I absolutely HATE going to the dentist. I’ve had shoddy work, painful experiences, dealt with rude, cold people… basically every bad dental experience you can imagine. I put off going to the dentist for years because I’ve been terrified, traumatized, and at this point, embarrassed about the state of my teeth because it’s been so long. Dr. Kent and his staff completely changed my outlook.
From the very first interaction over the phone until the completion of my procedure, every person I encountered was kind, friendly, helpful, reassuring and understanding. I have no insurance and they were upfront and accurate about pricing– no surprises. When I was crying before I even had an x-​ray, the assistant took the time to literally wipe away my tears and comfort me. Dr. Kent was very kind, gentle, and professional. He took time to make sure all of my questions were answered before my procedure (a filling). He managed to give me my numbing shots with the most minimal discomfort– a definite first in my experience. He even made my driver a goody bag when she had to wait a bit longer because my appointment ran a few minutes late.
I am no longer scared of the dentist! I’m going to schedule my first cleaning in years and get back on track. Go see Dr. Kent. He and everyone in his office are great. I really can’t say enough kind words.

I have to say that I am absolutely terrified of the dentist, and everyone at this office made me feel so comfortable and I actually ended up leaving there happy today! That’s definitely a first for me. The dentist was so kind and very gentle. He even did my cleaning for me since the hygienist wasn’t available. He answered all of my questions and was extremely patient. I’m so glad to have found a dentist that I’m not only NOT scared of going to, but I’m actually looking forward to my next cleaning!
