You wouldn’t want Al Qaida or the Taliban flying your plane, so why would you let reproductive decisions about your very own body be determined by anti-​choice Crisis Pregnancy Centers aimed at giving you false information?
That they are anti-​abortion isn’t the point of this review — the point is that they provide medically-​inaccurate information and target young and impressionable college students in trying to accomplish their anti-​choice agenda.
A came in pretending to be a college student who has just gotten his college freshman girlfriend pregnant. Not only was the information provided inaccurate (high percentage of fatalities and cancer due to abortions, as an example), they also guilt patients with language that is aimed at getting their agenda accomplished. The «counselor» told me that men often regret supporting their partners’ choice when they have a second child and holding that child reminds them of the first child who was «killed.» Additionally, women also suffer from «depression» suddenly as they «clean the house» or «shopping» when they realized that they «killed their baby.»
You don’t have to go to Planned Parenthood — but you don’t have to go here, either. There are free health clinics without agendas that will provide you with medically-​accurate information and allow you to make your own choice — whatever that choice might be.
In the end, while their intent might be good, the Keim Center’s practice of lying to women does more harm than good for them. I’d stay the hell away.
