Chili’s Grill & Bar

No stars! The customer service is horrible! I asked the bartender a simple question because I was told by an employee that there was a military discount going on. The Bartender yelled a me and said I did not deserve it because I wasn’t a fallen soldier. I didn’t have a problem paying for my food, but it was very rude of her to yell! I would never come back to this place!

I have had so many bad experiences at this location but what am I going to do — drive all the way to Chesapeake to get my bean burger? — well we went last night and first problem was no soda! None! Okay fine give me water — well the waiter not one but twice brought my husband (who ordered tea) a beer!!! My husband hasn’t drank in 5 years and this guy keeps bringing him beer! Next problem my food is delivered and the waiter looks at my husband and says «we are out of flatbreads», why did he wait until my food was ready before he told anyone??? So fine just bring him chips and salsa– well I tell my husband when my food arrives get the check so I can eat and go — well you know I was done ordering before he actually came and picked up they bill (we were paying cash)! We literally were seconds from leaving without paying but I felt bad for the waiter because he had like 20 tables so the slow service wasn’t his fault — I promised my husband NEVER again — next time I need a bean burger I will drive to Chesapeake!

Staff is very nice. Most of them are enthusiastic making it nice to visit this location. Me and my boyfriend come here often and sit in the bar area. The area is clean and staff is very attentive to customers. The food is cooked really good here. However, when I had the chicken tenders one time– I did not like it. The batter tasted odd and the oil it was fried in could be tasted and tasted old. The managers are really great here too. There is a great sense of teamwork at this location and the managers are always working.

We stopped in on our way to the movies located on the same level in the mall. The food was good. We shared the fries appetizer. My husband had the steak (6oz). And I had the chicken fajitas. Both tasted very good. The bartender was pleasant. She was attentive asking several times how we were doing. I really appreciate the attention. The only drawback and it was big was the smell. The bar smelled of stale beer. It was early evening so I don’t think that was from today. Overall we enjoyed the dinner. Next time however we will get a table.

This place has gone down hill it’s crazy they sent us food that was so old that the quesadilla broke in half as soon as we touched it. The food was full of heavy salt. My chrispers were burnt but they sauced it up to hide the look, overall we got money back due to the dissatisfaction staff seems to be all over the place

Chili’s use to be my favorite restaurant unfortunately they have gone down hill on there customer service, food quality and taste.
Chili’s at MacArthur Center has been terrible the last few times I have gone. The service is terribly slow, just to get chips and salsa takes 30+ minutes, the food… Well another disappointment. I ordered the quesadilla explosion salad and it was more of a corn and black bean salsa than actual salad with lettuce. It’s extremely disappointing how the overall quality of Chili’s has gone down.
As far as customer service, we saw our waiter maybe three times tops. And the final time, when he gave me The check, all the wrong plates were charged, additional charges were marked. It was stressful to just try and get the bill correct. I probably won’t be back anytime soon and can only hope they fix a few things here and there… Starting with better customer service.

Food is great but they have a number of unprofessional staff working at this establishment. Too much loud joking and gesturing by the apparent shift manager??? If the shift manager happen to read this please understand that customers have numerous options and your unprofessionalism will cost you business

I normally wouldn’t write a review for a chain restaurant such as this but I had a really nice experience the last time I went.
We sat at the bar and the bartenders were superb. They were attentive and helped each other out. You could tell they loved working together which made the atmosphere positive and inviting.
My cup was never dry for more than a few seconds and the bartenders were honest about the drink prices. I got a happy hour $ 4 margarita and asked if I could make it a double (at ruby Tuesday if you make a happy hour margarita a double it’s only an extra $ 2 or so) the bartender told me he could but he would have to charge me for the shot which would be like $ 6 so I just stuck with the $ 4 regular margarita. I really appreciate honesty when it comes to drink prices. It sucks to get a shocking bill at the end.
My friend and I ordered a chicken sandwich to split. I was really surprised and pleased when it came out on two plates with the sandwich cut in half and fries on both plates. I thought we would be doing the dividing of the sandwich ourselves but they made it easy for us!
Overall was an awesome quick bite before catching a movie on a Saturday night. Would do it again.

Horrible! They sat us in the back where I guess they had no A.C. it was so hot. Then there was stuff floating in our water. And to top it off we waited 15 min and still had no waitress visit the table.

This is the worst Chili’s that I have ever been to. The service was awful, we only saw our waiter twice, when we ordered and when he brought out the food. The food was just barely warm and did not taste like what we have eaten at other Chili’s. In addition, the restaurant was very dirty inside, including in the part of the kitchen that you could see as you left the restaurant. We will never be back.

My family loves Chili’s. We typically go around once a month. We’ve been going to this Chili’s for about a year, since we moved here. The service started out great. But around August 2014 onward, the service has been awful. And it’s not the servers, it’s the kitchen staff. I was told on several occasions by the server that the kitchen was short staffed and apologized for the delay. On top of it, the food quality has become unacceptable. I ordered the the sizzler and it has come out burned. I’ve ordered their flatbreads and also received them overcooked.
This has consistently been a problem for months now. It is November 2014 and we just can’t return there anymore. I don’t know if it will ever improve.

I love sitting at the bar. A side of ranch is .79 great way to nickel and dime you’re guests

The atmosphere is typical for a Chili’s, and after a rough start, everything was decent. Food was good as expected. Service, while extremely slow to begin, was excellent once one of management took notice. Comped chips and dip even though I specifically asked him not to. Otherwise it was a pleasant place to eat after an evening of shopping.

For the most part, I really do like the food here. The staff doesn’t go out of their way to be friendly, but they are pleasant. My favorite is the boneless buffalo wings as an appetizer and the Margarita Chicken as the meal and a Margarita Presidente as my drink of choice. My only complaint is that one time I ordered the boneless wings and they were raw in the middle. Here’s a tip: look both ways before crossing the street and cut into your buffalo wings and check for raw meat before you eat them.

The Chili’s at MacArthur Center is my favorite. Excellent location and after shopping at the mall I always stop in because of the Great staff. The service is top notch and the food is always great there. No matter whom I may go there with everyone can find something great on the menu.
