A Gap is a Gap is a Gap but the one in Newtown really does feel more unique and small town because of their really great staff. I’m in an out of this store at least once a month and enjoy it each time. Highly recommend.

The day the Gap arrived in Newtown I knew we had arrived. When it expanded from the original small store on State Street and moved to the Village of Newtown, I wondered if it was possible to have too much Gap? Apparently not. Both the large Gap and the Gap Body are successful. If you like Gap gear this is an easy place to shop. Plenty of space. Good workers. Enough parking. Several eateries nearby when you need a break.

Every day, I can count at least 2 things on my body from the Gap. I love their clothes, and this is one of the best stores I’ve ever been to. I have a theory that Gaps in very high-traffic locations(around Newtown, the ones in Oxford Valley or Neshaminy malls) are really bad. Smaller Gaps like this one, though, don’t have such high traffic so some great quality clothes can get to really great sale prices. This store is well organized and the employees are really helpful.

About 80% of my wardrobe is Gap or Gap-family(Banana, Old Navy, etc) so I’m a little biased when it comes to the Gap. The short of it: I love Gap. It has everything you’ll ever need. And as far as Gaps go, this is a great store. It’s organized, well-stocked, and not insanely packed(ahem, Oxford Valley). The store carries mens and womens clothes and accessories(shoes, handbags, etc) and it’s attached to a Gap Kids. The Gap Body is a bit further in «downtown» Newtown, but it’s still pretty close. And the staff is so friendly — I swear my mom and I know half the saleswomen there. Before you go check online to see if they’re running any sales; it seems in the past 6 months the sales at Gap have been insane and too good to pass up.
