Just finished our annual pre-Christmas lunch and it was not that good. I ordered a Margarita and it was so sour, I sent it back. Most everyone ordered something simple and most everyone was disappointed. I kept having to ask for Ranch dressing for my fries. Someone ordered the apple dessert and even that was disappointing. I order the Strawberry shortcake. When it arrived, I tried to give some to my coworker, but the ‘shortcake’ was so hard you could use it to file your nails. I doubt I’ll ever go back.

Our waiter, Zoe, was very professional. Helped us get a better rack of ribs when the first rack was too dry. Needless to say, the food wasn’t the best. I had the sea food platter, which was good, but NOT worth the price, i had expected to have something to bring home. If you’re looking for a place to eat and good service, this is you’re place; however, If you’re trying to get impressed, this Ruby Tuesday’s is not recommended.

What, can I say positive. The waiter was professional, attentive and courteous. As for the food that’s a different story I ordered the hickory bourbon glazed pork chop dinner, with mashed potatoes and string beans. The pork chop was pretty bland, it had a sweet un-BBQ flavor. Mashed potatoes were over peppered and the green beans just bland. Again nice service but the food, was not really desirable. Again proper seasoning would of made a big difference, in other words the food looked better then it tasted.

My mother and I have been to this particular Ruby Tuesday on numerous occasions because it’s close to home. We’ve never really had bad service there but this evening the service we had was exceptional. Our waiter Tre & I apologize if I misspelled your name. I am always commenting on today’s generation and their respect or should I say lack thereof for their elders. But he is definitely an exception to that rule. He made my mother and I feel comfortable and he was very attentive. So many times we get negative recognition. I’m happy to give positive feedback about someone who deserves it ten times over. The food was excellent and the again I can’t say enough about the service this exquisite young man provided. Hopefully we get him again.

The food was delicious and the server we had did a good job but we weren’t to happy that they didn’t keep items on the salad bar, no mushrooms, onions etc. Really?! We were pretty surprised that this would be acceptable with this being something that you pass by to be seated as you come in. You would think this would be something you would want to be presentable and stocked well, guess not.

I’ve been here a couple of times after midweek(Tuesday Evening) church services. Every time that I have come here the service has been very good. I applaud them in having good service at this time of the evening on a slower night because I have experienced servers being pretty slack and not in touch with the needs of their table. Like most chains, they have a pretty varied menu that has some yummy items. The Salad Bar is the one thing that separates Ruby Tuesday from their other competitors. Every once in awhile I have a desire to pretend to be an herbivore for an evening and their salad bar is pretty good. Upside of the salad bar is you can legitimately get full on the items they have, downfall is there aren’t a ton of choices. Having had almost all of their desserts, I definitely recommend the Blondie(a warm blonde brownie with chunks of chocolate and crunchy nuts, served with ice cream), it’s «lick the plate» worthy. If you’re in the area give them a try they can take care of you and a friend or you and a group no problem especially on the slower nights.

Okay this place isn’t bad food is decent, customer service alright. But my only thing is the freaking steak knife was filthy when I took it out of the napkin gross.

Honestly I came in for a quick drink and ended up getting a small meal. The food was a lot better than I imagined. I usually never consider eating at Ruby Tuesdays but I took a chance. I didn’t experience the famous salad bar however my 2 apple martinis where fabulous. The bartenders where entertaining. Service did seem a little slow for everyone else though.

Good atmoshpere good food. We were seated quickly(the place was not busy at 530 on a Saturday night) I had the sirloin with asiago sauce. I was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The salad bar was good but wish they had more variety. I have been here several times and have never left dissatisfied. I would recommend going.

So after my last review, my same two crazy friends wanted to meet here again. I don’t know what they were thinking. Nonetheless, I agreed because I don’t get to see one of them very often. I had every intention on getting water only and just starving thru lunch. Then I realized I was going to be at work pretty late. I don’t remember the waitress’ name, but she gave 5STARSERVICE! This was a far cry from the crackhead we had back in February. In fact, I think they completely changed all of the mess that was wrong last time. The salad bar was PERFECT! I ordered the Ruby Minis… OFFTHECHARTS! The waitress even had the checks ready for us before we asked. She was so good, I left about a 35% tip! This is rare for me, but I was that impressed! This entire visit was 5 stars. But I’m giving them a 3 for now because of Crazy in February. I will give this one more go to see if I can bump this up another notch.

I’m torn. I want to give this restaurant five stars for being Ruby Tuesday’s. But I can’t. Because the lack of service was so prevalent that even the food couldn’t save the experience. I arrived, party of two, to a non-existent hostess. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time so I imagine it was probably because she lived and breathed«If you have time to lean you have ti-» oh, never mind, she’s on her way now from her conversation with the bartender. Cool. The hostess arrives, greets us, asks how many, and takes us to our table. Now, she did ask the whole«Have you been helped» question and I might have possibly a little bit gave her a blank stare for 2.6 seconds before telling her no. I sometimes have an issue with this question and could break it down, but that could be a review in itself. Moving on. It took a few minutes to receive drinks. Or to have the waitress greet us. It was the afternoon, around 1pm and whatever lunch rush they may have had was non-existent. We were two of maybe about 10 people in the restaurant. Waitress arrives, waters set, and more time is needed to decide… You know what? I’m just going to get to the point. Every time I come here, I make sure to have three things: 1. Garlic Cheese Bread — if done right and brought out fresh, these things will top any mainstream Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Outback, or Cracker Barrel bread appetizer that you may have ever. Seriously, when you break apart one of these unevenly shaped biscuits, you can watch the steam rise up to kick back, relax, and elevate your mind from your nostrils. The glorious garlic, butter, and hint of cheddar scent alone will have your mouth crying out of of the corners while it waits impatiently for that first bite. That first bite. Biscuit so soft, you would have thought you were chewing on a delicious cloud pillow. Light, fluffy, and completely full of exactly the amount of flavors is needs to be, garlic cheese biscuits are the things created out of moments in time of sheer culinary perfection. If you’re allergic to any of those things… my heart goes out to you. And your children. 2. Salad Bar — Ruby Tuesday’s, in my opinion, has always had one of the msot impressive salad bars to me, for it’s dollar value. All the usual suspects are here plus the options of dried cranberries and sunflower seeds, Parmesan and feta cheeses and pumpernickel croutons, and a pleasant variety of greens. I’m usually on a second helping by the time my main course arrives. 3. Chicken Fresco — a large succulent all-natural grilled chicken breast topped with(usually) three slices of vine-ripened tomatoes and a lemon butter/balsamic vinaigrette combo that is the true hero of this dish. It’s accompanied by your choice of vegetables(I usually get the broccoli), and white cheddar mashed potatoes. I could actually write a review on the mashed potatoes alone. All in all, the Chicken Fresco has an awe-inspiring taste that has earned it’s spot as one of RT’s signature dishes. Wow, Dalin, that sounds incredible. It is, friends, it is. I went off on those biscuits, didn’t I? You did, Dalin, you did. But alas, the service was so bad that I could not walk away from this experience at my five star happiest. Drinks took longer than necessary to be refilled; to the point where the glasses where pushed to the edge of the table to call attention to themselves. However, in order for that to happen, the waitress would have to take a socializing commercial break to do her job. There seriously was not one person doing anything productive. Wait. I lied. There was an older woman who made sure the salad bar was filled. Kudos to you, Salad Bar Filler Lady. As for the rest of your Wonder Friends, I could seriously do without them. Cashing out took some time and I can’t understand why as it was not busy. Maybe the system needed to reboot. Well, perception shapes reality and this was the worst Ruby Tuesday’s location I have ever been to. Five Star Food. Zero Star Service. That’s actually a 2.5 star average. But man… those biscuits.

Visited this location for lunch 9/26/12.- arrived around 11:45am — location was NOT busy.- honestly I had a meeting at 130 and had some time to kill, so I was not stressed over time. After being seated and waiting 10 minutes(without being greeted) I went to the bathroom to wash my hands(I was gone for 2 minutes) — when I returned to the table, I found that it had been cleared. I took my seat again, smiled at servers as they walked by– I was greeted by someone(finally) and she took my drink order– she did inform me that she was not my server. About 5 minutes later, MY server brings my drink to me, she apologized for my wait.(I appreciated that she noted that). I placed my order– Chicken BLT. 30 minutes pass, and my server stops at my table to inform me that the Cook had prepared the wrong sandwich– she had made a Buffalo chicken instaead– but was making mine«on the fly» and it should be right out. She refilled my drink and moved on to other guests. I do need to mention that the restaurant is still NOT busy.- by now it was around 1230. 15 more minutes pass, my food finally arrives.(I thought the Chicken BLT was grilled– it was not… which was my fault for not reading that detail.) My phone rang, and it was a client so I had to take the call — thought I would be on my way by this point. While on the phone I look at my lunch, the bun actually had buffalo sauce on it, the chicken was WAY over cooked– and fries had been sitting for sometime. I took a bite of the Chicken sandwich, difficult to cut into– and I bit into a piece of fat/gristle– I politely put it into my napkin and pick at my fries… I am still on the call still when the sever and manager stop by– so I am unable to say anything. I finish my call and do not eat anymore of my sandwich and I am also not checked on again by either the manager or my server– My plate is still completely full… I pushed the bun to the side since it had the buffalo sauce on it… and I had not had anymore of the chicken and there were still fries on the plate– at this point I was over it. My server comes over and asks if I am finished with my plate –which is still full. I say yes. She returns with my check– nothing had been comp’d — even after everything– I guess that it is normal at this location for people to leave their plates un-touched? I paid $ 12 for lunch — and left a cash tip–($ 5) I come from the service industry– worked for a competing chain through college so I «get it» but the over– all experience was so negative that I will never return to a Ruby Tuesday and Highly recommend staying away from this one.

I really need to stop coming to Ruby Tuesday. There was trash on the floor that the waiter just kept stepping over the whole time we were there. When I asked if they still had the Peppercorn Steak, the waiter said no. But then my friend pointed it out on the menu. When we went up to the salad bar the plates were still wet and the lettuce looked like it had been out all day. For some unknown reason, I my friend really likes the salad bar there, so I only go when he goes. But I think one of my other friends said it best: Ruby Tuesday is not a restaurant, it’s an IQ test!

I love their salad bar, although it seems a bit pricey if you don’t really get your«helpin» of salad. Their other menu items are very good, but I usually always go with the salad bar. Their other menu salads are really good too(Ruby Mini’s, steak, chicken, etc). I love the Carolina Chicken Salad(although the calorie count on it is outrageous!). They really have tried to step it up a bit and it shows. Not to mention the best thing they ever came out with is those garlic cheddar biscuits. They are quite addictive; however, you usually have to ask for them — they never remember to bring them out and they are a little stingy with them.

Ruby Tuesday’s has a FANTASTIC salad bar. Every time my boyfriend and I go somewhere NOT in Washington, we keep an eye out for RT. Oh. And don’t get me started on the little cheesy herb biscuits. MAN those are addictive. Maybe that’s why they only give you like 1 each. It’s alright. I’m a little piggy. I ask for more. The last couple times, I got the spicy shrimp fettuccine dish. The first time I got it, I was disappointed because I thought the shrimp was breaded… it wasn’t. Just highly seasoned. But then it grew on me. Annnnnnd then I got it again. I wish there was one near Seattle.

Not sure what the deal is, but salad bar has been looking tired and sad and veggies wading in oil. I love RT because of the salad bar, but this one is becoming more and more shady each visit.

Me and my husband went there for a late dinner around 8:30 pm we got seated quickly and waited on quickly which was nice. I ordered the chicken and mushroom Alfredo. It wasn’t bad just not vey good. The chicken was dry and there was not very much alfredo sauce at all on the dish. Our waitress came to our table about 100 times. Kind of annoying. We spent about $ 30 for some of the cheapest items on the menu. For that price I would not go back for the quality of that food.

I usually avoid chains, but this was right by our hotel and the kids were nuts from being in the car all day so we decided to eat in our hotel suite. Ruby Tuesday, from the few times I have eaten at one, seems to offer decent burgers and other things at a fair price. This one, however, seemed below the standard. I waited a while to pick up my to-go order so the food wasn’t waiting on me, but everything was soggy. The 4-way appetizer had soggy chicken tenders, soggy wings(which I hate) and ok mozzarella sticks and whatever those spring roll things are. At least those weren’t soggy. The kids chicken tenders… soggy. The fries with my burger? Soggy. Even the grapes with the kids meals were soggy, meaning not fresh and crunchy like good grapes are. My broccoli? You guessed it… On a positive note, the staff was friendly but if we stay on Military Highway again we will try another place, there are several in walking distance. Maybe eating there is better than take out.

I go to see my good friend Destiny at the bar. She always is great company and makes the best drinks! Yesterday I had hmmmm maybe a glass and a half of Pinot Noir and some of the double chocolate cake! Let’s just say I slept well last night! I haven’t really eaten the food there yet but I would recommend seeing Destiny at the bar!

First time to dine at a Ruby Tuesday — things must have gotten much better after Dre S.‘s review of 2008. There we were, muy hungry after watching the Admirals lose to the Hershey Bears; our group of 5 families(25 people) arrived about 10:40 pm, 20 min prior to their closing at 11 pm. There were still a decent number of patrons dining, so we thought it worth to ask if they would seat us even though they were kind of in wind down mode and we would obviously force them to keep the kitchen open longer. The hostess was very accommodating and sat us quickly at a few tables near each other. The manager and waitstaff were friendly, and we had zero issues with ordering as they provided everyone with an individual check that we consolidated by family at the end, departing the restaurant around 12:45AM. There were no complaints about the food — I think everyone ordered something different, so it was good across the board. Service was slightly slow on the beverages and refills but forgivable due to our size. A bit out of the way from our house, but I’d happily go back.
