I just phoned the restaurant and found out that they are temporarily closed for a week or so. You’ll have to check in with them to see when they’ve reopened.

Some of the dishes were good(honey Walnut Shrimp and Salt and Pepper Calamari). The pork fried rice was dry, like it was cooked previously and reheated. Our cocktail Long Island Ice Tea was horrible, it tasted like simple syrup and a little soda. Bill for 2, 4 dishes and two drinks was $ 60. It would gave been worth it if the good and drinks were good. The place is very dirty, it is ashamed with such a great location on the lake that could have great potential. We miss the old Harbor Restaurant when it was a great steakhouse

Wow, The Best Egg Fu Yun and Honey Walnut Chicken ever! Great location, right on the water. The place is not fancy, but good food, full bar, good prices and nice view. I’m a Happy Camper!

I don’t know what story is, but for some reason the food is inconsistent still… I ordered the double mushroom chicken to go… see the picture… I thought double mushroom meant two types of mushrooms. I paid extra to have green beans added. I ordered to go… peeked in the container, carrots, onions and celery… got home… not only only one type of mushroom… only one(1) shitaaki mushroom, cut in three pieces. in the entire dish… plenty of raw carrots and green beans… crunchy is good, raw is a salad. time before, I ordered ginger, green onion chicken… no green onion at all… regular. onion .watery sauce. on the good report, they make a salt and pepper calamari that is to die for… I guess I’ll just stick with that. and the bar, which is always consistently perfect, Brian is the ultimate… the guy you go to the bar because he works there. so, go to the bar, have the calamari as a Tapa. maybe weekend chef is different,

If you go in after reading the reviews and think this is odd. You are in the right place. So what? Go sit at the Bar, talk to Brian the friendly bartender and get a Well made drink and look through the menu. My wife and I did them ordered takeout for 6 back at the condo we stayed at. Everyone loved the food including 210yo,(one who gives the term picky new meaning) if you want atmosphere — do some traveling if you want good food and drinks and don’t mind a place that doesn’t fit the mold… You found the right ester aunt in Nice for you.

Hmmm. Strange. First and foremost, this place was clearly just a bar in the beginning. The Chinese restaurant was an afterthought hidden behind the bar and the pool table area. No prob. Proceed to the back to check out what is for dinner! Interesting décor that stays true to the name«Harbor» and has a nice view of Clear Lake to boot. The menu is quite extensive — with nearly 200 different types of choices. The waitress(also apparently the owner) was sweet — yet a bit flustered. «Um — we will take the Fresh Spring Rolls…». (Waitress/Owner) «That will take 25 minutes unless you want the deep fry rolls!» «Um — no — we aren’t in a rush. We will take the Fresh Spring Rolls.» It’s Clear Lake at Sunset. We aren’t in a rush… there’s nothing else to do on a Saturday night but drink in this neck of the woods. Ten minutes later the Spring Rolls come out. Great! They came with a peanut dipping sauce and were quite good. Hot and Sour Soup was yummy too! Kung Pao Chicken was great too! The Double Mushroom Shrimp plate would have been awesome — but wasn’t very hot so it just died along side the other dishes. For dessert, we decided to visit Annette in the bar afterward for a martini. She was a total sweetheart. Our inspiration for each of us getting a martini came from a table inside the restaurant that ordered 3 at their table themselves. Trouble is, the whole restaurant only had 4 martini glasses total. I had to help Annette reach for a margarita glass to put my martini in. Fine. After about 10 minutes I was cross-eyed — there’s a reason they don’t put martinis in margarita glasses. I couldn’t even finish it… sad, considering I am a professional drinker! Last up… the juke box! Why these bars make you PAY a dollar to play two Journey songs is crazy… the music should be flowing for free so that you order more drinks! Oh Clear Lake — I love how odd your restaurants are. We will be back again.

If there was a way to give this a negative star … I would do it! The food was bad and the service was even worse! We were hoping for the best because there really isn’t a lot of choices in the area, didn’t happen. The waitress actually yelled at us for not liking their food, didn’t try to fix it, didn’t try something else, it was our fault and she stands by her recipes! I will never go there again and I really recommend you go somewhere else!

Wow. Completely appalled with this place. My partner and I came here because they had a pretty decent vegeterian menu. We ordered the lemongraas tofu, curry tofu, and fresh spring rolls. The waitress brought out lemongrasa tofu, spring rolls with SHRIMP(which doesn’t say is included with the fresh spring rolls on the menu) and CHICKEN curry. We explain to the waitress that we didn’t order the CHICKEN curry but TOFU curry and asked why shrimp was put in the spring rolls when it doesn’t show it as an ingredient on the menu. We explained to her that we don’t eat meat and she took both dishes away. We coukd here her boss yelling at her and within minutes she brought out new dishes. It was quite obvious by look, smell and taste, that they had simply removed the shrimp from the spring rolls and removed the chicken from the curry and replaced it with soggy tofu. Keep in mind the waitress said she would have them prepare new dishes for us. When we told her that we wouldn’t be paying for these two dishes, not only her but her and her boss proceded to YELL at as! Probably for a good 5 minutes straight. This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. I have no idea how they are still in business. My mind is blown.

The food was so tasty and fresh that we mentioned it weeks after dining. We chose several vegetarian options, and all were very affordable. We dined outside as we had a dog with us and were the only ones doing so in the end of April, but the server was extremely attentive and even brought out a bowl for the dog. Ofter times when dining outside with the mutt we just assume that we will get neglected, but it was definitely not the case.

Went here for the first time for my birthday last week. It is by far the best Chinese food in Lake County. The Mango chicken was excellent. Family is warm and make feel welcome. This is now my go to Chinese restraunt! I wish they had better seating out on the deck where the view is one of the best for a restraunt in Lake County!

Good food and the service was very good. The inside of this place is very nice looking and there is a view of the lake. We had sweet and sour pork which was very good. Also the vegetable chow mein was tasty. In an area that does not have a lot of dinner restaurants, this was a very good find.

I had one of the most memorable and delicious chinese food meals here about a month ago. Me and a few friends were looking for food on a sunday and we found this place, from the outside it was a little intimidating but once we were greeted with a smile from the waitress everything worked out great Large portions of pretty good american style chinese food. It was hot, tasted fresh and tasted good. Ill go here again next time im in the area for sure. A good joint to roll up for sure

We have ate there three times this month due to us being so busy. Everytime it was absolutely fabulous. The vegies were fresh, the rice just steamed, and the soup newly made. You can always get a great drink if you wanted from the bar but their ice and hot teas are perfect. Thank goodness they are here for our Chinese fix. Don’t forget there week day lunch time specials of an entrée, a choice of chow mein or fried or steamed rice, egg rolls and soup. Right on the lake and walking distance from near by hotels if you know the way. :)

Pretty okay, has some good potential. If only the town were busier. During my eternal bachelor days, I’d be camping up in the hills above Clear Lake, and occasionally I’d hear what sounded like live music from near the lake. C’mon, this is the north shore, ain’t nuthin’ happening here. But I was wrong: the Harbor Restaurant has live music with local bands. So I ate there on one of my trips. It’s a cozy dining area inside with nautical decorations. Or you can eat in the back on the patio, with a gorgeous view of Clear Lake. You can boat in. The food is standard American, tastes good but a little high priced. It’s the kind of place that would be just hoppin’ if there were more people living here, more tourists staying the week, and if this stretch of Hwy 20 wasn’t so depressed. The restaurant appears to hop well enough now, though. You might as well stop by.

Like the location. Had pad thai once — the noodles looked/tasted like italian pasta noodles. Nice try.
