Great play on pizza. Some of the best on the central coast. Local and delicious! Plus, they have beer on tap. Thats always a plus.

I hesitated a little after reading some reviews, but noticing they were quite old I decided to give Pi Whole a try. I am glad I did! I picked up two pizzas and both were hot and delicious. The crust has a crisp crunch and the toppings were plenty. I definitely recommend giving Pi Whole a try, this may be my favorite pizza spot in Nipomo.

A hole pizzeria. The owner needs to go to Chicago or New York and take cooking classes. Then he will see his pizza or whatever he calls it is c rap.

The pizza is amazing! But how I wish they would fix their booth seats, and install air conditioning.

Since I couldn’t access my former Unilocal account, I decided to start a new one so my visit to this place was a couple of months ago. Pizza is pricey and just meh. Wasn’t anything to brag about. No tasty sauce or amazing crust. It is what it is. Baffled by the lack of customer service. It was very basic. No hello when you walked in even though there was just a sprinkle of people there and no thanks, come again when your whole family leaves. Not a single bye. Girl comes and clears our plates and reaches over us when we are mid drink. Barely says a word. Will it keep me from returning… yeah, probably so. It’s a pet peeve to see a family run business which wasn’t booming with people and they don’t care enough to welcome the people who do come in and thank them for coming. I’ll definitely spend my money someplace else. Been here twice. That’s enough.

No way! The owner of this establishment behaved like an absolute jerk! I’ve never experienced worse customer service in my entire life. Upon questioning my order(it tasted as though the patty of ground beef had been frozen too long) he slapped my money on the counter, yelled«people like you are too nice so there must be something wrong with you», and threw a metal paper towel holder at me. I called the sheriffs department.

I went in w/a goofy smile on my face, anticipating that I would experience the abusive treatment that so many Unilocalers have reported on. And so I was a little disappointed when the guy wasn’t rude to me after all. I perked up a little when he chucked my credit card at me instead of handing it back, but alas, the rest of the time he was perfectly nice. I’ve read that the place is owned by Phil Silver, who is assisted with his 2 sons and his daughter-in-law, Jacque. I’m not sure which of these gentlemen is the one w/the notorious anger-management issues, but Jacque made our delicious pizzas and was very polite and professional. We ordered 3 pizzas, all 10″. They were all good. Depending on your taste in pizza, you might even say they were great. CRUST: Very thick and fluffy, with a very yeasty fresh-baked smell. So if you like thick crust, this is your place. SAUCE: Personally, I liked the sauce a lot. There was more than I usually like but if you’re into a lot of sauce, this is your place. It also had a little smokiness and a little heat. When I commented that it had a bit of a kick to it, my kids agreed but decided that they liked it that way. TOPPINGS: All of the toppings seemed fresh and generously portioned. Not too much, not too little. Because of the thick crust, ample sauce, and generous portions, I would probably call Pi Whole pizza a deep-dish pizza. I’m more of a thin pizza type, myself, but I can see how a lot of people would really love to dig into this stuff. Well made! The establishment itself is very comfortable and attractive. It’s the pizza parlour ambience that horrible Me ‘n Ed’s wishes they had. I didn’t find the prices too onerous at all! Maybe if you’re used to Domino’s it seems pricey. But when you order a 10″ pizza for $ 10, you actually get a lot of really good pizza. Come on, 2 years ago I paid $ 14.50 for the same sized pizza at Me ‘n Eds and it was smaller and tasted horrible(read my review). NOTE: It sounds like the owner has earned himself some haters so beware of a few of the hostile reviews. Pinto P and Prasan P ONLY write terrible, terrible reviews. Same person? Related? This is Rex D’s only review and it sounded more like a competitor slinging mud. Still, there are plenty of believable bad reviews. You can’t make some of those stories up!
