Went here for the lunch buffet. This was my first visit. I enjoyed the experience and great value for the price. Beverages(non alcoholic) are included in the price. The salad bar was good, variety of lettuces and lots of items to add to your salad; healthy and not so healthy, your choice. The Mediterranean choices were all good, chicken souvlaki, shrimp cocktail, veggies, olives with roasted garlic(yummy) and pasta choices. Pizza was really good. The ‘death by chocolate cake’ was rich, decadent and delicious! I didn’t have room for any more food, but the Grill section had a lot of family style options and there is an Asian section also. I definitely will go again and try those.

What happened to this place I can remember when the food here was made with love they had large piles of crab legs, friendly staff, scrumptious desserts not anymore. Visited here on a Thursday night and they were packed but NONE of the food looked appealing the fried chicken was small and dry looking? so was the sweet and sour cabbage, the carved roast beef was cold even though it was under lights and they guy doin the carving wasn’t friendly at all kept his head down, didn’t say your welcome when people said thank you!(guess he wasn’t used to people with manners) the desserts were just plain and simple no little touches of whip cream or any other decorations. BUT the one saving grace my have been the fresh pasta station ran by JOSH he was very nice and did a great job it was tasty and the fresh shrimp was good, the staff wasn’t refilling in a timely manner on most of those dishes.

Here’s my tip arrive at 330 and don’t pay the dinner price… perhaps you don’t need to do this but this way you get the best of three worlds: Lunch dinner and cheaper price. I have been here several times and its a win win with so much to chose from. Usually I go with several people with hearty appetites and you never have to wander or guess are they all full. 2 thumbs up. Oh and they have a smoking and non smoking section. Coming from Ohio have forgotten that smoking places exist.

It’s a buffet and this buffet is about as good as it gets. I went in 12.95 Monday night. Of course there was a line in the Seneca Casino but it moved quickly. Going here is no gamble though. There’s so many options from 4 different areas. There’s The Grill which has American style comfort food. Chicken fingers, mashed potatoes, green beans, Mac n Cheese. Asian area offers some good soup, fried rice, dumplings, egg rolls and some other options. Mediterranean area offered Make Your Own pasta dish, some delicious already made pasta, baked fish, chicken, endless shrimp and cocktail sauce. The final area was Pizza and Salad which had great fruit. I didn’t try the pizza or go over there honestly. The dessert though was for kings! Cheesecake, ice cream, peanut butter mousse, crème brûlée and so much more. Make me a queen so I can stay here and eat dessert forever! Overall, I feel like we paid a good price for great options. Of course we found ourselves in the casino afterwards just because it was there… Came out 11.50 ahead of the 5 $ we put in. Not bad for beginners.

I’m not usually a fan of buffets, but when a friend suggested going to the casino as something different to do… and I found myself«starving» … and my newly won $ 15 was burning a hole in my pocket… I decided to check this place out. It’s very bright and very clean inside… and there are lots and lots of choices… everything from a nice and fresh salad bar… to pizza… to pasta… to Mediterranean food… to all sorts of cooked veggies and casseroles… to a carving station… to chicken wings… to a huge wall of desserts and an ice cream bar. Everything I tasted was fresh, flavorful, and served at the correct temperature(very important when eating from a buffet). I especially enjoyed my «Thanksgiving dinner»: carved turkey breast, mashed potatoes, dressing, and wonderfully tangy house-made cranberry sauce. Oh… and you save $ 2 if you sign up for and show your«Players Card».

We were on Tuesday night on crab leg night. Excellent! The crab legs were great! The server was generous and we made several trips for more. Also sampled the turkey breast, roasted potatoes, Asian noodles, mussels, boiled shrimp, and the salad and dessert bars. All good food. There was a line to be seated but it went pretty fast. All servers and wait staff were friendly. I would definitely come back.

This is my fourth time here The crab legs were awesome fresh and plentiful They certainly weren’t stingy on portions Thought I was going to start developing claws I ate so many Big plus for the carved beef aujus and horseradish to cut the fat The dishes I had were great One bad thing that was a turn off Using valet parking like I did I had to walk through a gauntlet of tobacco smoke. That was the absolute worse Dealing with lung cancer and beating it but this was the absolute bottom of the bottom

Came here for breakfast. There wasn’t too much a variety but wasn’t too bad. It was $ 22 for me and my husband after we showed our points card.

We try to go here everytime we are in Buffalo. The food selection is quite good and the price is fairly reasonable. You can also get a discount if you have a ‘player’s club’ card — $ 2 off the buffet price. There is also free self parking.

Convenient location. Kind, courtious, and prompt staff. The food quality is very good. There is not much there that I don’t like. Very good variety also

I pretty much agree with most of what was said here concerning the variety of foods and the quality of service. A players club card is a must. We were a party of four and we must have jumped 75 people in line with the priority card. $ 26 is pricey for a buffet even with the variety of food. It is a very large room full of people, more like a cafeteria in ambiance and décor. Frankly, the Golden Corral is just as good. The proximity of the casino floor and the main entertainment room are an added bonus that does make the buffet here worthwhile. Just do yourself a favor, don’t take your best significant other here for a romantic evening.

This was a casino buffet with many different options. The food quality was better than I had expected from a buffet. The staff was helpful and courteous. Each time I returned to my table, it was cleaned and reset with full water glasses! Don’t forget to save room for the dessert section. Be sure to look for the kiosk to prepay so you can skip the line. I spotted it while waiting in line and skipped 30 or so people!

I would love to challenge all the naysayers with a quick quip of «you’re not in vegas» but if I can’t. I want blown away by my experience and yes it isn’t Vegas… Its not event close to that experience other than the rest of the stuff that’s going on in the casino… You can go lose last week’s pay check and settle for going to comfort yourself by the bright and shiney buffet. They’ll of course have a plethora of deliciously crafted food… right? They sure do have a great deal of it, but try telling someone in the line that they are out of something on the line. They don’t have time to hear that they are trying to cook up omelets for the 29 people in the queue at an omelet station manned by 1 person during the breakfast rush… This isn’t someone on the lines fault bit a big snafu in the entire system they have. This is not Vegas, so you can’t expect to have this many station options running at once with staffing that isn’t organized to handle half the seating in the restaurant. Yikes… If the experience wasn’t cringe worthy enough, now I’m being yelled at my a stafd for how they seated my party. «Your party is too large to sit in this area, we need to break you up to specific tables, the hostess did it wrong». I’m sorry, half our party is already watered and about to start their first plate down a road of hating themselves for the entire several hours… I guess we can fix that next time by instead saving the next trip to the casino to inly enjoy the Western Door instead of the casino floor and a buffet.

I was very disappointed with this place. First we saw it on Unilocal, thought it will be least better to try. But the reality is, not even worth it to try, it’s waste of your money. First it was $ 30 around per person. Indoor décor was very fantastic, looks like you are in the future. It clearly show you the directions of the different country food. It just when it gets to the food quality, it was very bad. Every thing obvious artificial chemical garbage, I would not put them in my own body, it just gross. The Alaska crab were dirty crabs, and the service was very lazy and slow. I want to ask them«are you even awake? Is Niagara falls distracting you?» I wasn’t recommend here, even it has good rating on Unilocal.Don’t even try it.

It has become somewhat of a tradition to go out to eat at the Seneca Niagara Casino’s Thunder Falls Buffet on my birthday with my family every year. I usually opt to go on a Saturday evening after 4PM when they are serving prime rib. If it’s been a long time since you’ve been here they remodeled this place a few years ago and set it up in several different stations. There is a pizza/salad station which probably isn’t worth your time if you’re paying $ 20 plus to eat here. An Asian station which has a pretty good variety of choices from all over Asia, not just Americanized Chinese options. A Mediterranean station which has a ton of flavorful options like beef souvlaki. Finally, my personal favorite is the Grille station which has all the best American favorites including carved turkey breast and other meats, corn bread stuffing, gravy, buttermilk mashed potatoes, fried chicken, baked beans, and on Saturday evenings the prime rib. There is also a pretty large dessert station to check out after you finish your main course. There were obviously far too many foods that I tried for me to review them all but I will talk about some of my favorites. First, the prime rib. Be warned that the price increases to $ 24 per person from $ 20 when they are serving prime rib on Saturday nights. Also, you must have a Player’s Club Card to get the listed price otherwise it’s $ 2 more. With that being said I definitely feel the extra price is worth it if you are a steak person. The prime rib is very tender and juicy and I always enjoy it. Plus they always have someone there to carve it fresh from the cooker. The buttermilk mashed potatoes are amazing as well and make a great side to go with the prime rib. The macaroni and cheese, gravy, stuffing, and baked beans all made good sides too. I decided to try the carved turkey also and that had a pretty good flavor. I have to be honest and say that the fried chicken just didn’t do anything for me after eating the prime rib. Just my opinion though. My two favorite items from the Asian station were the pot stickers and spring rolls which were both cooked to perfection. From the Mediterranean station I most enjoyed the beef souvlaki with warm pita and the hummus. When it was finally time for the dessert station I had hardly any room left, but I went with a small slice of cheesecake which was pretty good. Other interesting items I saw at the dessert station were bread pudding, an ice cream machine, and various different flavor cakes and pies. As for the atmosphere, the place is set up looking somewhat upscale yet casual at the same time. The buffet is attached directly to the casino which you can easily see from your table which gives you that Vegas sort of feeling while eating which was pretty cool. Not to mention you can easily walk over for some slots and gambling after your meal. Overall, this buffet may seem pricey at first but its not too bad considering its all you can eat and they do offer a lot of options. I would recommend giving it try if you get a chance.

Disclaimer: I don’t like eating Buffet… Thunder Falls Buffet does have comfortable seating. The dining area in fact is bright, spacious and I love the high ceiling. I think that’s all I love about Thunder Falls Buffet. Food was meh: all prepared with not much care, reminds me of cafeteria food. Pizza was either undercooked or burnt. The shrimp cocktail has mushy texture. Even the cooked to order pasta was not done properly… Most of the food just taste salty without any other taste. But dessert was half decent, and it is hard to mess up Soft Served ice cream? Free pop and coffee is nice. Disclaimer: I don’t like eating Buffets… $ 20 is not a bad price for dinner but I rather just have a well prepared salad than a lot of mediocre food!

It’s time to update this review! What was once an underwhelming and overpriced buffet has been completely revamped and is now about as good as a buffet can get and for a very reasonable price. Thunder Falls Buffet shut down for a number of months and the area was gutted. It’s now a bright, modern space that boasts multiple food stations with a number of fresh, made to order items. I’ve been there a couple of times now with visitors and nobody has left disappointed. Highly recommended if you are in the area and have a group that is indecisive on what to eat or just enjoys buffets.
