For a bowling alley, the food is actually pretty good. Tavern 45 is actually a restaurant, inside of the bowling alley, and not your typical alley food. They have mostly pub food(read: burgers/wings). The wings come in a variety of flavors, instead of the typical«mild, medium, hot». We ordered two different flavors to try them out. First I must say, these wings had more meat on them than most wing places i have been to. 8 wings filled me up(normally I can kill a dozen). Lemon Pepper — Dry rub, great flavor, and not too salty. Had a little bit of a kick, but not what you’d expect from a typical lemon pepper, but the flavor was good. Garlic Parmesan — Oily, decent flavor, not too garlicy, but needs more Parmesan. Although the wings were«oily», they weren’t soaking in disgusting grease. I think they use a garlic or olive oil to give the wings the flavor and toss them. I wish the flavor was a little stronger, or had more cheese(because I love parmesan) but overall they weren’t bad and I didn’t feel like I could kill a vampire by breathing in his face after. The Garlic Parmesan fries are the bomb(is that still a phrase?). Tossed in the same flavoring oils as the wings, they were still super crispy and I’d hazard to say had more flavor than the wings. But once again, give me some more cheese please! Why the 3⁄5 stars? Well, service was kind of absent and hit or miss. There was only one person working between the bar, and all of the tables, which seemed extremely understaffed for a Friday night. Our server was very nice, but definitely stretched thin trying to keep a tab on all the tables. Not her fault, but management should staff some more people on busy nights.

Lemonade sucked Seems over priced, probably because it is in the bowling ally. Server was on it! She was quick and efficient. When the food can the price was justified. This wasn’t your typical bowling ally food. The food was of a much higher quality and the flavors were professionally put together for a very savory and satisfying meal.

This is the food service for bowlers at Brunswick Zone Norcross. This is the second time I’ve ordered off the nenu while bowling. Although the bowling staff is great, the kitchen here needs work. When we came on a busy Saturday night(party of 2), we ordered 2 alcoholic drinks, which never were delivered after an hour of bowling. Second visit, Tuesday 5pm. There’s maybe 4 other people here bowling. The shrimp entrée does not come with cocktail sauce(they don’t have it), my jerked wings ended up being Korean honey BBQ wings. All 4 entrees were delivered without sauces(ie rancj, blue cheese) and not at same time. Food quality is ok, they just don’t get orders right first time. Very aggravating. Hate that servers tips suffer because of lack of detail/accuracy of kitchen. Remodel is excellent!

This was a company outing had an open bar tab. Bar staff and wait staff were great people. Any drink you name, they could deliver and it was well made. Clean cool bar fit for every type. The bar seats were really comfortable. The prices on the menu were within reason for the type of drinks, but seeing this was an open tab. I have no clue what the final damage was. If your looking for a nice change to the traditional bar and bowling, check tavern45 out. It’s a cool spot I can easily return to. Great experience.

«Shockingly good» is the only way to describe Tavern 45. I’ve been twice now and never cease to be amazed by how great the food really is. Tavern 45 is in a bowling alley. That alone evokes thoughts of hours old hot dogs, stale nachos, and Budweisers served to you by a chain smoking disgruntled line cook named Earl. Think again! Tavern 45 is upscale bar food. I would happily go here just to eat and drink and could skip the bowling altogether. The best part about Tavern 45 is that they have INCREDIBLE deals. Brunswicks has a weekday lunch special consisting of an hour of bowling and lunch for $ 15. You have a server who comes to your lane just like you’re sitting at a table at a normal restaurant. I had the vegetarian pizza(and bowled a 57). The pizza was fresh, gourmet, and enough for lunch and dinner. It’s also normally $ 13, so to get bowling and the pizza for $ 15 is a great deal in my book. My latest bowling adventure involved work happy hour, which lent itself to entirely different dining specials. We sat in the bar for about 30 minutes waiting on everyone to arrive. The bartender was super awesome. He was more than happy to let us sample the summer ales they had on tap and gave us great tips on the half-off appetizers. That’s right, all apps are half-off for happy hour. Their version of Outback cheese fries is spectacular. It’s a plate of fries covered in cheese, bacon, and scallions. They are far less greasy than the Outback version, aka I didn’t think I was going to have a heart attack while bowling(a 116 this time!). It’s never been crowded when I’ve gone, which makes me kind of sad for Tavern 45 because literally all of the suburbanites should be hanging out here. Great food, great service, and really great deals. I’ll be back often.

We came to the bowling alley for Father’s day to go bowling, and managed to end up eating the food here and grabbing some drinks. They have one a very good job with the menu and the variety of drinks, as well as throwing some pools tables, shuffle boards, and corn hole into the mix. We ate a few items off the snack menu, and they were enough to enjoy while you drink some beer, although nothing heavy that will fill you up and put you in bed for the night.

Shockingly good food… at a bowling alley! Tavern 45 is a semi-separate full service restaurant attached to the main entertainment center. There’s a separate entrance for the restaurant, a bar and a patio. There’s also an entrance from the bowling alley. You can order the full menu while you bowl, or sit down and eat at the restaurant. We decided to eat and then bowl, so we wouldn’t have to pay for lane time while we ate. Peachtree Corners has lacked a chain bar and grill(Since the Chili’s and Applebees) for quick, reliable, casual dining. Tavern 45 fills this void. I’d return to Tavern 45 for the food even if I wasn’t bowling The menu is upscale tavern food. It’s also well planned for snacking while bowling. About half of the dishes are small plates and pizzas. They also have a good selection of sandwiches and burgers. Our table tried the pork belly tacos, the reuben panini, and two pizzas. The pizzas were great. They’re a very generous portion for one person, probably sharable if you got a small plate or two. The reuben had great flavor. But the portion size seemed a little small for the price point. The sandwich was on a ciabata roll about 5 inches long and the fries would be a small order at a fast food restaurant. The fries were the weakest item, slightly limp and soggy. I’d order the reuben again, but I’d try a different side and plan to order an appetizer or dessert as well. The pork belly tacos were also a hit. They were a little heavy on the onions. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices are a little on the high side for the style of dining, but the quality is above average as well. For me, thinking of bowling alley food conjurers images of stale«nachos», questionable hot dogs and warm Bud Light in plastic cups. I’d heard good things about the renovated Brunswick lanes, but I was still a little hesitant about eating here. I was super impressed by Brunswick’s new concept. I’d definitely recommend a visit. See my review of Brunswick’s for more details on the bowling.

Wonderful food! I would go here for happy hour and apps even if I was not bowling. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The server recommended the fish tacos and burgers and it was a great choice. Perfect flavors and fresh high end ingredients. Unfortunately I have to take off one star due to the chicken and waffles issue. Our table placed one order but 5 minutes after all the other entrees were delivered the manager came to say the waffle maker was broken. They had us order another entrée, for free, but it did not arrive until after everyone else was finished with their meal. This made things ackward for the one person with no food.

Wow! This is actually a destination stop JUSTFORLUNCHORDINNER. Bowling can be a bonus if you want. I know it sounds crazy but the food is gourmet and really really good. All apps are excellent especially the wings. Pizza’s are gourmet and fresh. Paninni’s are high quality and delicious. Burgers have a great taste. I guarantee this is one of the nicest bowling alley’s in the country. They really upscaled it and made it classy if you can imagine bowling being classy! Just go to eat or take the family or bowl and eat. Its a great date night, family night eat out night whatever! I sound nuts but you wont be disappointed!

Went here for wifey’s birthday bash(well, the real bash was at Melting Pot, but we actually went to Taverna ’45 on her birthday. Actually, we only went here because she wanted to go bowling and Taverna ’45 is attached to the Brunswick bowling alley in Norcross… BUT…DONOTLETTHATSTOPYOUFROMGOINGHEREFORDINNER!(or lunch) For an appetizer, we had«Eggs and Bacon»…which was deviled eggs and candied bacon. The deviled eggs were the best either of us has had in the Atlanta area… and the candied bacon just made them even better… what a great app! For dinner, wifey had the Pulled Pork sandwich with chips and I had the Turkey sandwich with Fries. Both were large enough to share(we brought half of each one home!)…and the sides were really good. The sandwiches were very good as well! All of the food was great! For dessert(on the house, since it was wifey’s birthday), we shared a… well…I cannot remember exactly what it was… but…I do recall that it was quite good! So…why only 4 stars? Well, the service was a bit spotty. This might be due to them being new, so I will revise after visiting again… if warranted.
