Really enjoyed our meal here. Chicken coconut soup was delightful. Pad Thai was just like I like it – a hint of sweetness, but not syrupy. When we were there, early on a Saturday evening, it was quiet, nearly empty. Service was fine, nothing remarkable.

My husband and I came for lunch on Saturday. They serve lunch from Monday through Saturday. Price is decent, atmosphere is clean upscale modern and service is excellent. We ordered Pad Thai and Royal Spicy Basil chicken. At first we were served spring roll then tofu soup and then our entrée in a perfect timing. Pad Thai — very good. The presentation is very unique unlike a regular pad thai we are used to, noodle was wrapped inside an omelet, it was seasoned perfectly and delicious. Royal spicy basil — very good. They cooked in the authentic way. Ground chicken with fried egg. The sauce is balanced, not overly salty or sweet however could have been better if it had a little more kick. 20 layers crêpe cake — I won’t leave this place without having this cake. This came puts Lady M version of crêpe cake to shame. Padan cream sauce and fresh strawberries complemented the cake beautifully. Not to sweet. We enjoyed a lot and will be back!

I haven’t written a review in a long time, got tired of contributing content to an unappreciative site. I am breaking my silence not for the lame Unilocal staff, but because I feel strongly about this restaurant. For starters, we were greeted at the door by the owner’s mom. The restaurant was bery clean and very elegant. We were presented with very fancy menus. We ordered Pennang curry with chicken, Dee-U-I, and Dada’s noodles. We also ordered spring rolls as appetizers. All the food was delicious! The flavors were impressive, and the portions were more than adequate, unlike most Thai places. The wait staff was on top of our drinks and empty plates. It really was a wonderful dinner experience. But wait… there’s more! We topped off dinner eith a crêpe cake. We saw the pictures, and had to try it. AWESOME!!! Words cannot adequately describe the heavenly taste and texture of that cake! We are hooked! New restaurant in our rotation! Chicken dishes and the Dada noodles were $ 11 each.

They’re back! The original owner is back and whupping ass with her food. There are a lot of neighborhood Thai restaurants but Royal Bistro is good enough to qualify as a destination restaurant. It is for me. Been several times and it never disappoints.

Royal Bistro scores really high in my book for its successful reinvention of Asian Fusion. I drive by this area every day. Therefore, after a few years of restaurant turn over, I was curious to see what would be next. It was a pleasant surprise to walk in and see a familiar face. And while the menu choices(and owner) were still recognizable, the flavors and presentation of each entry was both creative and fresh. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought and attention into every detail. It is a smaller(intimate) restaurant. Therefore, it’s only a matter of time before word travels and they get really busy. This is a great place for lunch, date night, or dinner with the entire family. You won’t be disappointed.

Royal Bistro is amazing! I have been there twice now for lunch and recommended it to at least a dozen people. I love the ginger chicken and the desserts are out of this world. The owner came to my table both times and was very attentive as well as the server.

Royal Bistro opened a few weeks ago and is located in Spalding Centre on Spalding Dr., near the corner of Holcomb Bridge Rd. I discovered Royal Bistro on Unilocal. The images of the whole red snapper and 20-layer crêpe cake looked appetising. Other restaurants have previously occupied this space, but I never visited. A small selection of wines are available and one of the owners mentioned to me that the wine list and menu are evolving. Although I typically do not drink Chardonnay, I ordered a glass of one of the house wines; Salmon Creek Chardonnay. It was an okay pairing with what I ordered. I ordered the Green Coco with chicken. The dish consists of a split grilled chicken breast prepared with a green coconut curry sauce with basil, bell pepper, green peas and other vegetables. The presentation was excellent. The dish is accompanied with jasmine rice. The dish was excellent. Green curry is my favourite next to panang curry. The 20 layer crêpe cake is as good as it looks. Light, fluffy and not overly sweet. It is served with a sweet green pandan sauce and garnished with a strawberry. I finished with a cup of lemongrass tea. Although there are two dining areas, overall, this is not a large restaurant. The interior looks good and it has an intimate atmosphere. Service was attentive. After speaking with one of the owners I can tell that they value feedback and strive to offer good food and service. A QR code is located at the footer of the receipt; this restaurant uses OwnerListens to collect feedback from customers.

Ok I waited until my 10th visit to leave nothing but a flat out 5* … Consistency /flavor and attention to details are my main concern and trust me they never let me down throughout all my visits. I dine out about 5 times a week and so far this place here is my first choice for Asian cuisine offering verities and QUALITY !! The Shrimp Pad Thai has to be one of my favorite with the old fashion presentation they serve, and I also have to add the Red Snapper which is to die for. Don’t hesitated and give this place a try asap.

Well this time my wife and I visited on a Friday night and once again the meal and experience were exceptional! Appetizers of Royal Shrimp(LARGE) and Basil Rolls, both with outstanding dipping sauces. Entrees were Dee-U-I(think Drunken Noodles) and Spicy Basil Chicken were perfectly cooked and the presentations were beautifully plated. The balance of flavors and attentive service will bring us back often! The description of Asian Fusion might have scared me away as I usually find it to be Asian«Confusion». Not in this case, trust the service and kitchen staffs, they produce awesome Thai food in a great atmosphere!

Pad Thai noodles folded in a thin egg crêpe. So happy to find out that an old family friend has just re-opened their restaurant in the same location as over 20 years ago. Her daughter used to babysit me as a kid and I used to work here as a teenager. Nostalgic, authentic Thai food that I grew up on. This will be my new weekly spot. Excited to go back and try their Sunday special Bangkok Street food menu!

The best Thai restaurant in Atlanta period. I am a foodie and love Thai food. The original owner is back and the food is even better than the original. The remodel is beautiful. Please don’t fall for the reviews at other places. Come here instead, you will not be disappointed. If this restaurant was in mid town or downtown you would not be able to get in the door. At the end of your meal try the twenty layer crêpe cake. Never had a dessert that good. I have tried them all and this is over the top if you love food.

The most amazing thai food experience I have ever had! Unique, flavorful dishes served w love and care. You must try the soft shell crab roll appetizer, pud thai, and OMG the 24 layer crêpe cake — so light and yummy. The warm, loving atmosphere and unique versions of what would normally be basic thai dishes are just PERFECT! Don’t miss this experience
