Five stars for flavor, authenticity, and honesty. As a former resident of Thailand, when I order food at a Thai restaurant in America and tell them I want it extra spicy I am used to somewhat chuckling at the outcome which tends to be nowhere near the spice level of authentic Thai dishes. That being said, tonight my husband(who IS Thai) and I ordered pad thai and lad na from My Thai and requested the dishes to be extra spicy spicy. We are currently sitting in a pool of sweat and sinus goo from the delicious yet fiery dishes that were actually cooked to an accurate heat request. As far as flavor? Outstanding and genuine. Just make sure you don’t under estimate the meaning of «spicy» from this hidden Niagara gem.

I have been to My Thai on a few occasions, my wife loves this place. Is it the most authentic? No. Is it consistently good tasting food? In my experience, yes. On my last visit I tried the Chicken Phở($ 11.00). The broth was good, kind of sweet which I liked. It was served with the usual sides of bean sprouts, Thai basil and lime. I would order it again, but it isn’t the best phở in the area. Next up the Siam Roll($ 6.00), this was the first thin I have had at My Thai that I didn’t really care for. I found the flavor to be bland and the didn’t like the texture of the sticky wrap, but I have never had a Siam Roll before, that could be the norm. Samosas were the next thing we tasted. I have to say I was surprised at how delicious these were… I might go as far as saying they are among the top samosas we have had in the area. The shell was thinner and crispier than I am accustomed to, but I liked it. The filling was delicious and flavorful. My only complaint is the special sauce it was served with just seemed to be hot sauce, it was still good, but I was expecting something a little different. Last up were the chicken wings($ 7.00), ordered Thai hot and crispy. The wings were surprisingly good. They were spicy, full of flavor and a decent size. I would order them again. I know what you are thinking… I ordered Phở(Vietnamese), Samosas(Indian) and wings(American) at a Thai place; who does that? Like I said I have been here a number of times, my wife loves it… I like to try new items every time I go. I have had quite a few of the more traditional items and they have been good as well, this just happened to be the time I decided to write a review. So my final breakdown is this… Food is good, but not the most authentic. Service has been consistently good on our visits. Price seems to be right where it should be, maybe a smidge to high on certain items.

Stopped here for dinner after shopping at the outlets. No frills little place. It was dark inside but clean and the staff was friendly although not readily in the dining area so you do wait a bit for ordering etc. we got the sampler platter which was nice to try different options. For the Entrée I ordered the pad Thai shrimp. Plentiful portion size, nice taste and not too spicy. Not a bad place to eat if you aren’t sure where to go when you are in town.

Delicious food, fast service, beautiful surroundings, great prices-the total package! The vegetarian curry was even better than expected!

I know I have found a good Thai place when I can get good street soup. It’s hard to find a place in the States that makes it the same as Bangkok, but when they are found they must be tried.

A local favorite for my husband and I. It’s our go-to lunch place. The food is excellent and it’s quiet at lunch time.

Happy to have a little diversity in Niagara Falls, NY. Husband and I go at least once a month, phở could be better, but have yet to be disappointed with the food in general.

Not particularly great service. Ordered bubble teas, my boboa I think was maybe a little old as it had started to get crunchy in the middle again. We ordered phở. The worst phở I have ever had. It wasn’t seasoned like phở. It had a strong curry flavor. The beef balls were tasty in it, however there was a strange stewed meat in it that also tasted a lot like curry. I am used to traditional phở. I’ve had it with tripe, oxtail, beef ball, rare beef, beef bone, but never those oddly seasoned chunks of stew meat. It wasn’t pleasant. I asked to order a bubble tea to go for my friend at home and was informed they were out of the boboa and I would have to wait while they made it. I didn’t have 15 more minutes to wait because I had to pick up my kids or I’m sure they would have made it for me, it was just disappointing. To be fair, I didn’t order Thai food off of the menu. Perhaps that faire is prepared correctly, with more traditional flavors. I just can not get over the fact that they would billet the phở as famous, when infamous would be a better description.

Overall the food was good with the exception of their famous Bangkok Street Noodle soup, it was more like Vietnamese phở soup, not sure why there was a hint of yellow curry in the soup… also the larb pork was severed cold when typically served warm.

I came here to see the falls with my family. Looking for restaurants on Unilocal,we’ve sadly came across this restaurant. The reviews were good so we wanted to try it out. First of all, the green curry was extremely salty. We also ordered the pad thai which I must admit was pretty good. We also got the pineapple fried rice which should’ve been a dessert considering how sweet it was. Aside from the mediocre at best food, the service was a bit lacking. The waiter went to every single table except for ours to ask how the food was and if anyone needed anything. We came here because we were very hungry and would not come again. PS don’t waste your time downloading their app to get 10% off. They won’t give you the discount.

The food was very good, it was very clean and tastefully decorated. Not overly crowded which I appreciate and the service was prompt. Great experience.

My Thai is a great little place! The food here is fresh and pretty solid. For an appetizer we had spring rolls. I thought these tasted good, but where very small and only 3 to a plate. I didn’t think these where worth the $ 5 personally. For the main dish I ordered the chicken cashew nut. I thought the food presentation was great, the veggies where tender and tasty and the chicken was fork cut tender! The sauce was fantastic and I loved the dish blended with the cashew nuts! Very good, I’d order this again anytime! I’d come back in for entrees for sure! 4 stars for them but the appetizers were only worth 2. The service here is pretty friendly and the food is served relatively fast!

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. First, my wife asked for a glass of water. After asking the waitress for it 3 times she eventually went up to the bar and got it herself. While ordering I ordered«Pataya Fried Rice». According to the menu this dish is: «Sauteed rice with eggs, carrots, green peas, onions, garlic and tomatoes with chicken and shrimp wrapped in an omelet.» The waitress then proceeded to ask me if I wanted chicken or pork in it. When I pointed out to her that the menu specifically says that the dish comes with chicken and rice she was completely confused and went to talk to her manager. Eventually she came back and told me I would not be charged the $ 2 extra for shrimp that is normally charged for shrimp. The staff quite obviously has no clue about the menu items and is the service is quite poor. A while later my wife got the dish she ordered, but my dinner did not show up. After waiting about 7 – 8 minutes and seeing guests that came in after us getting food we asked about the dish and the waitress said she would ask the chef to hurry the dish. I was served something about 5 minutes after that but it was some squid dish that had absolutely nothing to do with what I ordered. At this point management just said that we would not pay for anything we were served and could just leave. So, I cannot even review the food as I never was actually served what I ordered or anything that I would eat. This was a complete and utter disaster of an experience and I wholeheartedly recommend avoiding this place!

Really good thai cuisine! Very nice and diverse selection. The restaurant is clean, nice, and trendy looking. WARNING: DONOT order anything«Thai spicy» unless you can REALLY handle some heat! I stupidly said I wanted my rice/chicken dish spicy thai hot when he gave me the options of mild/medium/spicy/thai spicy and I couldn’t even finish my meal! Talk about HOT!!!

My boyfriend and I were heading home from the Niagara Outlets when we noticed this spot right off of the freeway. We decided to give it a shot. Being the avid Unilocaler that I am, I of course checked out the reviews. I have to say I was surprised to see this shady looking spot score well. We decided to give it a shot. I got the Pad Kee Mow with chicken, because I am a big fan of broad saucy noodles. I shared the spring rolls which were actually deep fried. They came first and were extremely hot, which I appreciated but for $ 5, I expected them to either be bigger or perhaps more than 3. Nonetheless, they tasted just fine. My pad kee mow was delicious. It was a smaller portion than I am used to when it comes to Thai food, but it was a good size and came mild(even though I asked for no spice). Broad noodles can be tricky too cook but they were very nicely prepared — not sticking together but also not drenched in oil. The mixed vegetables were also nicely cooked and complimented the dish very nicely. Though I did not have a beer this evening, I noticed the restaurant came with a very nice assortment of Asian beers. The list was extensive and it was nice seeing a restaurant take the time to put together a nice list of beers not available in supermarkets around. The atmosphere was cozy and comforting without being too cramped. It definitely had the family restaurant feel. Service was excellent — attentive without overbearing and professional. Aside from the location,(it is located next to sketchy looking motel), the food was good and I would come back. It is a bit out of my way, so I doubt I would make the trek out just for the food. Finally, I just want to mention that for a small place like My Thai, they seem to be fairly tech savvy. They use ipads for ordering purposes and on their website, it looks like they have online ordering option available.

This place is pretty much the only option when you are craving Thai food in Lewiston, NY. The service is very attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The food is decent but has potential to be much better. The Thai Crispy Wontons were filled with pork and shrimp, however the skin was too hard and slightly burnt. The pad thai was flavorful and had the right amount of sweetness and zest but the pork in it was tough. We also ordered the Masaman Curry which was loaded with chicken covered in delicious sauce but lacking in the amount of vegetables. Overall the experience was good but the food was mediocre due to a lack of proper execution.

Four different dishes. all fresh and delicious! The restaurant is attached to a strip motel and not so appealing from the outside but don’t judge a book by its cover! Tom Yum Soup with chicken was definitely YUM!

Came in for a quick lunch and ordered the chicken pad Thai. Service was friendly and fast. The meal was served with a tofu soup. It was a little strange to have lettuce in the soup, but the broth was very flavorful. The egg roll that also come with it was crispy on the outside and just a tiny bit doughy on the inside, but it didn’t take away from the taste, which was pretty good. The pad Thai was vey good, much better than the various other Thai restaurants I’ve tried in the Buffalo area. And the price was very reasonable. I will come back again. Three stars for lettuce in the tofu soup and doughy egg roll.
