I agree with the MOSTDYSFUNCTIONAL Walmart in the country. And damn, that’s pretty hard to accomplish considering its… WALMART! I get ticked off almost every single time I go there. Honestly, I expect the Walmart consumers. It wouldn’t be Walmart without folks with missing teeth or the local rednecks. However, to wait on lines and spend 20 minutes checking out even when the store is dead? That’s just BS and no excuse! Your employees spend more time talking to each other and hiding in the back to avoid being called to register than anything else! Just a shame there is no other alternatives in Newton. Walmart put everyone out of business. Maybe, by some good fortune Walmart will go under next!

This has to be the most dysfunctional walmart in the the county. The pharmacy team can never fill a proscription without wasting your time. Communication is a concept that is alien to them. It took me 2 ½ hours to fill a prescription that was called in from my daughters pedestrian. After I stud in line 3 times in the course of time, I was finally told that they didn’t have the antibiotic in stock. And so a they have to call the dr. Back to confirm a stronger substation.

Walmart as a company is a complete and total disaster. This particular location really bad. They never restock anything and the people shopping in here are scary. You will wait on line for a 45 minutes and likely want to crawl out of your own skin for setting foot in this freak show. Avoid the Newton Walmart at all costs.

Terrible place. People are good and generally hardworking.
