REALLY enjoyed the«Reggie» Calzone… and my son’s chicken fingers looked pretty good… the only real complaint that I have was the barrage of 80’s female singers being BLARED over the speakers. I mean, really… I don’t need«Wind Beneath My Wings» being screamed at me while I’m trying to eat.

I pretty much only find myself here after wandering around Normal at questionable hours of the night when visiting ISU, but every time I go here I’m both thankful and disappointed that I am no where near one of these. The food is greasy delicious food, perfect if you’ve had a drink or five. So much so that my body is thankful there’s none of these by me. I haven’t explored the menu too much, I have gotten the same thing almost every time I have come here. But I typically don’t come alone and I have never seen someone disappointed with the food we received. I also have only gone in and placed an order, I have never done delivery but for the most part the timing of our food was not too bad. I also have never gone in when I had anything but time to spend there because what else do I need to be doing at like, 1 am? I wouldn’t say this is quality food that is a MUST try, but it’s good, I like that this place is open at weird hours of the night, and service has never been bad in my experiences.

In Normal? Give it a try. Nice concept with above average food. Love the options but value and service is below what is expected. Workers give enough effort not to suck but nowhere near the pride it takes to feel like a valued customer. Prices are Ok. Pretty good for an individual dealing with time issues but not so great you’d bring folks here.

Got food from here twice. The first time, the food looked alright, it was delivered on time, but thought $ 30 plus $ 5 tip was ridiculous for 2 water bottles, a cheese stix, 2 side salads and a construction zone calzone. Found out the cheese stix and calzone weren’t throughly cooked. Tried to call and complain but the phone kept on ringing. As soon as I call from a different number, someone picked up. Seems like they receive a lot of complaints, they replaced the calzone but again I had the same problem of it being undercooked. Not coming here again. Not worth the stomach issues and trips to the bathrooms. If you want GOOD and DELICIOUS D.P. DOUGH try the location in Champaign Urbana IL on Green Street.

Not good! Bacon cheese fries not cooked all the way, cold and chewy! Sinna stix a waste of money, horrible tasting and chewy as well. Wife had a giro and I had a Bbq chicken calzone and they were a 3 out of 5. Delivery was quick but I guess that’s what happens when the food isn’t cooked. Overpriced and to many other better places to eat in this town. I won’t be ordering again!

Place is closed for remodeling, went there twice in the last month to have lunch. They have been close two times, very disappointing, will tried again in a month or so. I guess.

Great food, seriously. However, the staff seems to be going downhill. I gave this place a couple of second chances because I love the food, but this is the third consecutive time they either screwed up or completely lost my order. Don’t try to call in the food, just go, order, and wait. It will save you the headache of dealing with their nonexistent phone staff.

Greasy, bacon filled, Dipped in ranch, deliciousness. It’s the best thing to order when you’ve had a drink and you don’t want to drive to go get food. The chicken bacon ranch is my favorite. Don’t order the fires or the tots, they’re just baked in the oven and are normally pretty soggy: c

This place has great calzones! Love them! We tried the Reggie Calzone that has sausage and pepperoni in it and it was delicious. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I tried the Corleone, which has Italian Beef in a garlic parmesan crust, I was floored! The service was good and efficient. We will definitely be going back!

Amazing calzones and is a staple of ISU culture. They have every possible ingredient, including the ultimate food group, mac n’ cheese. The only complaint I have is that their fries are probably the worst I’ve ever had. On a scale from 1-McDonald’s, they are probably a –0.5. It’s basically like if you took fries you bought from Walmart, undercooked them, dipped them in water and then let them soak the 45 minute delivery time, you would have DP Doughs fries. But then again who goes here for fries. I hope you don’t. If you do, may God have mercy on your soul. I’m pretty sure I can taste the Irish Potato Famine in every bite. 4 stars

Really good calzones. Their t-shirts that say«I DP» are hilarious to people not familiar with the restaurant.

I love the Maui Wowe. And the BBQ Chicken. I usually order on line, and they are pretty quick at delivering. The prices are not bad either.

This may be fast food, but it is delicious and consistent every time! This was my favorite place to go, whether it was late night or early morning. Perhaps, you could even say my profound love(or lust?) for the calzone began at this very location. Next time I’m in Normal, you can trust that I’ll be stopping in here!

Calzones itself are tasty, especially after midnight when you may have had a little too much to drink. I recommend the Reggie. Don’t expect much from the interior, nor would I recommend eating inside. Floors and tables are filthy. Also don’t expect Hippie McGee behind the counter to care much about your experience beyond taking your money. Best bet: take your order to go.

I am usually pretty critical places like this because the restaurant seems dirty and not well out together, but DP Dough consistently puts out good calzones that don’t me feel completely useless after eating them. They have some of the most creative calzone and most taste great. I am partial to the Falling Rock(loaded baked potato zone), Pineapple Express(chicken, ham, pineapple and bbq sauce), and the chicken parmazone(this one’s obvious). Great for a family because thy offer family meal deals or a late night drunk meal for a college student-or a not student.

The calzones here are legitimately tasty and huge for what you pay for them. Though they take a little while when you order them at the counter, the quality is definitely there. You can finish a whole one yourself, but you won’t need to eat for the next two meals. Share one with a friend! ;) Though I was skeptical ordering from Tattoos McGoo, the calzone I assumed he cooked was awesome! Thanks tattoo guy!

Have stopped by a couple times and picked up several different types of calzones. Haven’t tried delivery — so can’t comment on that. Have liked them all. My favorite is the Maui Wowi(ham and pineapple)
