Clear the rest of your day right now and stop by for some flavor packed authentic shawarma. If you’re going to try Mr. Shawarma, do it on a Monday or Tuesday to get a falafel and drink for free. If you’re really hungry the platter will do but really it feeds two(check my pics). I tried the Shawarma platter($ 14.95) and falafel, which turned out to be pretty life changing. The meat was turkey instead of lamb, but it was seasoned perfectly and if you stuff all of the veggies into the pita too, it adds flavor/texture to make you drool at the thought. This place has flavorful food, fantastic service and I will be back ASAP.

It’s a great place to try out food that’s different from the norms of every day american fast food. This is also a great place to try middle eastern type food. You won’t be disappointed. Kinda like subway and chipotle but with a pita bread. I ordered the Shawarma and Falafel. I really enjoyed the Shawarma as it had great tasting meat along with the usual toppings; it’s like a salad with minced cucumbers, lettuce, meat in a pita bread with mustard and other dressings. The falafel wasn’t really my forte but never the less, it was fresh tasting. My only complaint is the price, I can get a large handmade pizza with 3 toppings from dominos by carryout give or take a couple change but that shouldn’t hold you back, check it out!

This place is DELICIOUS!!! The food is so fresh and the place is very clean. The guys behind the counter are super friendly as well. The prices are a little high but you do get a nice portion. We got 2 shawarma wraps, 1 hummus bowl &1 fountain drink and after the 15% tip it was $ 40. But the wraps were so big my husband and I could’ve easily just shared 1 instead. We ended up taking everything home. The hummus is the best hummus I’ve ever had and I’ve been to the Middle East a few times. You can tell it was fresh and home made. I only kept it until lunch the next day because I wasn’t sure how long fresh hummus would keep. The only complaint I can come up with is the inside of the place is so plain. It looks like an old Chinese take out place. It needs a face lift on the inside. Other than that this place is AMAZEBALLZ!!! The bomb dot com.

As the result of my awesome lunch experience today at Mr. Shawarma, I am increasing my rating to a well deserved 5 stars. One issue I brought up in my original review of this past April was their french fries. I thought they did not quite fit in with the rest of their cuisine and suggested an alternative such as couscous instead. In addition, their fries had struck me as rather bland and ordinary at the time. They now offer an alternative with basmati rice with their platters, which works for me just fine. It just so happened that they had run out of their basmati rice during their very busy lunch time rush today. As a result, I ended I up with the fries anyway. They were vastly improved over the ones I had before, with a crispier texture and a deeper flavor profile enhanced by a zestier seasoning. Today I ordered their SHAWARMAPLATTER, which I enjoyed before during a previous visit. They describe their shawarma as follows: «Sliced and marinated turkey with layers of lamb fat in the middle, rotated and slow cooked on a vertical spit.» It was moist, flavorful, an
