Great food, great service! Niles needed a nice place to take your wife out that’s not Italian food! Best steak around. A little heavy on the seasoning in the food, that’s why I’m giving a 4 out of 5. Get the Green Chile Mac N Cheese– spicy and rich!

So unbelievably disappointed tonight… we’ve been coming here for over 2 years in spite of our general dislike of chain restaurants… I should’ve known when the last time we were there, they’d discontinued my favorite drink & when I asked… they were just like“oh well…” Tonight I ordered my favorite dish –sesame encrusted salmon — this dish is the reason we kept going back to this restaurant… well…turns out they changed the sauce & added quite a bit of adobo to it… I found out because I asked the waitress why it was so spicy(which it’s never been in the 10+ times I’ve had it…) a «chef» came out from the kitchen & told me that they had changed the recipe & added adobo… he offered to make a sauce similar to the former & I thanked him. The sauce was better but of course by then I was full The bill then came…$ 145! I don’t mind payoff or a good meal but… no apologies & no attempt to make it right other than a substitute sauce?! Well… that’s what we get for frequenting a chain… done!

I’ve had a couple of good meals at the Columbus location(Polaris) and when we needed to eat a late lunch while we were at the mall, we headed here vs. the food court. We were seated in a booth immediately and our server came to take drink orders. It’s a pretty and cozy décor, and my 3 year old granddaughter even noticed the pretty lights behind the liquor bottles at the bar. Our meals were really good. I had the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables(broccoli, carrots, onions, zucchini and yellow squash). My daughter had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries, and the granddaughter had a grilled chicken breast servied with mac & cheese and mixed veggies. The kid’s menu had a nice variety from the boring chicken fingers. My water was refilled without my having to ask, and my daughter was given pop refills. The only miss was our server asked if we wanted bread while we were waiting and she didn’t bring it. I reminded her and then it was still several minutes before she did. I’m still exploring Niles, but I am thinking this is one of the better restaurants in town.

Ate here for the first time last weekend. Very nice inside. Not stuffy, but upscale. They have a good wine selection. The menu seemed to be pretty well rounded too. My wife and I both had the Prime rib dinner. It was cooked perfect and was actually a real piece of prime rib… for those of you who love prime rib you’ll know what I mean by this. it seems like finding a real piece of prime rib is rare anymore… it was cooked perfectly… we both had the BLT salad I believe?.. it was pretty good. I didn’t think it was anything to rave about, but pretty good. I had the green chili mac and cheese and my wife had the sautéed spinach. Both were really good. I the mac i cheese does have some spice kick as you would expect from a green chili mac. The only issue we had was that our servicer was kind of slow. From the time we sat down and the time we left it took almost 1 –½ hours. With no app and no desert… thats a little too long for me. We actually had ordered desert, but it was just taking way to long and we cancelled it. I would go back to this place again though in hopes of a quicker server.

This is absolutely our best«go to» restaurant in our area! Service and food is always good! In mall so be ready to drop off your guest(s) park and walk a reasonable distance. Don’t hesitate to make special requests(like splitting meals). They really want guests to have a good experience. Bar and 4 to 6 menus available.

Rarely … I mean rarely can I give a restaurant 5 stars. My experience at this place was SPOTON … It was Thursday, 8:00pm. I was cheerfully greeted at the door and taken to a very comfortable seat. The décor is upscale with a big city vibe and yet there is a balance of warm masculine stone and thick wood beams. The smell of burning wood lends itself to a feeling of a woodsmen’s lodge. You truly lose the idea of being in a Mall! I felt welcomed and eagerly awaited the selection they had to offer for the evening. The menu is not huge… but well planned out… there is something for everyone. I’d rather have a few things done well than pages of mediocre food you’d find at a diner. The servers seem to work well together and appeared to like their job. My server knew the menu, listened to my special request and offered ’ off the menu ’ items. He also suggested a wine paring from their extensive wine list. I ordered the wood fired salmon with fresh vegetables and sautéed spinach. AMAZING. Done to perfection. Nice portion size… with a lil left over for lunch. I STRONGLY recommend the flour less chocolate cake! Give this place a try for any occasion.

Disappointing. The outside is beautiful. The inside is even more beautiful. It’s all stone and warm woods, low mood lighting. The bar is GORGEOUS, there’s a lovely patio off of it or sit inside by the stone fireplace. Step into the sitting area and the one wall is covered in wine bottles, the kitchen is open to see the woodfire grill going, and it’s just a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff is friendly, warm, and inviting. That is unfortunately where the good ends. The menu is very lacking. When I go to a woodfire grill, I expect a good selection of steak, chicken, and seafood. Not so much. There was a whole THREE chicken dishes, one of which was a salad. There was only a few seafood dishes as well. And some meals were basically copies of each other with only one or two things different. They can have an extensive wine list, but not the variety of dishes to back it up. The food itself? Pass. The«fresh bread» wasn’t very good at all. And when the steak fries are better than the steak… I got fillet mignon. Despite it being cooked to proper temp and being tender, the rest was a joke. The port reduction sauce with mushrooms? Horrible. The steak had ZERO seasoning. No salt, no pepper. The only flavor to it was the sauce, which we established was terrible. Convenient that the manager who had been walking around the space and talking to a couple right next to us was no where to be found after we got our food. Basically, no matter how gorgeous the place and nice the staff, I refuse to pay premium prices for lousy quality steak. I’ll pay the same price for Texas Roadhouse, which is just on the other side of the mall complex. They actually season their meat.

Classy & sophisticated(except that one time an employee was passed out at a table) with excellent libations and cuisine. The ambience is fresh & cool with dark oak & a great multi-colored wall display you see to your left as you walk in. The prices are moderate to expensive, but well worth it.

I finally made my way to try one of their burgers after seeing the advertisement on TV. I was very impressed. I got the Smoke Burger with seasoned steak fries and a side of ranch. The burger was cooked to my liking and tasted great. The steak fries that were supposed to be seasoned were Not. The ranch was pretty damn good. Now the service was fantastic. My waitress was Amber P. and she was extremely friendly. Nice personality and made my mom laugh a few good times. While sitting there I observed the atmosphere. I noticed a waiter named Rob. He was amazing with his customers. Explained the specials and was just all around professional and enthusiastic. I watched him the whole time I was there. Every waiter should learn from Rob. Rob and Amber, I give you both 5 starts.

Pretty impressed with Firebirds. When my associates picked the restaurant and told me it was at the Eastwood Mall, I was skeptical. We arrived at 5:45pm and were seated quickly, even asking to be seated at a 4 top, instead of the 6 top booth we were taken too … no issues. We ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna for a appetizer — wonderful! Several of us has the mixed green salads with balsamic vinaigrette dressing and blue cheese crumbles. Salad was prepared and presented well, salad includes small pieces of green apples, candied pecans and such — excellent. For dinner, one associate had a chicken(grilled) salad, another had the Slow Roasted Prime Rib(as did I), and yet another the Filet Mignon. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service. Steaks were cooked perfectly! The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a modern style with a fireplace and comfortable seating. Our server asked about desserts and recommended the seasonal strawberry dessert, which looked good — but dinner was quite filling. One item to mention … make your side item the Green Chile Mac-n-Cheese. Very good! I’m betting the SouthWest Au Gratin potatoes are delicious as well, we saw a few tables ordering them and they all seemed happy. We enjoyed dinner… the food, the service, and the restaurant atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Pricing was very reasonable, especially for the quality of food, décor, and service received. We also had cocktails at the bar prior to dinner and the bartenders were very personable and served our drinks quickly.

This was a hard one to muster. To begin, the one star this place actually gets goes to the amazing service. The waitresses and bartenders here are awesome and if I could rate them 5⁄5 and everything else 0⁄5 I absolutely would, and here is why: We have many amazing restaurants in this area who excel in all of the cuisines offered at this restaurant and have done it extremely well for decades at amazing prices with outstanding service and quality. This restaurant is a corporately owned façade of upper class. This place charges Cleveland prices for food I would never serve to a dog. I have had numerous meals here from their covered steaks, appetizers, sandwiches, and extensively enjoyed their bar service. The kitchen here is an absolute joke. They have a state of the art point of sale system that front of house staff uses properly, yet kitchen workers and chefs blatantly ignore special notes and requests when it is sent directly to them. Steaks ordered medium well come out with a warm pink center way too large to not be properly classified as medium rare not medium well, which is a big deal to someone who appreciates steak. Sandwiches are messy and hard to handle, almost never coming out as advertised in the menu. Side of fries served with sandwiches here are also a joke in terms of quantity. They are called seasoned fries and come out plain as fresh cut potatoes, not even salt. I’ve paid outrageous prices here for mediocre food. Meanwhile there’s $ 150,000+ worth of premium liquor on the wall for decoration, and unfortunately I don’t overpay for crappy food just because the atmosphere is inviting, which it is. This is not the place to eat here unless you’re striving to prove something or you’re a snob looking to overpay for crap food to appear trendy or otherwise«better». Disgusting. Gordan Ramsey would consider this place ghastly, and it is an insult to the amazing food and culture in this area. Just because it exists in a prime mall location doesn’t make it worth it’s face value. This is my honest opinion and while it is harsh, you don’t make it out here by biting your tongue.

My parents live in Austintown and we go to Firebirds for special occasions.(Birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day etc) and every time we have been here, the food is fantastic, and the service is amazing! Ask for Rob if it’s your first time dining here. Rob is by far the best server I have ever had at any restaurant! Our first time there, he did a fantastic job describing certain items on the menu and made my mouth water over seafood(and I am not a seafood person!) Try the fillet medallions, you will not be disappointed!

The atmosphere here is sophisticated & inviting. Warm & welcoming staff. The bread they bring out before your meal –is awesome. Crusty on the outside and warm & soft in the inside. The butter melts quickly when applied in the inside. The lunch specials were very good and affordable. The only reason I wouldn’t give them a five star is because menu is small(only like five or six lunch specials and that’s it) and when I asked for parmasean cheese for my pasta, they were going to charge me… Thank goodness they gave it to me free of charge. That’s like going to a restaurant and ordering fries, and they try to charge you for the ketchup! If they try to nickel & dime you for stuff like that, just bring your own from home. The service(Brittany)was on point though, drinks always refilled, always checking on us, but not smothering. Good place to try with family or friends!

Great food in this area! Everything is cooked fresh in house, and the steaks are wet-aged & delicious! This is my husband’s and my favorite steak place in the area. We always have fun here with family and friends. Love the décor and ambience too. It doesn’t feel like you are in Youngstown area. The wall of wine and backlit bar are my favorite features. Clean bathrooms. Jess is our favorite waitress and is amazing. For the most part, we have had good service here whether for lunch or dinner, weekend or weekday.

One of those occasions one stumbled upon a true gem. Passing through NILES en-route to the Poconos we found Firebirds by happenstance. Pretty non descript area at best yet lurking within was this amazing place. One of my measures of a great restaurant is the ability to do amazing basic simple dishes(its mind blowing how many places drop the ball in this regard). My simple $ 10 dollar hamburger was literally one of the best I’ve ever had. perfectly cooked the hamburger quality was that of a 5 star restaurant and the bun perfect the side of tots had a hint of truffle oil and perfect rock salt. The menu has a plethora of solid plays… filet mignon, wood smoked salmon, parmesan crusted Mahi. all in the 20 dollar range. Whats even more mind blowing these guys are a chain… Firebirds you guys rock!!! This place is a destination spot If your in Ohio look for them and checkitout!

Restaurant hours says open till 10:00. Pulled in at 9:20 to watch the end of a ball game, and have a drink. No food. Had to listen to a waitress standing out back smoking with the cooks say«is he seriously coming in here?» Such a warm welcome. Manager/bartender made up for it though. Had a pleasant conversation while enjoying my 1 drink. And yes, I left by 10:00

Food is excellent, especially the port wine mushrooms. Décor is reminiscent of places in New York City, it’s really cool. Portobello sandwich was phenomenal. Grilled chicken sandwich was great too. I haven’t had a bad meal here yet.
