Buffalo Wild Wings

You’ll find that the menu revolves around burgers and chicken. Pretty typical bar and grill and for anyone familiar with the brand, this will more or less meet your expectations.
Stacked with flat screen TVs, this is definitely a nice place to catch a game in Norfolk. Outdoor seating is available here but it abuts a fairly busy alley way.
My one time here I ordered boneless chicken wings with Asian zing sauce. I felt the chicken crunch against my teeth and the seasoning teased my tongue with somewhere between sweet and spicy.
I was a little unhappy with waiting for 9 minutes to just have an order taken. I was also disappointed at the length of time that my water glass sat empty; neglecting my bone dry glass when serving spicy food is just poor practice.
I came in for dinner and I hear they have a fifteen minute service guarantee for lunch.

Ugh this waS the worse dinner I ever had! Unfortunately I let my kids convince me to go to this place, I’m not a fan of chain restaurants. We walked in around 7pm. The place was very busy, we got seated really quick. We order the sampler platter, wings, and I got wings combo. I told the girl I like spicy so she recommended Parmesan garlic wings, and Asian zinc. Ok, our order took a while but they where busy. Got our food, we where missing someone’s fries, and coleslaw, no silver wear or napkins. Asked the waitress for all that… The food looked good, but was nasty! The boneless wings tasted like freezer burn dip in sauce. They where not spicy at all ugh. 10 min later still no napkins, no fries, no one has ever came to check on us. Waitress is really busy chatting with other guests. But, the 6 ppl next to us got two beers while we been waiting to get more soft drinks. Finally I yell for waitress, remind her of at least the napkins! 10 min later she brought them. I cancel fries, then I get fries and told them I already cancel. I got a refill drink when I asked for my check. Which by the way the waiter asked three tables around us if that was their check before they figure out it was mine, It was the worse worse service ever!!! And the worse food! The Only thing I can imagine as why the place is pack is because ppl drink and watch games, or they have no taste buds, or they just like frozen nasty food. I will never go back here, unless I really want a beer which is never. Yuck!

Had just left a concert at the Norva and we headed here being the closest and LOVE bdubs wings. The waiter I guess didn’t like our «crowd type» as he had a smug look on his face since the moment we sat down (just 2 of us at a bar high top). Ordered a draft beer that he clearly forgot about because when I reminded him he got it from the bar and where the head should have been, there was just 2 inches of beer missing from the 22oz glass

Restauraunt was sub par. It was dirty inside. Bathroom was even worse. Ordered some boneless wings. They tasted like they were cooked much earlier and reheated before they sauced them and served them to us. Even the carrot and celery sticks were pretty poor quality. They were kind of slimy. Service was acceptable I suppose. A fly of some sorts landed in our basket half way through the meal. We will not be returning as there are many other choices in the area that would be better.

I frequent many Buffalo Wild Wings. But this is the first time I’ve been given a Fast Break lunch menu and then purposely been ignored until happy hour just to invalidate the lunch menu. I came at this time to get lunch. Didn’t even want the happy hour menu. How about ask next time before assuming?

Normal BWW, but it’s convenient and has great service most of the time I visit.

Came to this establishment since it is conveniently close to the Scope. It was decided that we should’ve gone somewhere else.
Food:
I forget the name of my burger, but it was a burger with chicken tenders. Admittedly, this wasn’t bad. I wanted wings and I wanted a burger, and I wasn’t going to order the snack size of wings as a side for the price they were asking. I got to choose the sauce, and I chose Wild. I really thought that it was second to last on the spiciest scale, but maybe I misread it. I could not taste the «spicey» at all, not even the lady. It’s possible the kitchen messed up. Overall, the sandwich wasn’t the bad at all. The fries were okay in flavor, but they look pitiful. They are some very thin looking fries, and very little came with burger — thanks for weight watching? The buffalo Mac n cheese was ordered by the lady. I will say this upfront, I highly recommend that you don’t order it. In fact, I dare to ask why it’s still on the menu. Yes, it’s a comprise for if you are craving wings and Mac and cheese — but it didn’t even look appetizing when it came to the table. It was dry, the noodles weren’t gooed up in cheese, and the bread crumbs on it just seemed unattached to the whole meal. It tasted like a meal that was zapped in the microwave for too long.
Drinks:
I recommend you stick to beer when here, unless it’s a super simple mixed drink. How does a Long Island iced tea taste almost identical to a Margarita? The drinks were overly sweet and tasted like the mixers served with ice. The cranberry vodka that a friend ordered wasn’t bad, this is an example of a simple drink I would order here.
Service:
The waitress was very attentive, and thank goodness for that. The kitchen staff were on point, since we didn’t have to wait an ungodly amount of time. The stars go out to them, even though I’m not sure if I messed up or they messed up on the spice level of my sandwich.
Ambience:
Hard to tell. It wasn’t busy, which is helpful. It is definitely a sports bar that people can come watch games — there’s plenty of TVs for that. My friends ordered the tablets to play Trivia, which is an awesome thing that is offered. I am happy that it wasn’t busy.
Will I come back? Sure, for a beer or two.

I’m writing this review because I saw it had two stars but doesn’t deserve such a low rating.
Been coming here for three years now with friends when we all finish classes and I’ve never been disappointed. Service is pretty decent, sometimes really good! One time I celebrated my birthday here and had a party of about 25 people and we got our food in a decent amount of time.
The food is great too. I admit, sometimes, the wings are dry. That’s usually when it’s busy tho. Otherwise, I’ve never had a problem with the wings.
That’s basically it.

We had a very pleasant time here ! We were seated immediately. The hostess made sure our table was cleaned and our server was superb !! We will definitely come back if we are ever in the neighborhood again !!

This place is trash… Every time I have come here my wings come out cold and dry. I am here right now and have been waiting on new wings that got sent back 40 minutes ago, when the manager brought out the new wings they barely had any sauce on them at all so basically just plain dry wings. If I were you I’d just go to a sports bar and get food and beer this b dubs is terrible.

Service was terrible. Theres a reason why they are two stars. Our waitress took 10 minutes to bring change for a dollar.
The manager Mike Lee gave us more attention than our waitress.

Its buffalo wild wings. I came in during a playoff game, so of course it was packed. The waiter was kinda slow getting there but made up for it with the quickness that he brought our house sampler. The sampler split between two people was actually quite filling The mozzarella sticks were gooey and alright but the nachos left you searching for chili. The boneless wings which we got mango habernero had a nice flavor but were crunchy. I ordered the wings and my wife ordered the barbecue chicken sandwich. I ordered three flavors, dessert heat, reformulated blazin, and Thai curry. Reformulated blazin did not disappoint. So much heat it almost hurt. The dessert heat was not the heat equivalent on the dry side like the menu suggested and left me wanting more than seasoning dust on my wings. Thai curry had no flavor to me and was overshadowed in heat and savoriness by the reformulated blazin. All in all not a drab experience but the gift card machine was down which didn’t make us smile on the customer service side. All in all. The Panthers won.

I top the stars on this place at 4 only because it’s a chain restaurant. I expect quality and consistency in the food due to supply. I have to say that this location is usually busy but I’ve never experienced slow or poor service.
I’ve been here a number of times and typically sit in the bar area. Every time I’ve sat down there is a server at the table in minutes and the food come fairly quickly even on busy weekend nights when there are multiple games going on.
Without fail I get the fried pickles to start. These are the best pickles I’ve had regardless of restaurant. For a main my go-​to is of course the wings. I enjoy the wings here over other chain wing restaurants. They aren’t as greasy and the options of sauces are lengthy.
Tonight I went with the Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. I wasn’t disappointed. The chicken was moist and filled the sandwich. More importantly the bread stood up to the sauce and didn’t get mushy.
Overall I really enjoy BWW.

Worst service EVER at a BWW. My wife and I sat at the high tops for lunch with maybe four other tables occupied. Took at least 10 minutes to get just out drinks. Then another 5 to take our order. So we placed our app and lunch order at the same time. Took 11 min for app to come out an 29 for lunch to come out in a mostly empty restaurant. You could tell my wings had sat under the warmers for a while. My wife’s fries were warm and that is being REAL generous. The server only checked on us one time. Should have just asked for our lunch in to go boxes.

I came in for a nosh. Asian zing wings, boneless, to be exact. I also had a glass of their Buffalo Zoo. I was worried that it would be too strong, with all the booze they put in, and punch me in the face. It was surprisingly balanced though. It was very nice; and who doesn’t love a nice cherry on top?
The wings were awesome. The asian zing sauce; I love it. They sell it in the bottles too. It reminds me of sweet and sour sauce; but spicier. Great inbetween sauce.
The waitress was very friendly and attentive. She kept asking me if I wanted to add anything to my order; great salesmanship. All in all it was a pleasant experience. This trip was a definite thumbs up, no two. Why the heck not, a foot as well. Lol

Me and a friend went here for lunch one day, around 12:00. Our server Beth had a party that she was trying to close out, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt but that doesn’t excuse the experience we had. We sat at the table for 30 minutes before she finally came back and took our order. We were here only table after the party left, and it wasn’t busy at all. A few tables but that was it. We both ordered lunch specials and an appetizer. 25 minutes later our wings and fries came out. But never the the appetizer, after I was done with my meal then the appetizer came out. Which at this point I clearly didn’t want. The food wasn’t even that good. This will be the last time I will come to this location.
The two stars are for the captain who came to our table to check on if we needed anything.

Well, usually enjoy occasional trips to Buffalo Wild Wings, but was very unimpressed tonight. Our chicken nachos came out quickly, they were a little on the dry side, but I didn’t mind terribly as I had a nice cold beer. We finished the nachos and I ordered another beer. After about another 30 minutes we asked about our wings which still haven’t arrived. About two minutes later they arrived with the explanation that the kitchen was really backed up. Well, the temperature of the wings told a different story as they were quite cold. Low marks for service and quality. I bumped up 1 star for the bartender who was at least attentive and friendly.
Bottom line, look elsewhere.

I love their Tuesday and Thursday wing happy hour deals but it is always terribly busy at that time… Asian zing sauce is the best and their french fries are awesome! The waitstaffs and managers were kind and attentive!

Sunday afternoon.
Didn’t see that busy for what I would have expected to be the lunch rush period. Perhaps because some people cook on Sundays.
There is a very long bench along the front window where you wait to be seated. I’m glad they have plenty of seating here because far to often at other establishments there is not adequate seating for guests and large parties waiting to be seated. I was greeted as soon as I entered and I sat alone on that long, long bench as I waited for my brother to find parking.
There is parking along the street facing the storefront, metered during the week, free on Sundays-​I was fortunate enough to find a spot here. There is not any parking on the side streets, but there are three garages as you make your way around the block. So there is adequate parking.
We were seated quickly and offered beverages. They did not have the raspberry iced tea that my brother inquired about but he did enjoy their regular lemonade. They offer about 3 lemonade flavors and three iced tea flavors.
A «captain» came around to check on us. The captain’s responsibility is to keep the customer happy and answer any questions we may have. Sara informed us of the new «lab flavors» and that they were out of two of the sauces but that they may be in tomorrow. Of course bro was about to get on the road for a six hour drive home so that was not helpful in our case. My wing lovin brother was curious about two of the flavors and inquired if there was a way to taste them. The Captain came over with a serving of fries and six squirt bottles. She squirted out samples of two flavors: sea salt caramel and Jamaican jerk. Oh how we dipped our fries and «sampled.» My brother got 5 of each flavor (traditional wings).
Excellent customer service. They asked us so many times if everything was satisfactory and refreshed the lemonade a few times.
Wings: They were very much enjoyed but my brother did not like what he described as «pretzel salt» atop the wings. He said it was unnecessary.

This is the first bdubs ive had where i thought the food was at least ok.
Our server was great! His 5 th day on the job and he was fantastic! Definitely tried hard.
The molten dip was actually really good (kinda surprised). The jerk chix sandwich was not good. Waaayy too much blackened seasoning. The chicken wrap was supposed to be chicken with ranch and hot sauce… no ranch and no hot sauce.
3 stars simply on atmosphere and the young man that was the server !
Definitely get the dip though. Super tasty!
